Dang, Proboards has updated quite a bit since I last visited here. Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone. I've been pretty busy lately and haven't been as active in the Legends community as much as I would've liked to, but I still browse the boards and post stuff on the Get Me Off The Moon Facebook page every now and then. You guys have been doing a great job at holding the community together and keeping them active, yet still keeping them from going crazy and continuing to harass Capcom. And the Tuttle fangame is lookin' good. I'm impressed. Keep doing what you're doing, and I hope everyone continues to make progress and that we eventually see the release of Legends 3. Good show, everyone. I'd high five each of you if I could.

Good to hear from you Jorge! Keep your eyes open for the ext TLT event and contribute something! Heck, there's a day left for the current event if you think you can come up with a museum item real quick.

I think my brain broke. I don't understand it. I was going to put something interesting here just now but for what it's worth it just isn't working. I bet it's this "Will it rain or won't it rain" weather outside. I should probably go do some calisthenics or something.

Oh boy has it rained for days down this way. I'm really, really tired of it. I forgot to update you guys on my valentines thing. I gave her her saxophone and she was speechless. Made me feel really good. She's got to relearn alot of things though, she hasn't played for 1 and a half. How did your valentines day go everybody?

Well, like I said on the actual day, it was awesome. A flower from an old lady and free pizza at work the day I actually had the foresight to bring Lactaid, along with having the house to myself, were the highlights of the day.
Oh, and later my dad got me a box of Godiva chocolates and ruined every other chocolate brand for me for all eternity. It's probably for the better. Too much sugar can get me seriously wired.

I actually have to avoid going too crazy on the sugar at this point. My family has a history of diabetes, and I'd like to avoid it as best I can. I have to say that there are some great sugar-free chocolates out there. I can't remember the brand name, but one is like a Reese's peanut butter cup, and it's delicious.

*Cough* *hack*
My latest S. Seminar paper is done, but I've been having a cough for the last few days.... I'm surprised it didn't get worse: on monday, I had to bring in a delivery, and it was raining cats and dogs!
Nothing's worse than having to work while you're soaked to the bone...

I usually keep Lactaid at work for such occasions, but I hate it when a coworker brings delicious pizza to work when I'm out, or when I go over to a friend's house and forget to bring any... I always end up just eating it anyways and going "welp, I'm going to regret that in a minute."

I always end up just eating it anyways and going "welp, I'm going to regret that in a minute." I definitely know that feeling. I'll eat a bowl of cereal with actual milk and later on my stomach is like "why did you do that?!". Whoever thought of Lactaid was a genius.

Oddly (or perhaps expectedly) enough, Velveeta Polymer doesn't do anything to me...I'd never eat that in solid form though. Only melted. I really want to know the chemical makeup of Velveeta.

Velveeta? It's cheese. Pasteurized, mechanically processed cheese that gains its high-meltability, smoothness, and creamy texture because when it was made, they reincorporated the whey of the cheese with the cheese curd (Well, that's grossly simplifying how it's made, at least). It may not seem like real cheese, but it is definitely cheese.

Weird. It definitely tastes synthetic to me. I had a phase once where I sculpted it into things like it was play-doh. I was never good at sculpting with play-doh but I actually LIKED letting it harden.
That's another weird thing. I don't get why they sell clay that isn't supposed to harden because once you sculpt something using multiple clay colors they start getting all into each other no matter how hard you try to keep them separate. Clay just seems like something you'd logically just use once and then fire up or bake into a figurine or whatever when you're done sculpting. If you reuse it too much nasty crap starts getting into it, too.

Now, see, I've never liked sculpting with Play-doh or actual modeling clays in the first place. It seems to me if you want to make a good statue or figure of something, you've not only got to have the modeling clay on hand, you've got to have tools to sculpt and refine it as well; some sort of sculpting knife or detailer, for one, to get the fine point details. There's so much more room for error on a physical work of art than there is in a drawn work of art, be it traditional art done with pen and paper or digital art done with Photoshop. I've always been afraid that if I get into sculpting, I'd have to learn far more then I ever would have if I were to learn to draw.
I guess it comes back to my ADHD and bipolar tendencies; I just do not have the capacity to sit still and be patient for it.

My Mega Man marathon continues on as I powered through Mega Man 7 last night. So happy about beating this one the way I did.
