@ Dashe: I would greatly appreciate it, though I'm sure that would be when (at the very least) this arc is complete. @ Rockman Striker: I would actually have to mention it at some point as part of the credits. Assuming the format is in volumes, it means right at the end of several (4-5) chapters. Update: BRACE FOR EXPLOSION

Whoa boy this is awesome, Hanmuru Doll is going to feel that in the morning, if he survives. ;D
Nice work HF this comic is looking great.

I bet everyone here always wanted to jump in Hanmuru's arm, climb on it and shoot straight in the head.
Your comic shows actually what I always wanted to do in the game, amazing as always!

Whoo, MegaMan had done the one thing I really wished I could've done in the game. I bet the Hanmuru Doll would wonder what on Terra had hit him.

As always, thanks for the feedback everyone. @ Rockman Striker: I only noticed it now, but such a feat can work like BioHazard 4's Action-Commands (e.g. Leon climbing onto a giant enemy to slash at its weak point with a knife). Update: I might end up skipping coming Wednesday because of this, but I might as well post the fun part involving stuff blowing up.

Congrats, now that you've gotten the Hanmuru Doll out of the way, how many pages are left in the arc?

Is the Hanmuru Doll finished? We haven't even gotten to the part where the smoke clears! Anyway, since so far, all of this comic outlined the dig-outers, I think HF might have to go further into the story to outline his spoof of the "pirates", mainly because it's just not Legends without them, eh. I can totally see HF introducing The Bonnes after the Flutter flies away from the tower, because they're basically flying to Kattelox during Rock's endeavor anyway. He's been doing a good job so far with timely updates, so I wouldn't blame him if he were to take a break before the pirates' introduction.

I'd actually recommend a serious break after the tutorial wraps up, since it's the only part of the entire game that can be told as a self-contained story. Comic artists tend to drop off the face of the earth by nature, and once HF starts in with the Flutter's engine trouble, the entire project will have loose ends that aren't going to be resolvable until the end of Legends 1. During that break though, I'd highly recommend HF to seriously evaluate if he could still take on the entire game with some level of consistency to the end. If it's too much on the current schedule, would it be possible to increase the time between comics to two weeks, which would provide more time between pages and more of an opportunity to pad your updates with extra pages, in the event of a very busy week, or exams? If your current schedule is working, and you do wish to continue, I recommend getting about 10-15 buffer pages done in advance, before finals, and actually posting the introduction to the second arc during your final exams so you come out of your exams to a lot of really nice comments from everyone here for instant motivation. And if you don't feel that you can commit to finishing off the entire game in edgy comic form, it'd probably be best to just leave it at the tutorial, since it's self-contained, and draw pictures of the Bonnes on your own time.

I love the effects you had used to show that the Hanmuru Doll had been destroyed.

@ Mikey & Dashe: While a long break (to stock on the release buffer) will be helpful for me to adjust to new schedule, I will not be ceasing the comic just like that. To me, the comic still has the objective of showing an alternate adaptation to the first game and on a personal level, to continuously test my drawing abilities. I acknowledge the drawbacks of this tardy approach, but I cannot ignore that I have benefitted from this amount of practice. In a way, let me satisfy my own motives and continue working on this. Update: Prior to creating the actual pages of the comic, I have self-enforced a format for consistency purposes. However, I have started breaking this rule of mine here and there to allow more ways to express the scenes. Also the increased use of gradients only possible with CG instead of sticking to screen tones alone; I just decided: "screw it, if it looks good, it's here to stay". Also, I will be taking a break next week as I need the time to prepare some things for the upcoming Comic-con. NEXT TIME_

"Screw it, if it looks good it's here to stay" is a good policy to adopt. Usually most of us won't notice unless you point it out anyway. I understand your perspective and admire your drive to improve. In that case, you may want to work on your speed and shoot for a six-day creation period to gradually tank up on release buffer while maintaining a consistent Wednesday release schedule. This wouldn't dig in too much to what you have, but after seven weeks you'll have an extra page, plus whatever you can crank out on a really good day. I can guarantee you that something will come up in the near future that will set you back enough to overwhelm you more than you are anticipating, and you'll be really glad you had something in reserve to fall back on. Best of luck at the comic con!

I'm glad to hear that you will be continuing the project.
Love the latest page. I have a funny feeling that something will happen.

Instead of squeezing through the narrow space like Han did in the original game, I'm honestly hoping that it completely obliterates it in pursuit. So close... Almost there... Light! And once that's out of the way, we hopefully get a sneak peek at the Bonnes. I wonder if he'll have the same scar that he had in your birthday present to Dashe... Heh.

@ Dashe: Considering how much there is to cover, I might experiment with production alternatives for a bit during the break. I would also need the practice and time to do redesigns too; it's not like I have drawn everything from the first game and beyond. @ Mikey: The Bonnes wouldn't be in the prologue, and suddenly shifting focus without enough of a time lag would be a rough transition. Update: 3 weeks in between updates this time, hopefully this won't happen again now that I have a desk to work on. Now to deviate from the original plot again... I have decided to post this a few hours earlier than usual (it is Wednesday here anyway).
