I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but chances are that is some generic response. Everytime I have sent an email similar to yours to any big company, I always get back responses that are strikingly similar. Oh well, heres to hoping they take your email to heart!

No, no, no. I've seen generic Capcom responses before. They don't even mention the game in question... bastards... That one though, says DASH a few times, says something about the PSP releases, and closes saying there are no plans for a sequel. All DASH related. So unless they have some generic response for just about every game, I kinda doubt that one is generic.
DragonDASH, do you know which one of those addresses replied? Or did they both?

If we send E-Mails it should be about us wanting a new game and not that we want to play as Tron in the new one or that they should finally resolve this or that. We should get confirmation that they are making the game then send suggestions about what we want in them. It would probably get real irratating for them if they had to read through a bunch of strange request from fans. I know nobody has done or suggested doing this but I just want to put that out before all hell breaks loose and people start saying crazy things.
This is awesome news. I'm very excited and I'm definitely ging to send an E-Mail when I collect my thoughts of what I want to say.
Oh and you said they you disagreed that it was underrated. You meant you agreed. Underrated means that people don't give it the credit it deserves. I know it's not a big deal just something I noticed.

Dash was underrated by professional reviewers. Most who played it thought otherwise(myslef included). I too should send CRapcom an email

Here's my story on on 6/28/05 I sent this letter to Capcom ~ Written in Japanese. On 7/2/05, I got a response from Dashteam@capcom.co.jp saying that they didn't quite understand it (I used an online translator) so I resend it in English. On 7/8/05 webmaster@capcom.co.jp replied and thats when I got this: NOT TO BRAG, but I bet because of this letter that I sent, IntiCreates must have read this letter and put Rockman DASH 3 in THEIR project book, but Inafune refuse them to develop a DASH 3. DESPITE THE FACT that the series director of the DASH series, Yoshinori Kawano, has also directed ~~~~~ Surprise~~~~~~~~~ THE Megaman Zero series!! That explains the similarites between the two series! Like the frequently seen "Reaverbot eye" symbols that appear in Hyleg Ourobockle and Burble Hekelot's level in Mega Man Zero 2, Hanumachine's level in Mega Man Zero 3. AS well as a few reaverbot-like robots.

No offense, but I kinda doubt one letter would've made all that much diffference. Still that's pretty neat.
So... yeah, that's pretty neat. I think I'll mail them sooner or later - perhaps put this plan I've been sitting on for half a year into effect. I'll need 100 people willing to send 50 emails! Who's in?

aaaa. me? I'll send in one or two for sure. But shouldn't we organize ourselves? I think it'll make more of an impact if they get most of the E-Mails with two or three weeks instead of a bunch scattered throughout months.

Heh. Well like I said I have a plan. Cuz I'm cool like that. Unfortunatley my plan involves sending a minimum of 2500 emails, something I doubt I could do myself. (my plan was to use my 100 Gmail invites, to create 100 acounts which would have from the start, 50 invites a piece, then create 50 more acounts from those acounts and send email from all of them; crazy stuff, ain't it?)Yeah, we tried to organize an EMAIL CAPCOM! campaign months ago, and it kinda fell through iirc. what we really oughta do is come up with some central page, explaining what to do and why we're doing it. Mayhaps I can whip something up... somewhere else. I disagree though. Scattered, in my opinion would be better than not scattered. Since Capcom just rereleased the ports on PSP, they could just acount any type of response to that, but if the mails keep coming in long afterward, it'll show it's made more of a lasting impression. *nod* Of course I'm stupid so yeah.

Well, I'll certainly write in too, but I really don't like the idea of pestering Capcom with 2500 e-mails sent in by just a few people. All that would do is make them believe that Legends fans are a bunch of [stinky poopy heads] who [don't deserve a new game]. It's just that 50 e-mails from me is going to prove that I'm a hopeless fanatic, not anyone who's genuinely interested in Capcom and its series. And I'm glad you got a response! I guess it's a little disappointing that there are no current plans to develop anything, but its nice that it was still something fairly personal. I mean, I understand that it will take a lot to make an impact, but if I was associated with Capcom (we'd have a Skull Soul in MMBN6) and I recieved 2500 unpersonalized e-mails, I doubt it would affect my conscience much to dump em..... Arr. Sorry. I forgot to pirate that one.

You misunderstand the plan. Every email is from a unique address, so to Capcom it would seem to be from a separate person(provided they don't check IP addresses, if they can do that).

I really think we should try to all send e-mails to capcom. But not just us, people in the other megaman communities, like planet megaman or the megaman network too to really show our support. They have taken the japanese fans opinions into account after all.

At this point really, I think it'd be the best possible time to storm them with Emails. While my "plan" was really more of a joke, I think it might be interesting to try sending lettters with kinda different perspectives and seeing what they have to say, since they don't seem to be short changing people who send in emails.
Word to the wise though, don't use online translators... >.< They work to an extent, if you wanna figure out what something says, but they're not really that accurate.

If Capcoms bound and determined not to make it, then they won't. Now they seem a bit more flexible, and our time is now if ever.
