Dunno why but "Casquet" has some... French feeling on it don't you think?
By the way your Roll seems to need a dramatic brush in her hair XD

@ Megatuga: The idea of being flexible with name translations made that option available, as that was the spelling used in DASH 2's PSP manual. And yeah, the idea of making the names sound more European is what I am aiming for.
But French? I... like it.
And dramatic brush, as in the hair's not big enough, or what?

Seriously, I'm Portuguese (and I hate french language but I recall a bit) and that sounds as French as everything.
And what I meant is that the hair is HUGE... but then again it's just like Roll, and in the games her hair does not look that big... proabbly due to the playstation or something... it might be me.

@ Megatuga: Her hair is pretty big and spiking outwards, even in the official art. Also, it gives her more contrast to other characters (while Rock's hair spikes mostly to one side and upwards, Roll's hair spikes downwards).
Alternately by taking into account of her eye color, she's secretly a Super Saiya-jin.

@ Truner: I think I might just do that some time. Update: I have found myself being more creative with the basic screen tones; mixing photoshop effects while retaining their presence.

@ MegaTuga: Or is it? Minor Update: In between pages and sometimes in-story, I would be adding brief technical files for technologies to explain things more thoroughly. This is done partially for showing my working on my own interpretation of the story, but also to appease my personal interest for mechanics. Something like this, for instance: Edit: Added some new info. I am sure that those of you who played the first game remember the "Shield" system: I have given it my personal interpretation: as an energy-driven buffer against incoming projectiles. It serves its function by invoking an equal opposing kinetic force towards the attack the moment it detects sudden incoming forces which exceeds a certain magnitude (as such, the 'shield' also guards the wearer against falls). For the Shield system to work, a constant energy input is required; upon activation, energy consumption spikes momentarily. Shielding against particularly large impacts may also require a recovery time, which leaves the wearer more vulnerable until the shielding recharges. Because of this mechanism's energy consumption rate, it is powered separately from the Digouter Suit's main supply by using cartridges (pretty much like batteries). This is done to prevent risk of leaving a Digouter immobile due to power loss. Instead of 'repairing' the Shield when it is downed, its energy source is replenished by ejecting and replacing the cartridge. This design has the cartridge located in the side of the Buster (arm), allowing easy access for the wearer (in this case, Rock). However, the Shield system is not perfect; an incoming impact can still harm the wearer of the suit if strong enough.

Sicne I saw the GoGo! DASH manga I've always loved the idea of slots for chips which are used as buster parts... I don't think they said ingame that the buster parts were mere chips, but I like the idea.

Zakobons dropping from the ceiling and grappling you with their legs? I approve! Is Rock going to pummle those zakobons to death with the refractor? Well, atleast it will do more than just sit in his inventory.

UPDATE: Page 16! I don't have much to say on this, asides from being able to go easier on tones. As I guessed, the tones (or lack thereof) actually helps retain the page and panel's focus.

... Rock just did something awesome.
He made a home-run (most likely will do a solo touchdown later) Then made three Riverboats get expelled with 3 strikes! ...
Didn't had nothing interesting to say XD

Update: Dashe has been giving me disturbing imagery of slow progress, so this week is double time!
