Well, I had searched and didn't find anything that suggested that another thread had existed with this topic, so...
What was the last animated series/ episode/ movie you had seen? Was it good? Was it bad? Was it the first time you saw this series and you were hooked? Was that episode the worst episode ever? Did that movie live up to your expectations or were you disappointed? Tell us here!
When I mention animated I meant as in a cartoon, anime or even a 3D movie (like Disney Pixar or Dreamworks).

I just saw WALL-E for the first time yesterday, on TV. I can see how it got such a good reputation. It wasn't entirely what I expected though. I had the impression from trailers and stuff that it wouldn't feature humans or real language at all, which I thought would be an interesting approach, though an unlikely one. Nonetheless, it was as heartwarming and visually impressive as they say.

Hmm... the latest animated thing I've watched? Well, I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, but a month or so ago I sat through the first season (read: 25 episodes) of the Rockman.EXE anime. (as subbed by Anime Haven/Wolf Pack Productions) I don't remember what it was that set off my recent interest in Battle Network, but after two dozen hours or so of playing the original game, I found myself wanting to revisit the anime. I was hardly disappointed. I'd have to say I really liked it actually. I don't think I ended up skipping a single episode. I forgot how cool that series was back in the day. But I don't think I want to watch the rest of it, though. That much was enough.

Last animated thing I recall watching was The Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight. Out of the 27 episodes, I've watched the first 20. It does a good job as a fantasy story and in character development. The overall story aside, I loved the shorts that followed- some of this stuff is pretty funny, and I think I can safely say the actors had fun working with the more comedic material- one or two bits had me laughing out loud.. I don't know when I'll find the time between work and school, but I'd love to finish watching this series.

I'm currently catching up on the second season of Arakawa Under the Bridge. Great anime. I figured it'd be another generic boring romance, but it's actually pretty hilarious. The mayor is totally a real kappa. What zipper are you talking about? You're just imagining things! www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=11188

The last animated thing I watched was Tangled, which means it's been far too long since I've watched cartoons. I recommend it highly, though. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did.

I recently watched through Death Note. Great suspense that has you hooked from very early on and a really interesting premise, but I think it dragged on for way too long. I have other issues with it, but they would go into spoiler territory, so I won't go into them. Overall, though, I would say it's worth watching. I just saw WALL-E for the first time yesterday, on TV. I can see how it got such a good reputation. It wasn't entirely what I expected though. Nonetheless, it was as heartwarming and visually impressive as they say. I'm one of those people who strongly believe that the movie went downhill the moment the humans showed up. The first half hour or so proved that the silent film can still work.

I got "How to Train Your Dragon" DVD (Finnish version) for Christmas, and while I actually had seen it in English a long time ago, this was the first time I got to watch it with Finnish dubs!
I really loved the movie when I first saw it in English, and after watching it in Finnish, it's even better~ Many people of my age and a bit younger tend to hate dubbed films, but I'm very happy with the quality, especially with Dreamworks and Disney movies! They usually beat the originals in my opinion. <3
Anyway, while most of the characters don't really offer anything new, they still have their personal charm to them. I really like both Hiccup (for the curious, he's called Hikotus in the Finnish version) and Astrid a lot~ Needless to say, I'm loving the dragons, too, especially Toothless (known as Hampaaton in the Finnish version). The soundtrack is so amazing, too! I could listen to some of the BGM for hours and hours~
Soooo, all in all, it's a great movie and you should watch it NOW.

I had recently watched the Mega Man Star Force anime.
I am quite impressed how the voices for the English dub suited all the characters and how faithful it was to the original Japanese version. Pity the rest of the series weren't dubbed into English...
As for the rest of the series, I found it quite enjoyable to watch as there were some different elements compared to the first video game. What I dislike was the fact that Luna's character wasn't like the Tsundere she was in the game, and how a few filler episodes dragged the first series a bit before the series finale.
Other than that, a solid anime.

Very awesome! I loved Tangled as well (I've got a friend in the credits!) Tangled was the most recent animated movie I watched, although I've since re-watched How to Train Your Dragon, which believe me, is one of the greatest and well-made 3D films of all time.

Samurai Girls ~ Small Anime series a close friend got me to watch, unique harem comedy until the end where it falls apart. 7/10
P&S w/G ~ Insane, Most of the ideas were made when the people behind it were drunk, and you can tell. That said, it is fun to watch and everything about it works in it's complete madness. 8/10
Digimon Xros Wars ~ Always been a Digimon lover since it first aired in America, This season has shown a lot of awesome ideas, but a lot I doubt many will like in the end. But their use of Digimon Characters has been great! Tossing out the Rookie-Mega classifications has basically allowed them to have any cool looking Digimon they want appear without worrying about breaking the story. This works for this season, but hopefully it doesn't become normal. So far I give it a 8/10

I had recently watched Superman/ Shazam today. It was a great animation short that's about Black Adam wanting to get rid of Billy Batson before Shazam could grant him his powers. Luckily enough for Billy, Superman came to the rescue. Unfortunately for Superman, he is weak against magic. I must admit that I laughed and shook my head when Shazam granted Billy his powers, yet didn't really explain how to activate and deactivate them besides telling him that he must call Shazam. Way to go there, old man. Green Arrow animated short: Great feature. I really liked the tension here when the hero had to protect the princess. It was also refreshing that the princess was a ten-year old girl instead of a fully-grown woman we seem to see so much nowadays. The Spectre short: This is quite a dark short as this is about The Spectre. Quite chilling.
