Hello everyone! I also went missing for a long time, been really busy doing my webcomics, I'm not a pro yet, and I don't receive any income from my art, but I'm slowly growing a fan base, I have 1K subs on Spanish webtoon, it's a large number but considerably small compared to the big hits on that platform, but I'm happy with what I have created so far. My comic is actually some sort of fusion between Danganronpa and Among Us, it is titled "Impostor Student: Game Royale" I will try to be a bit more active on this forum because I feel like my English skills are deteriorating, and I also miss talking about Legends stuff. It's nice to read you guys again!

5 Islands don't depend on the service; it's downloadable and doesn't have any connectivity that would require a connection to the i-mode service. All it needs is its phone's custom SIM card to function. Also, the i-mode game service isn't dead yet (it dies November of this year.) You might be thinking of Capcom Keitai, which distributed the Rockman games. That's 100% six feet under. Basically, you can't buy 5 Islands anymore, but you can still play it on the phone it was originally downloaded to. Really? That's good to know! There is still hope then, the only pieces missing are securing a phone with the game installed (probably a little hard because some Japanese folks are against game preservation, they consider it as piracy if I remember correctly) then ripping the game files and after that coding an emulator, it's a lot of work and probably lots of money are involved in the process but there's a possibility to achieve it some time in the future.

Wow love that site. I had no idea about this game, I wanna play it ! Lol have you ever successfully emulated it ? There's a video that explains how that kind of games used to work, it even features this game: youtu.be/tKH0x21rj1YI'm afraid is currently not possible to rip and emulate those kind of games, they probably won't even work because the service is no longer available.

You mean this one? I believe it would be a lot of fun to recreate that scene, specially because I don't usually draw Teisel but I love his design, also the room has a lot of detail that I might enjoy modelling in 3D. I will definitely try to draw it some time soon.

Hello guys! It's been a long, long time since I've last created and posted some MML fanart, so I decided to make a little redraw of one of my favorite scenes from MML, the part when Roll is fixing Willy's boat and she has some oil on her face. I don't know why I like that scene so much, maybe it's just because Roll is so darn cute. Anyway, I've posted it on twitter, so here it is if you want to leave your like: Here's the original scene: Here's the redraw: (Sorry if the image is too large, I have forgotten how to use these forums correctly, and the file is also too big to attach it) This pic was made using Blender, this has been my favorite program since I've started modelling and later programming my games on it, and some time ago I began to play with the grease pencil tool, which basically lets you draw 2D images and project them onto 3D objects, or transform them and animate them just like any other 3D object, which I find quite interesting and fun. So, Roll was made in 2D using the grease pencil, but there's also some 3D layers to give her some depth depending on the angle of view. The background is composed out of basic 3D shapes and outlined using the freestyle option at render. I'm planning to animate this pic some time later, adding some movement to her hair caused by the wind, a blinking animation and such, nothing too complex since I'm fairly new to animating grease pencil objects. So, what do you think? which other scene from any of the Legends games should I redraw next?

Welcome to the forums! I think I heard someone talking about 3D modelling? I'm also a 3D enthusiast and also love Blender, please feel free to create your own thread and populate it with all your work, people here won't sell your posts as NFTs, at least that's what I think. I'm also a 2d artist and currently working on a redraw of a certain scene from MML1, I'm making it in Blender using also the grease pencil, so it's going to be a 2.5D artwork. I'll post it when it's done.

It is truly a dream come true to be able to understand at last what this little gem says, I remember I used to stare at the only low quality scan that was available at the time and wondered if I would ever understand what it says.

Congratulations! You've just unlocked long lost memories! I kinda remembered how my mecha used to look like, but I had forgotten all the little details of the battle I designed, such as how one would have to knock out one member of the family in order to get a shooting opportunity, or the way the mech and explosions would create waves one could ride to get close to the mech, and now that I think about it, we really took our creative liberties and took for granted that we could modify the stage or create game physics or features that we weren't sure would be present in the game, I guess that's why our entries weren't selected, because even though there were no rules that prevented us to create all of that, from a developer's perspective it would be nuts to implement all of those ideas just to be used on a single occasion. Same with Seetufel, I still believe that the fight would be amazing, but we ended creating more that was originally asked for, if the dev team were to select our ideas, they would definitely have to scrap all of those ideas and that would made us really upset. Speaking of Seetufel, I knew I was part of the team that created it, but I forgot what I suggested, now I know that it was my idea to let Megaman run on its tentacles, and again, more work for the developers. Now, I totally forgot about Hankuruten, the reaverbot we, as Legends Station created, I was unsure if I ended up creating a reaverbot of my own or helped to create one, but for some reason, this guy went off my radar the first time I checked the entries, I guess I was looking up for my name as the creator, but then again, I wasn't sure what my username was or if I had submitted anything in the first place. It turns out it was my design that you guys liked the most! The funny part is that while I forgot that I made that design, I did not forget the second design, that one tall guy that I submitted as an alternate design. I liked that design so much that I later redesigned it an used it on my MML inspired webcomic "Autonoma" I took the concept of the opera mask-like face that rotates to show the state of the reaverbot, if it is on standby, it will look harmless, small and kinda cute, but once it's serious time it grows larger and shows a ferocious face, I also like chainsaws, so I leaved that as well. Right now, I'm not writing that comic anymore, but I will come back to it some time later, my original plan is to create a videogame based on that comic which is in essence a spin-off of my fan game "The Master System" so yeah, my ultimate goal in life is to make that game for everyone to enjoy and let the people know about the games that inspired it, so I'm not going to give up on that project, even though it will have to wait a little until my finances get to a stable state. Thanks for reminding me about my passion for this series, that really boosts my enthusiast to keep creating more stuff like this.

This is amazing, thanks for your hard work and please keep on translating it! I've already saw those pages before on your Twitter but I think I need to thank you here too. Btw: on twitter I'm @quetzalandroide we already follow each other but I wasn't sure you knew that it was me 😂

That's nice to read! I've only submitted one entry by my own in the boss contest but I don't remember my username or the name of the boss I designed, it was something like "Ademaro" or something like that, it was basically a bigger version of the Gustaff mixed with Bruno and Bon Bonne as an arm of the mech. I don't know if you managed to save that entry but in case you didn't it's ok, I'm happy to be able to see other's creations once again.

Nice cover! My favorite songs from the original soundtrack of each game would be: MML1: "Another sun" if we can choose from the Japanese ost then the main theme is my favorite, the singer Reika Morishita made a remake around the time MML3 was announced and it's way better, it is also rumored that she will perform it again and "Your wind is blowing" live sometime soon. Speaking about the BGM, Juno's theme is the one I like the most but since it is actually "Little Fugue in g minor" from Bach I don't think it counts 🤔 MoTB: The mission select screen and the farm are the ones that I can remember right now, it's been some time since I last played it, I guess I like the most the Mission select screen BGM. MML2: Geetz's theme and Sera's last form are the best in my opinion.

Nice work as always! My favorite piece from this last batch is without doubt, Amaterasu, I love the game, I love wolfs and canines in general, and you nailed the look, amazing use of lighting as usual I do appreciate when someone cares as much as you about their characters, I wouldn't ever had noticed the Okami inspiration because I'm kinda slow noticing those little details, but now that you mentioned it I can clearly see the mirror, the beads and obviously the sword which Amy uses as weapons, also, thanks for that clay character turn-around, it's really useful as reference even though her design it's a little outdated. I've spend a couple of days working on a little something for you and use it as practice for a new workflow as well, it's not as amazing as your work but I believe I will get better and I could potentially create some interesting art. Anyway, without further ado, here it is: As I said, it's nothing amazing, it's actually quite simple to be honest, but it's my first finished work using Blender's grease pencil. I wanted to draw Lucina trying to imitate MML2's artwork design, but that's not the fun part of this piece, since Blender is a 3D creation software one can actually play in a lot of different ways combining 2D and 3D, so you must see it in action to appreciate what I was really trying to achieve with this work: Playing a little with the order of the layers and it's actual 3D position and rotation in the scene and applying some masks, it's possible to create some sort of parallax effect, or some kind of "magic window" In this case, you can see the 3D scene only through the mirror. I wanted to create something for you to show my gratitude for that pic of my characters you did earlier, and I found the anniversary of the creation of Lucy to be the perfect opportunity to do so.
