Alright, I'm wondering how Roll can fight these people, does she crash the flutter into them? I think she uses the Shining Laser, too. I think I read that at PMM.

I saw the trailer... I recognized ZERO Namco characters and ALL of the Capcom characters... No idea what that says about me. Unless they give Pac-Man a suit of armor ;D, I don't see how Namco could be in this.

Well, from what I could tell from the movie, some chars attack in teams. Hence why Roll and MM are standing together (And you can see other chars teaming up as well). My guess is either Roll cheers him on which increases his attack power or she has the ability to repair him, though it looks like she was cheering in the clip. Or maybe she allows him to use special weapons such as the shining laser. Either way, we’ll find out. And yes, there are Namco chars in the clip. What Feldi was saying was she didn’t recognize any, not that there weren't any. The chars from Xenosaga (Shion, MOMO, and KOS-MOS. They belong to Monolith, and Monolith is part of Namco) are there in the first part and various Soul Calibur chars appear (Mitsurugi, Taki, and Cassandra). There are plenty of Namco chars throughout the clip. EDIT: Here’s a list of the chars from the preview. Page 1 Page 2And that’s the main site for the game. It’s being developed by Monolith and was originally a Namco only project so I don’t know if Capcom has a site. A reference to MML maybe?

Eh, figured I’d make some sort of update here (even though it’s just a poll, it kind of serves as the discussion thread for the game… Eh, if I’m wrong then… I’m wrong). Anyways, SD and fab have updated their sites with several new screens from this site which shows several new details (And, of course, you can go to... Well, now that fab’s got the pic section updated I’ll redirect you there instead. Click). First up is that the servbots finally make their appearances. I know we’ve all been waiting for that, and their attack is certainly fitting. Another thing is that the Gesselschaft has taken to the skies once more. Its exact purpose is unknown, but it’s good to see the ol’ bloated Teisel fish again. There’s also a nice close up of Juno along with Roll and MM, and true to form, Juno still hasn’t stopped smiling. One very interesting thing that SIMS pointed out is that, displayed prominently behind the game’s box art logo, is none other than MM and Roll. This certainly raises hope that they’ll be central characters in the storyline where around 200 others roam. Now if only Teisel would show up… and no signs of Yuna or Sera either... not even disco Data. Me ~ It's Juno, Juno… uh… Juno… I was never good at singing…

I keep telling myself that I don't want a game just because it has Legends characters in it, but I can't help it any longer, I want to play the game so bad, RPG or not, it no longer matters, ALL legends fans should by this game, no matter there preferences. Data probably isn't an important character in the game, but I'm sure he'll show up. I completely didn't care about this game about... 3 hours ago, now I can't wait for it, Talk about pulling a John Kerry. ;D This is my 800th post, I'm a double Hanmuru doll .

Holy crap. I saw that one shot of Tron talking to, uh...MYSTERIOUS NAMCO CHICK and was instantly reminded of MoTB with its style of cutscenes, using just the character art and text. I wonder if the Namco artists were familiar with the game or if that pose being so similar is just a coincidence? Either way, it made me chuckle.

They should rename this game The Return of Juno, I think it would sell better don't you? Oh man, I can't believe the better part of that crazy cast is coming back at last. We should really consider using this as a spring board for MLA!, but I get to that later... ;D Yes!!! :-*Juno! Juno! >:(Imperium, Enormis- >:(Validus, Informis- :-*Juno! Juno! (sung like an ancient chant) I feel better. Hey Feldinaut, I think that MML is a King among RPG's don't you . Let Paragon and Roll.exe have their bottles someday they're going to realize that not all games are RPG's or should be directly compared to RPG's and their little worlds are going to come to an end, so give a little. Not that you care, of course... o.0... right? Isometric RPG's msut never, ever be discussed, or the ancient ones listed in The Book of Dead Names will arise once more from their miillions of years of slumber, and devour all of mankind like the tastiest and most utterly delectable of all possible morsals. I see someone's been reading his Necronomicon. That's a good Schmendrick.

The Return of Juno would instantly gravitate all legends fans from all corners of the universe with the power of a small star. However, that doesn't amount to a whole lot, and they need to market this.
Odd though, that they should put Roll and Trigger in such a dominant position on the cover. This may be more legends oriented then I had first contemplated. o.o

I vote "It has Legends characters, therefore I must have!" because I think this is Mega Man Trigger's big comeback. Now, if I could only get a PS2 (or Xbox, which ever it comes out on) and find a place to put my N64 in.

Well, with emulators you could almost throw out your n64, but i don't want to get banned by promoting emulation so i'll shutup...
There is no joke here, Capcom did this on purpose. A legends charactor on the front cover of a game with 200 charactors? The only refrence on the flash megaman website was a servbot. Somtimes i don't understand game developers...
Wait a second... I'M a game developer...
...
Yeah, Somtimes i don't understand game developers...

I wish it had all the big legends characters, oh and marvel characters. Imagine that!!!
Hulk vs Bon Bonne
Now that would give it more purpose to be a must have besides MM, Tron, Roll, and Juno. But sadly it just a dream[for now]. I wonder, does any body else think this could be the best game involved with legends?
Man, Tron and Juno look a lot younger.

It's Namco x Capcom not Marvel x Namco x Capcom... I somehow doubt that the storyline has anything to do with the Legends series, and it's nothing more than a cameo, but it most certainly does look very interesting. I doubt that it will be better than Legends 2 though. I'm still waiting for them so say Yuna and Sera are in it before I start completely celebrating and praising the game... Come on, Capcom... or Namco... or whoever's in charge of the characters who get put in it(probably Capcom).

Actually, Monolith Soft (You know, those guys from Square… They were the team that made games like Xenogears…) is producing most of the game. As I said, it was originally a Namco project that Monolith was working on. In fact, I checked Capcom’s JP site and they have nothing about NxC. Actually, I checked all of the divisions of Capcom (Even the oft forgotten KoKo-Capcom… it’s the Korean division…). My guess is they just got Inafune and several other Capcom producers to pick and help out with the Capcom side as Capcom itself seems rather uninterested. Actually, upon checking some sources, Namco only asked for Capcom’s permission to use chars. Capcom has nothing to do with actual development (Keiji Inafune is participating as are some Capcom employees, but not the entire company). Production – Monolith Soft Writer/Director - Souichirou Morizumi Producer - Kouji Inutsani Anime sequences - Production I.G. Character design - Takuji Kawano Publisher - Namco Still, I’m hoping Yuna will make it too, along with Teisel. Both of them are mysteriously absent… My only worry is the voice acting. I have to wonder if they can assemble the old team and get a good voice for MM… I just don’t know how it’d be to see someone else doing Teisel’s voice, though I guess he may not be there anyway. As for the storyline, it has little to nothing to do with any previous storyline. Basically… The point is that MM and Roll will be central chars in this story. Even though Capcom isn’t taking a major role in development, we can expect them to make MM and Roll central chars since they are the signature Capcom characters, be they the Legends version or not. Really, it’s more like Namco x Keiji Inafune seeing as Capcom isn’t doing much of anything in the development process, which isn’t so bad as Capcom is more about money than good games anyway and Inafune actually cares about his creations. As for the game, I have more info on how the battle system works. Basically, you have a certain amount of AP to spend on each turn (10 points = one turn). Every action—walking (1AP), attacking (3AP) etc—costs a certain amount of AP and you have to regain AP before you can continue taking actions. It’s not a typical strategy style, but who knows. I’ve played games which utilize a similar style and it worked nicely. There are also options that allow your chars to gang up on one enemy, or vice versa. It’s not just having two chars to join up; it’s more like getting a lot of chars in a certain formation and then rushing an enemy. You can browse through several pages of a magazine special here. Another nice piece of info is that a special soundtrack is being offered for people who pre-order the game. I don’t know if they’ll do this for the American release as a stateside release hasn’t even been announced yet (The May release date is for Japan… poor SD thinks it’s the same date for the US too… unless he meant he was planning on ordering it from Japan. Eh, I don’t know). And don’t worry that Capcom isn’t taking a major role. Keiji Inafune, the man behind Legends, is taking a good sized role as a sort of ambassador from Capcom. He’ll be working on the game so we needn’t worry about our beloved Legends chars too much. If anything, we should be happy because if Capcom took the helm we’d have the BN chars and Zero instead of Juno… and those other Legend chars.

Either way, there will be legends characters in them. And anime sequences. And legends characters in anime sequences. Multiply that by the 4 characters we know are appearing in the game, and 40 servbots, and you get 132 good reasons to buy the game. Besides that, the story sounds pretty good in its own rights. It stinks of Kingdom Hearts, where you had to travel to different worlds and discover the area from which the heartless were spawning. Of course, that was a pretty good stink. Lots of characters, a variable storyline. Perhaps we can expect something similar to that. I've never heard of any games that use that kind of battle mechanic though. But then, I don't play that many games, so what would I know. It’s definitely not something I would have expected upon viewing the screenshots and trailer. And I never even gave a thought to the voice actors they would use. Surely it hasn’t been that long since MML2; I’m sure they can hunt down the old cast. Unless they died. They didn’t die, did they? Also, it seems that no one has voiced any concerns over the fate of Glyde or Lex. Oh well, we didn’t like them that much anyway, right?
