Excitement is growing in the community with the recent announcement of Namco x Capcom, a strategy RPG featuring approximately 200 characters, mixing the greats from each of the participating companies. Of those 200, we have already learned that Trigger, Roll, Tron and her Servbots will be included. How do you feel about the game?

It's certainly something to look forward to. I just hope they do make an American version, and it's not too watered down.

I just thought it was a neat concept to begin with, but the addition of Legends characters DEFINITELY makes it a must buy for me.

but the gameplay would be a fighter. Its an RPG with a fighter for gameplay, and I don't like RPG's that much anyway. I may like it, since certain game genres that I usually hate, and then a game out of it is really good to me.

Uh... What are you saying? That doesn't make much sense to me. I was under the impression that it was going to be a strategy type of RPG, which I LOOOOVE.

It is indeed a strategy RPG, but it seems that when you engage an enemy, instead of just attacking, you go into a screen. It’s similar to the Fire Emblem style from what I can see, except you actually have to input attack commands using the circle button and the D-pad. Here is a short article explaining the storyline rpgfan.com/news/2005/1115.htmlOh well, at least it proves the Legends is indeed Inafune’s favorite (my reasoning is they just asked who he wanted to be in it, and instead of volunteering Zero and co., he put Trigger and Tron and all the servbots in. It just shows how much he wanted to work with them again. And what’s more, they may finally start making servbot merchandise again )

"It has Legends characters, therefore I must have!" Namco and Capcom/Legends characters makes for an awesome sounding game, however... An RPG with such a weird cross between characters could be... o.o However, the fact that the characters are awesome could make it amazing. But in any case, Legends characters in something new makes it all worth it.

It's great to see Trigger and Roll somewhere besides Internet shops. I KNOW alot of people are happy about this. Anyway, I LOVE RPG's. I have Final Fantasies 8 to X-2, and I have Dark Cloud 1 & 2. And besides, Legends plays like an RPG too, so I MUST HAVE NAMCO x CAPCOM!
