You didn't recognize the comment as Capcom's Legends 3 Cancellation notice with all of the words changed? Hah! NOPE.Admittedly, I could probably get around to memorizing it a bit better since the anguish from the origin of the letter has passed. Changing the name variables for the system and game did kinda throw me off, but I remember; although it's hazy. It'd be amusing if you pasted it into anything else MM Capcom related that comes along that strikes as mediocre or less. They're bound to read it sooner or later, right?

Poh
That's "SketchMan3". Capital S, capital M and the number 3. It's official (nicknames are ok, though)

I was reading over The Mega Man Network's impressions of this game and happened to glance down at a passionate but well-mannered comment on there. After reading it, I looked to see who it was from. Turns out it was Dashe. Ha-ha. Might as well link you all to that. That's actually what prompted me to come back here. While I did recognize it (I will never forgot those opening lines), I do not have it memorized, as my Megaman fandom is spread out through the entire franchise (except for ZX and SF due to not having played any of those games), I am not a masochist, and ain't nobody got time fuhdat

It's a good thing you did come back. This place was getting dull. People coming back tends to liven it up. Maybe I should plagiarize Capcom on TMMN more often. So you and everyone else should be glad someone out there has the time and willpower to memorize that notification.

Yeah, I like having more people on here to talk to, even if I don't usually have much to say about Legends.

Rockman Xover has been recreated in Flash primarily as a point to prove how effortless it was to originally create. I... don't know what to say. I find the worst part to be that there's no method to dodge Storm Eagle. At any rate, that's there for anybody to try out. Usually I'd say "Have fun!", but... my throat's sore. *cough cough*

The punchline is it's not a joke; that's really what it's like. Yikes. I was going to say how impressive it is that they could throw together that whole thing in less than 24 hours, but then I realized how little there is going on. And it's only the one stage. Alas. I'm all for giving Capcom some benefit of a doubt, but I can't really come up with any justification for it here. I'd like to point out that this is an imitation build of the demo. The final game is, naturally, going to have more than one stage (one would hope). And it has Battle Cards, or something. And some other recently-highlighted features. (I thought the armors were cool.) But it's all trivial if this is the core gameplay. Best thing I can say is I'm not disappointed by this news, because I wasn't expecting anything better from the moment I heard about this game.

That autoplay function was highly convenient. I'd like to have that on every game I own. Not. I bet in real life you get to pay for autoplay and skip.

That's the funniest thing ever. I'm glad Capcom took 24 hours out of their year for the MM 25th anniversary!

Honestly, someone asked me about this game a few days ago, and I realized that Capcom has been doing these kind of low budget games for mobile devices for years. Only issue now is we're not getting the "good games" that would allow us to otherwise ignore these kind of titles anymore.

Well they seemed to make a big deal about it too. Like 'LOOK AT THIS GREAT GAME WE MADE FOR YOU!"

After playing that flash game...wow. Not gonna lie, it was pretty amusing to play through as a NG game, but as a game that Capcom's promoting it could be so much better. I really hope that Capcom's got more in store for MM's 25th than this, because this is a little more than disappointing. :24: Honestly, someone asked me about this game a few days ago, and I realized that Capcom has been doing these kind of low budget games for mobile devices for years. Main reason that this game is getting bad reception is that Capcom's parading it around as their 25th Anniversary title. This is after the fact that we've had 2 consecutive MM games cancelled, so at this point it looks as if Capcom just doesn't care.

Main reason that this game is getting bad reception is that Capcom's parading it around as their 25th Anniversary title. A title, or THE title? Big difference there, and I'm thinking it's just the former. Except that's not the only thing getting the "25th Anniversary" label slapped onto it, even if two of the few remix albums are repackaged from the 20th Anniversary ones. The way I think of it is that this series a franchise, and therefore its existence is not limited to games (and face it, thinking otherwise would make it a ridiculous double standard, thus making everyone here a hypocrite). While I am not saying Xover is a good thing as-is, I am given the impression that the majority is bashing it on the grounds that it is being judged on the same level as the high-end games such as the early X Series.

The music CDs are actually new products, unless I'm misinterpreting what you mean by repackaging. And I'm more or less judging X Over for what it is, a low budget title that's trying to be a cash grab instead of a quality title, and I base that opinion off of what I have seen from it so far.
