I felt a bit sorry for the poor Hanmuru Doll as it looked as it would have a serious case of the migraines. Looking forward to see what shall happen next.

@ Rockman Striker & Steffie: For now, all I can say is that I have a good reason for changing Hanmuru Doll's design for this comic (which isn't just superficial)... First of all, I assure everyone that an update will take place this week on-schedule. I also have a small side announcement to make as well (for those who have missed it), but I would like the rest before doing so (along with the update). As a bit of filler (in case an update was expected from this post): Around the time I was working on the upcoming page, I decided to have a second go at redrawing one of the sub-par panels from an earlier page which has bugged me for some time:

@ Truner: Yeah, I thought as much. I didn't really know how to draw bottom-up angles back then. Update (page 40): I have always wanted to reinterpret this part of the game to get rid of that "Hanmuru Doll squeezes through tight space in pursuit" issue (even though I am sure not many people really minded anyway). So now in this page, the extra design change I made reveals itself, including why I made the "jaw" part larger and bulkier than the original... For those who have missed the iscribble announcement, the test site for RMDL has gone live, hopefully with new content soon. Usabaility-wise, I am still familiarizing myself with Javascript (among other things), and any comments/criticism are welcome as always.

I like the color scheme on the site. You may want to include an extra set of buttons so it looks like: << < (drop-down page select) > >> That way you can use the outermost arrows to skip to the first page and the latest page and the innermost ones to go back and forth by one page each. Otherwise, it looks solid so far. And the comic is brilliant as always. Keep it up!

Wow, these last few comics I've missed are great. I like your reinterpretation of how the Hanmuru doll gets outside, he's awfully more aggressive and I'm sure he won't just look upon the Flutter in awe this time. Out of all the pages so far I like the Hanmuru Doll head explosion the most.

@ Loken: Yeah, he sure is more intimidating in this. Though by the time Rock encounters the next Hanmuru Dolls, he would probably be powerful enough to destroy them outright without having this happening again, hah! @ Dashe: Thanks again for the suggestions and site testing earlier this week. Should this project continue, it would definetly help to have something for navigating between chapters (the code is ready, but I don't think I need it right now). Update: It's not over yet; H.Doll is certainly back for more, even if it means getting destroyed along with this tower's intruder.

I love that silhouette, it's insanely creepy. Rock's shoulder looks cool that way, and more thin... When did it broke?

I would say in the comic with the massive explosion. I'll say this again, HF your Hanmuru Doll is awesome!

@ Rockman Striker: It wasn't very clear, but he took damage when crashing into the floor left shoulder first. It was shown clearer (but less dramatic) in the original draft, but upon revision, I felt that it implied enough information; without the shield, Rock's armor will gradually wear down. @ Loken: Well at least now I'm assured that this is the direction you want unlike many months ago *coughFabulousZakoboncough*. I also decided to have a little bit of fun with this week's draft: I don't think I like where this is going...

I like the sense I had received that MegaMan is between a rock and a hard place at the moment. The Hanmuru Doll is still intimidating, despite being badly damaged.
That draft made me laugh. Evangelion in my Legends? Guess it's more likely than you think.

The Hanmuru in HF's avatar looks pretty chunked, scary, and raging. I absolutely love it. "fABulous" Zakobon? You aren't referencing the pretty-pony-cutesy-wootsy-rainbow Zakobons, are you? That was the best they've looked in AGES! I still say you should color them in rainbow-style, and add eyelashes. Me and Dashe would love 'em.

@ Steffie: I am not going to deny that I added Hanmuru Doll's rampage as a little nod to it. @ Mikey: But I already did here, didn't I? Update: In between pages and during times I can't work on the drawing work itself, I find myself making pages of descriptions of the small details in an attempt to make the story have a reason for everything. Granted that the original source (DASH/Legends) story has its own established internal logic that can equate to an interactive cartoon, it is not that hard to come up with something, but still needs lots of research on seemingly trivial information to make everything fit together nicely. I might start putting up these notes, should the story go on.

This week's page looks great. Love the little cracks on both MegaMan's armour as well as the Hanmuru Doll's body. Also like the use of the speed-lines and the special sound effects.

...Riiight. I had completely forgotten about that thread; you haven't posted anything in there in a while! Anyway, I can't help but notice the avatar. I'm so gonna love getting to look at COLOR! Quick question though, would having color added to the comic affect the speed of production at all? Or would it still remain fairly consistent with Wednesday updates?

I believe he switched to black and white in the first place to save time.
