...Dude, veal? >__> <__< Too soon? So, who likes DBZ? Sadly yes too soon, the calf was way too young for veal. It was just born so it wasn't big enough to be turned into veal. ;D What sucked was I didn't even get to dig the grave. I stood there usless for 5 minutes until I got to the go ahead to gather large rocks. I swear I have to ask to do work, half the time I'm told no. Lousy rotten luck.

Hah, I think about the stuff Tau mentioned sometimes. Just a little. If they're teens, it wouldn't surprise me. I can relate. Page 23's Pikachu! I call this one "hiding with friends"

I'm taking an Intro to Flash class, and I've witnessed something interesting. At least 75% of the homework animations turned in involve horrific acts of violence or people in extreme pain. If there's a car it will crash. If there's an airplane it will crash. If there's a boat, an airplane will crash into it, and then the guy riding it will be eaten by a shark, and so on and so forth. What depraved minds these graphic design students have. :23: Not that I'm any better of course. My animation was of the sun fighting off storm clouds with a katana. :04: Hah, I've noticed that too. It's probably because of the male-to-female ratio, or gamer/otaku-to-nongamer/otaku ratio or whatever it is. Whenever I make a Flash animation, or any animation, it's usually either musical-related or contains some kind of impressive special effect. I do love special effects. Especially water. Most animators hate animating realistic water by hand, but I love splashes and all that rot.

Well, looks like my history teacher's back to normal. I saw him up and about on route to one of my classes. The way things are going, I don't have too much to worry about over the weekend, which is comforting to say the least.

It's probably because of the male-to-female ratio, or gamer/otaku-to-nongamer/otaku ratio or whatever it is. No, not really. The biggest otakus/gamers/whathaveyous in my aminations class happened to be female. Violence was a popular topic for assigned work too, though. Not barring my lions eating man animation, which wasn't graded despite being: exceptionally well drawn, very well animated with attention to spacing and timing, not pornographic, not cliche, not fucking stupid, referenced from photos. Followed the rules to a T. Wasn't graded. I was never told why, and my teacher didn't speak to me for awhile after that so I dropped out and took painting instead. :24: Among some unfinished animations were ballerinas, and a nekkid guy diving into a ravine. But honestly, that's what I like to draw. Seeing some of the less inspiring work in that class, if I were a teacher I would embrace that kind of variety. Vapid, mindless shit these animation students like, and I get ostracized by my teachers for working hard and giving a shit about what I do. But yeah, Flash is pretty underrated and abused by too many untalented asshats. Newgrounds is a cancer.

I never actually watched Dragon Ball Z outside of a couple random episodes due to not having cable TV growing up. The only reason I know the plot is from playing DBZ Budokai on Gamecube. Maybe I'll get around to watching Kai one of these days. BLASPHEMY D< Kai sucks, btw. It has some good parts, but overall it just doesn't compare. Go to watch-dragonball.com if you want the good stuff.

*Hesitatingly clicks the link IC provided. Moments later a resounding 'WTF' echoes throughout the neighborhood.*
That was supposed to be a senior year project? The guy got a grade for it? Good gravy, that was...I think I need an eye exam after watching that, I had to have gone blind for a second. Art professors are weird. They haven't got any qualms about having their favorites whatsoever. >_<

There's a stream of Legends going on right now at Ustream. Greg's at it, from the looks of things. www.ustream.tv/channel/unity-eventsIf this address doesn't work, go to Ustream. and look up the more recent MML stream hosted by capcomunity. *UPDATE* the stream ended a little while ago. but it's up for viewing..

Looks like Greg's been reading the hint book. Good old Christine Cain whatever-Snow/Greg-said-her-married-name-is, always jumping in to the rescue where it matters the most! For an older game, Mega Man Legends 1 is getting more and more accessible by the day, between the GameStop PC downloads, everyone and their mom doing playthroughs, and emulators. The guys from GameInformer actually did a pretty good job for people who've never touched the game in their lives.

That does make me feel way better about the green-lighting process. Now if only those hosters would provide people with the devroom link along with the PC downloads and emulators. :01: edit: wow, Pitch was right. Chrome really DOES treat its processes, plugins, and even the actual browser as each individual process. I was randomly ending the processes to restart Chrome because Java was acting derpy on it, and I ran into this message!Google really is as awesome as we all think.

Dashe: That's a first. GI tends to serve it's own interests, most of thier reviews hit good points, but their opinions on other things tend to be shallow and/or self-serving. If they don't like a game, they won't hesitate in tearing it to shreds In any case, this might get some attention going to those pinheads who run Unity.

GI gave it good reviews back in '98, too--they said so during the replay, actually. Two 8.5/10s and one 8.75/10. They gave MoTB something around 8. I borrowed the magazine they reviewed it in from my cousin for about a month back in the day. His birthday was two days ago, but he doesn't have an account here so I didn't waste the space in the birthday thread. XD

Okay.......I shouldn't listen to rock & roll while thinking of legends. (70's Rock [Madacy 2006] Disc 3, Ballroom Blitz, Brian Connolly; Sweet ) I couldn't find this version on youtube. ;D The ones on there sound completely different. But yeah here are some of the lyrics: Oh, I see a man in the back as a matter of fact His eyes were as red as the sun And the man in the back said everyone attack And the man in the back is ready to crack As he raises his hands to the sky Hmmmmmmmm that sounds so familiar.........but where have I seen that before? Thats right Teisel Bonne yeah I should probably not mix random rock songs and legends. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know what to make of this besides it added more hype to my hype. ;D protodudesrockmancorner.blogspot.com/2011/03/amazon-japan-preparing-for-dash-3-pre.html

That's great news! I mean, you can't always trust those Amazon pages, but it is still good news.
