Not 'this weekend only'. Mewtwo, the master class of all Psychic Pokemon and humongous expy of the Earthbound series' own big bad guy Giygas, is available through Black & White's Mystery Gift over Nintendo WFC. He's a Level 70, random nature, and knows Psystrike, Shadow Ball, Aura Sphere, and Electro Ball. He's also holding a King's Rock. He's available from now until February 26th.

Hey hey! I bet the Black and White discussion thread is feeling a little lonely and buried at this point anyway! Lets try to keep the Mystery Gift/event talk in there. It needs some love.

If you're going to pick up Mewtwo, you probably also ought to grab an ARCEUS via Pokémon Global Link, while you're at it. Apparently the offer is good through May. Just log in to the Global Link website, and put in the password (ARCEUSVOTE), and you can pick him up via Game Sync. It's a shame there's no way to move him to a Generation IV game. But you should definitely be sure to pick this one up. Arceus is super-rare. (And super powerful! :18:) Definitely something worth adding to your collection. I'm stoked to be able to get my hands on one of my own, legitimately.

I honestly don't like Arceus.

For the record, are Arceus and Mewtwo both only available with Black or White?

Yes Dashe, it's why I passively suggested moving the conversation to the Black and White discussion thread, where it should've belonged; y'know, so nobody would get confused... *whistle*
Kinda silly for them to be offering pokemon like that for Black and White (especially when some people need to finish their Unova dex), but I have no big complaints. I've haxed Arceus, and I can easily get Mewtwo from LG or FR, so yeah.

I would love to move conversation to the Black and White thread, but evidence shows that I was the last poster, and everyone knows DA ROOLS against double posting. So I will endorse the Black and White Thread so that I may continue to post in it.

Err, Why not just turn this into a general Pokemon topic, instead of having separate game threads or make a general Pokemon gaming thread?

Minor update. I pooled all of the older links (minus the upside down Blues Battle) into one area (though they are unlisted!) in the description of the PkmnBattleStation Youtube Channel. Dunno how helpful it'll be until I can get around to labeling them, but it's a start, right? And- oh yeah. fAB battled me! fAB battled me! Holy Crap! *ahem* Yeah. A few iScribble sessions ago, fAB appeared, and with enough hinting and singing, I managed to get him to battle me. The only thing I feel bad about is OHKOing Sneasel and Kingdra. I'm such a horrible person. Another thing is that Pitch had been wanting to battle fAB for a while too. At least, that's what fAB told me. Soooo, I'm going down the guilt spiral of doom as I post the video, but it's something new, so who cares, right? There's another video I've yet to upload, but this one'll have to do for now. I'm just lucky it turned out to be kinda short.

Glad to have a record of my first foray into online battling. *saves video off YouTube*
It didn't really go that badly, considering my total inexperience with competitive play. The only thing that really bugs me is that first accidental Signal Beam. *facepalm* Honestly, at that moment I was totally flustered with multiple people suddenly coming into the room asking me unexpected things and the cat jumping up on my computer keyboard as I try to stop my music so I can pay attention to everything. @_@ Aside from that though, fun battle.
I'll be back for more once I pull my head out of 2nd gen tactics and power up with some of the more modern items and strategies that led to my downfall. *shakes fist defiantly*

Here's that (Double) Battle I mentioned earlier. Glad to see you found it rather fun, fAB! The team I used was just part 1 of the ball game, though. You haven't even seen how scarily I handle entry hazards (Stealth Rock, Spikes, Toxic Spikes) and Chansey. Hopefully, you'll never have to meet Chansey. Everybody hates it when I use my Chansey. Buuut yeah. Stockpile was a "gentler" strategy I wanted to try out, and I suppose I can't say I'm displeased with the results, but critical hits are always going to be fatal to Clefables of all sorts. ClefABle was so ready to rock, too...
