A single Playstation, dear Feldinaut, is a small price to pay if it will even offer the chance to be able to play something with legends content in it without having to import another consol. I might be able to modify mine, successful or otherwise, in a couple of hours, if I work fast enough. Importing could take upwards of 24 hours. That’s nearly a day! I refuse to wait that long if it is not absolutely necessary.
As of now though, it doesn’t look as though anyone who voted wishes to import...

So, guys! The game is out! Hasn't anyone imported yet?  (See, I totally would, if this was as simple as a Playstation import, but it's not... And I don't think I have the funds to try it.) EDIT: Actually... Looking now, I don't think it's as impossible as I originally deemed it to be... So I might try it myself... I dunno, I'll keep you updated. Because I SERIOUSLY want to get some captures for this thing. But anyway, I seriously hope a U.S. release will be announced soon, as it looks like JUST the sort of game I enjoy (STRATEGY...*froths*) and it's been pretty much getting good reviews all around. |

Guys, I don't know if you would believe me, but I have the game right here...
I live all the way in Asia, in the Philippines to be exact, so I got the japanese version of the game here. If there are any questions, just ask me. I've already played 30+ hours of it. So far, here's what I know.
The first Megaman Legends character to appear is Tron and Servbot # 1. Tron's riding her Gustaff just like in Marvel vs Capcom 2 except its color pink. She meets with 2 of the characters from Soul Caliber (I'm not sure, one's a male samurai and another's a female ninja). Here's her inital list of attacks:
Gatling gun
Throw Rock (like in MvsC2)
Servbot Cannon (Her servbot fires a bazooka)
Lunch Rush (Her super attack)
Her attacks increase as she levels up. So far, these are her attacks on lvl 28...
Gatling gun
Bonne Bazooka
Servbot Cannon
Summon servbot (riding a drill like in MvsC2)
Rock throw
Lunch Ruch (Her super)
Observations on Tron: She has very powerful attacks, w/c is good. Plus she's one of the few characters that can heal other players. But she's very vunerable in close combat, as she only has long-ranged attacks.
Tron joins the party at Chapter 3 or 4. I can't remember exactly. Megaman and Roll joins you at Chapter 20. I'll post more as soon as someone replies to this.

Fire Emblem is one of the best "turn based" games of all time --- if you consider it turn-based at all.
And yes... legends characters means I'll play it once I get a PS2 from one of my friends for a little while. But I did select I need a PS2.

Yeah. Juno's one of the bosses at chapter 20, the same chapter you get Megaman and Roll. He uses his first body (the one with the detachable arms) with all the attacks he used in the first Legends game. But I've never seen his Special Move. He never used it.
Oh, and Namco x Capcom is a mix between turn-based style and arcade style games. The gameplay is Turn-based style (like Final Fantasy Tactics), but the battles are semi-arcade style. You choose your attacks and your timing is important to create aerial combos.

Actually I've heard that this game WILL NOT be coming to America, over at PMM. Import, import, import. -sigh-
If you wanna know the story though, as soon as PMM comes back, PMM's Fireman was covering it all. Not word for word, but he gave ya the jist.

When did he say he will post the storyline? I'm having a hard time understanding all these japanese dialogues.
Sidenote: One more reason to hate M.Bison
On chapter 40, Bison not only used an entire female battalion against you, he cloned almost ALL the females in your party. This included Lei-Lei, Shion, Chun-li, Juni, Juli, and of course...Tron to battle you. Meaning you'll have to kill Tron one of these days (sadly, the real Tron is not present at your party at this battle)

Sob... I don't wanna kill Tron... I mean, er, let's start that over. Sob... I'm still in mental shock that I'll never have a chance to play this game. I really wish I could import it. I really think it would probably be the best game I'd ever play... I've even thought about buying it over eBay in Japanese. I mean, I love cameos, I love Megaman, and I love a lot of other series that are in the game too. Furthermore, I really enjoy strategies as well. For now though, I'll just cry some more and watch over from America... watch the best game ever.  |

Would Japanese cd's work on the US PS2 model? It would be just a waste if you bought the game, yet it didn't work on your PS2.
But still, a true DASH fan wouldn't think twice about this. Megaman Legends characters have a BIG role in the plot of the story (as far as my knowledge in Japanese could interpret). You know why?
1. The main mode of transportation used in the game, Gesselschaft
2. The second main mode of transportation, Flutter
3. The 2nd to the last boss, Juno
4. Why Juno? Because he again tries to destroy the worls using EDEN
5. Where the last few chapters were held, Elysium
6. M. Bison cloned Tron....Juno cloned Megaman ^^
7. You get to see the Flutter stuck in a 3 meter creek ^^ Nice flying Roll...
8. Roll actually fighting!
9. At the final stage, who was the one who first stepped out of the Gesselschaft? Megaman, Roll, and Tron!
By the way, can anyone tell me how to rip music files from PS2 cd's? The BG music in this game is awesome! Especially the "Klonoa and Gantz Theme"

Elysium? It's a nice touch, but I shpose that only further makes the possibility of it being part of the storyine impossible. That's VERY cool though. I hope I can someday manage to come into owning it and playing, instead of just having all the sprites and a vague grasp of part of the story.

If I can only understand Japanese I already finished it now (nah just kiddin' I'm a pretty slow player) but honestly they're already selling Japanese versions here for 100 pesos or maybe 2 dollars for americans out there this game is really a must have game...for all people who have ps2s. Or for people who really liked MML.  |
