While I technically watched an episode or two on TV- like Dexter's Lab, still a great show after all this time!- I'll focus here on the animation I recently saw, The Adventures of Tintin. The plot is well-paced, with clever twists and superb action sequences; the hero relationship between Tintin and Haddock was well-balanced; neither one outshone the other with both getting appropriate screen time and roles in the story. The villain was from the comic books, though there he was a minor villain; in the film, his role is expanded, yet it's in a way that's fitting and overall very clever. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this movie. If you have the chance, go see it! ;D
...Huh. Both of those shows have at least somewhat red-headed protagonists. Funny coincidence. `~`

Malco's Screenvision is awesome. Baby, it's cold outside! 'Nuff said. Alvin & the Chipmunks: ChipwreckedOkay, so following the events of the first two movies, there's a 3rd munk movie, making the story a trilogy! The Chipmunks (including the Chipettes, of course) are planning to sing at the International Music Awards in a few days, and are traveling in style via Luxury Ocean Liner. But, we all know how Alvin is, and things are never that easy! After getting in trouble multiple times on board, Alvin actually manages to ruin the trip for the entire group, getting them stranded on a nearby island. If you plan on watching this movie, prepare yourself for Pelican men, Spider bites that induce awesome french personalities, Responsibility Imbalances, Loads of competitive "Boy vs Girl", romance (kinda), and much more! I enjoyed every second of this movie from the start, and it still retains the charm that the first two movies did. I do wonder if the munks ever finished school... Ah well. The movie gets a 10/10 from me.

Freakazoid: I remembered watching this series when I was younger with my sister, yet I didn't really catch many of the jokes. But, after I bought the DVDs and watched the episodes again; I found myself enjoying the show a lot more as I understood the jokes. I also love Freakazoid's personality and Dexter's.

Pokemon: Destiny DeoxysPretty interesting, to say the least. I know I mentioned 3D modeling being tinkered with in my review of Pokemon Heroes, but they went all out in this one. The main plot is a high-tech city where your passport gets you just about anything, seemingly for free; the sidewalks automatically move forward with two different speeds like a conveyer belt, etc. Supposedly, it's the city that wants to be "set in the future", so the whole city is high tech and just plain awesome. The main conflict is that four years previously, a meteorite crashed into the south pole?, and Deoxys (purple gem) emerges from it, and begins examining a nearby green gem. However, as the meteorite fell, Rayquaza took notice, came down, and began attacking Deoxys, which was devastating for a nearby village. Rayquaza defeats Deoxys, who disintegrates back into the purple gem, which falls into the ocean. Rayquaza returns to the ozone layer, and a nearby professor takes the green gem. The plot then advances four years to the high-tech city mentioned previously. The professor invents a laser that will regenerate Green-gem Deoxys, but lacks the power for the laser to hit the gem with a constant beam of energy. Not long after the Professor fails the first time, Purple-gem Deoxys reappears, and begins causing odd events and trouble throughout the city. What are its motives? What does it want? Eventually, it all becomes clear... Although they made the plot rather difficult to explain and confusing at times, the movie itself is nice. Especially since Ash doesn't come all that close to dying at all. What a shocker. I give it a 9/10. Pretty good stuff.

Sonic: Man of the Year: I found this to be Hilarious in Hindsight. If the humans can mistake Eggman-in-a-Sonic-suit as Sonic, that explains why they had mistaken Shadow for the Blue Blur in Sonic Adventure 2.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I had recently watched A Royal Canterlot Wedding part 1 & 2. it really did live up to the hype. Princess Cadence/ Cadance is a wondeful character, as well as Shining Armor.
Looking forward to Season 3 when it airs.

I had Boomerang on the other day, and I watched both The Smurfs and The Snorks while they were on. The former holds up very well to this day and the other was a decently done knockoff that goes in its own direction.
Edit on 5/26: I've also been getting into Adventure Time on Cartoon Network since they had a marathon of it on today. It's straight up sensible nonsense with good plots with random or strange bits thrown in to make the show be serious or silly depending on the episode. I think I might like this show.

I had recently watched the DC Nation shorts.
Here's my thoughts:
Here's a list of my thoughts of the various DC Nation series:
Superman of Tokyo: Find this to be a bit weird, yet funny. Would like to see what would happen next to Kenta.
World's Funnest: I felt lukewarm for the three shorts I had seen so far.
Super Best Friends Forever: These are fun shorts. One of the things that I like would be the fact that Batgirl, Wonder Girl and Supergirl all have different body shapes, which is refreshing.
Short 1: Got to love how Wonder Girl caved in and agreed to having a joyride in Wonder Woman's invisible jet. Guess burritos are more important than Diana going to be very mad.
Short 2: Found Barb to be very cute. Like Poison Ivy's design.
Short 3: Proof that Ma Kent is much stronger than kryptonite. I also find it humorous how Supergirl and Superman fought like siblings.
New Teen Titans: They felt a lot like a continuation of the Teen Titans animated series.
Turn Back the Clock: Great shout-outs. Like the shout-out to Titans: Scissors, Paper, Stone.
The latest Teen Titans is great. Got to love that they finally explained what had happened to Blackfire. It even had a bit of twisted humor after Blackfire's babies attacked her and the message "Happy Mother's Day" popped up ^^;
Plastic Man: I love all the shorts so far. Trying to get used to his legs also being red, instead of the same colour of his skin like in the comics and Batman: The Brave & The Brave.
MAD: Found Teen Titanic to be the funniest out of them all.
Animal Man: Although different to the comic series, I find these shorts to be humorous. It's made more hysterical when Buddy acted so serious the entire time.
So far, I highly enjoy them. Looking forward to more of these shorts.

Watched Toy Story. I would've killed Buzz Lightyear if he didn't stop talking about saving the universe and all that stuff.
It had several of funny moments with Woody and Buzz arguing, which made up most of the movie.

Tangled: I finally got around to buying the DVD. It's a wonderful tale. A great story and I love Rapunzel's personality.
How to Train Your Dragon: A great movie. Love the relationship between Hiccup and Toothless. Apparently there will be a sequel.
Superman vs. the Elite: While a good movie, I am a bit confused that in the beginning of the movie, the world criticized Superman for not murdering villains, yet changed their tune at the end when SPOILER; it seems as if Supes had killed most of the Elite. It's otherwise a great movie.

Re-watching Zeta Gundam for the first time in several years, only to be reminded why it is one of the best entries (if not THE BEST) in the Gundam Series.
As the direct sequel to First Gundam production-wise, it brings up a lot of the more ambiguous points raised in the first series, as well as a different viewpoint of the seemingly overzealous former antagonists. In addition to having lots of complex (yet believably realistic) transformations of machines into different forms (such as humanoids to aircraft and vice versa), the compilation of these qualities made into an animation does not really give off the vibe of a weekly toy commercial (which many robot shows are guilty of), but of a war drama*.
* Though if we're talking about the best war drama story, I would recommend either War in the Pocket or The 08th MS Team

Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice I was boredly flipping through channels when I suddenly see Cartoon Network premiering a Pokémon movie, so out of pure curiosity, I flipped over, and was delighted to see something new; a movie starring Keldeo! It was somewhat in the middle of the movie, so I had no real clue of what was going on, but it replayed more than once throughout the day, so that gave me a chance to make some sense of it. I think the storyline's nice, since it teaches the lesson of 'Don't run away from your fears' in a general sense. As a fun little trivia fact, it's the first movie that lacks Team Rocket from having any speaking roles, as interesting as that is. I think another reason I liked this movie as much as I did is because the voice of Keldeo is played by Vic, who I quickly recognized as one of Edward Elric's English Dub Voice Actors from The Fullmetal Alchemist Anime. ...So yeah. I give it a solid :E0: :E0: :E0: :E0: :E0: / 5 refractors. Even though it lacked any real involvement with Team Rocket, at least they gave the team the respect they deserved and didn't use them as tiring comic relief & victims of a legendary pokemon's wrath such as the case of the Giratina and Latios & Latias movie. They're as professional and mysterious as ever... What could they be up to now? Oh yeah and also, Ash didn't die and come back from the dead. Points for that too. Unfortunately, before I knew it, I was throwing together a whole semi-amusing storyline summary before my very eyes, and it'd be a sssssssssssssshhhhhame if it weren't to get posted. Not a fan of storylines? Too bad! Storyline SPOILER; Essentially, Keldeo's training under Virizion, Cobalion, and Terrakion to become a "Sword of Justice". As far as I can tell, being a "Sword of Justice" is defined as when the pokémon can use Sacred Sword, which Keldeo can't even do in its ordinary state. Somehow, Keldeo's convinced that defeating Kyurem will allow him to use the 'Power of the Sword', and he slips off without the trio noticing, to begin an unwinnable fight [purely because he's not ready]. Keldeo arrives at Kyurem's 'Full Court,' and declares that he is a Sword of Justice and that he challenges Kyurem to a battle. Around this point, the trio notices that Keldeo's missing, and head over to Kyurem's Court to watch the battle unfold. Ultimately, Keldeo gets scared and hesitant, causing Kyurem to get the upper hand. With a brutal Shadow Claw, Kyurem snaps half of Keldeo's horn off. Terrakion then tries to intervene, but that causes Kyurem to freeze him, along with Cobalion and Virizion, to prevent interference. This in turn, causes Keldeo to flee out of fear, and Kyurem turns even more furious, stating in a low tone that "This battle's not over..."
Meanwhile, Ash and co. are riding on a train. The train stops for a few minutes so the team can buy some lunch, and Keldeo, still fleeing and badly injured, jumps on the train's roof just before it leaves. Pikachu hears Keldeo collapse on the roof as the train picks up to full speed, and the group go up to see Keldeo, unconscious. As they approach, Keldeo wakes and hops to its feet in angst stating that "Kyurem is coming!" Without skipping a beat, Kyurem appears on the train car in front of them, and begins attacking without saying a word. The group flees to the last car of the train and prepare for the worst until a tunnel of all things, forces Kyurem to jump off of the train at the last possible second before it could unleash its attack. By this time, Keldeo passes out again.
At the pokemon center, as Keldeo's being treated, Ash and co. learn more about The Swords of Justice and Keldeo itself, thanks to Nurse Joy. Once Keldeo's awake, they get acquainted, and Keldeo fills them in on what happened. Ash and the group agree to help Keldeo save The Swords of Justice at that point. After they eat lunch and Iris explains that Kyurem's the strongest dragon-type pokemon because it can transform into White & Black Kyurem and thereby weild the power of Zekrom and Reshiram of its own accord... /me trollfaces., Kyurem appears and sends a group of Cryogonal after the group and pursues them as well, still after Keldeo.
The group manage to lose Kyurem and the Cryogonal long enough to form a plan. Iris and Cilan [The Misty & Brock 'traveling companion' replacements] attempt to distract Kyurem & his lackeys by taking off in two different directions in two different vehicles, causing Keldeo to reflect to himself about their bravery. Since Kyurem's not after Iris or Cilan, neither of them come to any harm [much to our dismay, amirite?], and Ash & Keldeo make it to the outskirts of Kyurem's Full Court. Unfortunately, they arrived just in time to see Kyurem fly in first and, frustrated as ever, Kyurem roars from inside of his court, and it reverberates straight to Keldeo, whose eyes grow wide from fear, as he recalls how his horn got snapped off.
Ash, unaffected by the roar, heads towards the entrance to the Court, but stops when he realizes Keldeo isn't following. Keldeo, having lost all confidence, confesses to Ash that he lied to Kyurem when he said he was a Sword of Justice, and realizes that's why Kyurem was so angry. Ash boldly declares that he'll handle it himself, and runs straight towards the court, leaving a speechless & paralyzed Keldeo behind.
Uncannily, Kyurem isn't present in the center of the court. Ash spots the Frozen Swords of Justice on the lower balcony, heads over, and begins having Pikachu [with Iron Tail], Pignite [with Flamethrower], and Boldore [with Rock Smash] to begin breaking up the ice. He even grabs a metal pole off of the ground and begins whacking at the ice himself... Every little bit helps, I guess. Kyurem then appears from a back room, angry that Ash is in his court, stating that "This is no place for a human... Now LEAVE!". Naturally, Ash smarts off, and continues whacking at the ice. Kyurem launches a Flamethrower, but Keldeo, not surprisingly, intervenes and stops the Flamethrower, jumping just outside of the icy arch that marks the battlefield's bounds.
Kyurem, satisfied, focuses its full attention on Keldeo. Keldeo then openly confesses that he lied to Kyurem, and that he's not a Sword of Justice yet. Kyurem, not surprised, replied saying that he knew all along, and demands that Keldeo passes through the arch into the battlefield once more to finish the battle. Keldeo begins shaking, obviously scared again, but Ash shouts out to Keldeo that he's going to be a Sword of Justice and that he can do it. Keldeo then smiles, takes a running start, and dives through the gate, all the while thinking of his training with The Swords of Justice and declares that he's not running away once he lands in the center of the court. With the words "I will become a Sword of Justice!", Keldeo transforms into his Resolute forme, and his horn regrows.
Iris and Cilan appear and begin helping to break up the ice while Keldeo fights Kyurem. He does well at first, but Kyurem freezes one of his legs in ice. Kyurem then begins charging an unknown attack that's presumed by me to be Ice Shock. Pikachu almost attacks due to an order from Ash, but Keldeo cuts them off and breaks out of the ice using Hydro Pump from the hoof that was encased. Keldeo attacks Kyurem, and Kyurem's charged energy explodes, causing a shockwave to ring throughout the court. This completely shatters the ice that was imprisoning The Swords of Justice, and they thank Ash for saving Keldeo. After a bit more battling and thinking about the advice from The Swords of Justice, Keldeo delivers a powerful blow with its regular attacks, and knocks Kyurem out of sight with explosive force.
Keldeo catches his breath, but Kyurem reappears shortly and manages to execute 'Ice Shock' much more quickly, and Keldeo, caught off guard, becomes completely encased in ice. The entire group, apart from Cobalion, are stunned and can't believe it. Cobalion, however, squints and stares at the ice. An orange glow slowly emits from Keldeo's outline and steadily becomes brighter and brighter until Keldeo manages to break out of his icy prison with Sacred Sword. One thrust of Keldeo's sword sends Kyurem sliding into a pillar of ice, which collapses. Kyurem, amused, states that "I've been waiting for this! Your true power!" and unleashes Ice Shock yet again. Keldeo's return attack caused Ice Shock to ricochet and nearly hit Ash and co, until Keldeo rebounded and split the attack in two with Sacred Sword, causing another massive explosion.
When the smoke clears, Keldeo collapses, and Kyurem pins him with a growl. Keldeo then states that Kyurem wins. Kyurem releases Keldeo and compliments him, obviously impressed with the way Keldeo kept Ice Shock from obliterating Ash & co. Kyurem begins walking off, and Keldeo reverts to ordinary forme, with the group noticing that his horn grew back. Shortly after this, lo and behold, the Full Court begins collapsing. After The Swords of Justice get the group to safety, Kyurem uses Ice Burn to stop the collapse, and his court is saved, newly redecorated with ice. The movie ends shortly thereafter, when the Swords of Justice say their oath, with Keldeo joining in.The end!

I watched the same movie over the weekend, only I didn’t come across it showing by chance, I specifically booked the day off of work to see it. Totally worth it, as it was very fun and entertaining! Keldeo’s design was cool, and I loved the way it used some attacks. I was skeptical when I heard Vic would be doing Keldeo’s voice, but I thought he did a great job.
