I need to watch what I'm doing, I pushed myself a little too hard today. Had to go out into the woods and find a mother cow who had twins. Sadly the one had died and we had to bury it. Being a farmer sucks at times.

It's my Spring Break and I havn't done crap! I like just sitting at home but I feel like I'm wasting the break. Anywho, I got scared by some bird poo today, I was sitting in my truck and bird poo splatted on my windshield and scared the crap outta me. (pun half intended). Thinking about buying a copy of Slingblade, it's such a good movie.

I watched Dragonball Z when I was about eight, but only because Sailor Moon came on right after it. And then I dumped Sailor Moon for Pokemon when Pokemon got popular.
Kids are so fickle when it comes to favorite TV shows. I haven't watched anime since shortly after Mega Man Legends 2 was released, not counting Miyazaki movies.

XD Not this kid. I've loved DBZ since I was 3 years old. I saw one episode of the first couple... Think it was episode 2 actually. Then I didn't see anything of it for like... 5 years cuz we didn't have cable. But I love the hell out of it.

There was a power outage at work, today- due to an accident: the driver of a semi truck passed out and crashed into the pole. Most of the day was spent cleaning up, so I wasn't complaining. When it came to school, however, things got stranger- my southeastern colonial class was canceled, as well! From what I'm hearing, the teacher was having back problems. Ouch. It was more like an off-day to me than it was a monday, in all honesty..

Kids are so fickle when it comes to favorite TV shows. I am sure that the same applies to lots of adults, though the case is not limited to TV shows. One of my first animations which I watched as a child was "Zettai Muteki Raijinoh", one of the shows slightly predating the Brave (Yuusha) series which eventually led to the most popular one: GaoGaiGar. One of my favorite shows of the mecha genre is Armored Trooper VOTOMS, however. Instead of machines which can take damage like crazy in a good VS evil conflict, the machines are no more than tanks on legs which explode good; something that even main characters are not impervious to. Another thing which I like in this show is the dark realism it portrays when it comes to war; unlike shows such as Gundam which tries very hard to show how tragic and meaningless war is, VOTOMS simply goes with "Conflict of all kinds will always exist, so grow up and deal with it".

As far as mechs go, I loved Zoids and G Gundam. Pointless violence just for the sake of violence. =D though that votoms stuff sounds alright.
As for gaogaigar, IIRC, that ended up as the single worst ps2 game to ever shame the videogame world. Though I could be wrong as to the name.

Ever since I played Armored Core i've been a fan of mech suits. Big O is my all time favorite anime, and I watch a little Neon Genesis when I can catch it, but thats not often.

I've received more wedding invitations this month than I have received in my entire life. I think all of my friends are going through a marriage epidemic. Two more just got engaged this year. :17: It's so weird.

Once again, my teacher had back problems: I was told that he left an hour before I arrived. While today is more or less a 'research and writing' period, this could be a problem if his problems persist into next week... but I doubt that'll happen.

I'm taking an Intro to Flash class, and I've witnessed something interesting. At least 75% of the homework animations turned in involve horrific acts of violence or people in extreme pain. If there's a car it will crash. If there's an airplane it will crash. If there's a boat, an airplane will crash into it, and then the guy riding it will be eaten by a shark, and so on and so forth. What depraved minds these graphic design students have. :23:
Not that I'm any better of course. My animation was of the sun fighting off storm clouds with a katana. :04:
I never actually watched Dragon Ball Z outside of a couple random episodes due to not having cable TV growing up. The only reason I know the plot is from playing DBZ Budokai on Gamecube. Maybe I'll get around to watching Kai one of these days.

XD I've tried animation in Flash this year. I failed, pretty much. My school's finally done in the UIL One-Act Play competition. Now I have more free time!!
