Well that's the point really. EXE and Zero started, both of which caught on rather well, and it seemed more important to keep those going than it did Legends(and of course they continued to make the X series). It was basically a three-way trade off; if they weren't working on Battle Network they were working on Zero, if not that, X. Both of the first two have come to an end now, of course, so there may be more hope for the years ahead. With the Powered Up and Maverick Hunter series and now ZX though, things seem somewhat triple-split again, though, don't they?
All you say about Legends having the best story and characters is your own opinion and not shared by a large portion of the MegaMan fanbase. It's why we're here.
Legends would not be the same made by another company and I sincerely hope you were joking.

I know its my opinion. Nobody else has to think the same.
As long as they stayed true to the characters, story, and style I believe another company could do a fine job. But I will always wish that no matter what the same people have a say in it. I mean, as long as they don't change the characters and remember to acknoledge the first games exactly the way they were, why not? However if they ARE going to trash it, and none of us are sure that they will, keep it away from them. I'm not trying to say they are going to make it perfect no doubt about it, I'm just saying they possibley could and also remarking Capcom not doing anything with it. Almost makes you wonder, what if Capcom messes up?However if they get the original creators it would work.

Capcom's pretty much screwed. The voice actors will be d**ned near impossible to find, at least/especially over here on our end. But I doubt they'd let Squeenix do it - Inafune refused to let IntiCreates do it, did he not? Besides, they'd inevitably put their own spin on it - any company would. I'm sure there's an example somewhere, but I haven't the time nor the patience to think of one.

Some of us joke/speculate and you get all "elite" on us. No offense, but I think you're taking this far too seriously pal, at least for me. But it doesn't matter, I guess.

And once again, you pay attention only to the last sentence in that post. I oughta write my posts backwards, maybe then I'd get an actual response.
But, if I can't win there, I can't win there.
If by "elite", you mean "not asinine", then yes I would say I'm that. Or perhaps it's just the I consider the validity in the things I say, before I say them. I keep trying to make this about Legends and you keep dragging it back to an issue of my own personality. I'd think that would say something about you.
And so, I kindly ask you - and I hope you'll appreciate the irony here - to get off my back.
EDIT by EC: Alright, I'm calling this the beginning of what looks to be a flame war, so I'm putting an end to this now. Anymore of this and both of you (and anyone else who wants to jump in) will be penalized.
EDIT 2 by Pitch: Yeah, that's all fine and good, but the beginning would've been one post above this one.
