I'm not much of a television guy anymore, but I do tend to be good at exercise and being tired when I go to sleep. I guess my biggest problem is not listening to my brain and trying to get a little more done before calling it a day, so you know what? I've got a free day going on here. Since I'm tired as I'm typing this, I'm going to try to get my rest in right now as odd of an hour as it is to do that.

I have no problem with sleeping, myself. I keep myself to a (typically) very rigid self-imposed curfew of 10:00-10:30 at night, usually waking up around 8:00 in the morning. I only wake up once, maybe twice during my sleep, and that's just a groggy walk to the restroom, nothing more; I'm a very sound sleeper.
I couldn't imagine anyone else not keeping the same curfew as I do, to be honest. Why wouldn't you go to sleep at the same time every night? You may not have been raised the same way as I do, but adopting a curfew of that sort might do you all some good if you need to fix your sleep habits.

Last few months haven't been very fun on the employment front if you get my drift. I am sleeping a bit better the last few nights since my post, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed here.

Is today some kind of International Turn off your Turn Signal day? I almost got run over twice in a span of thirty minutes by people who lacked the foresight to indicate the direction in which they were planning on steering their vehicles. On the other hand my new AC adapter's finally in. First AC adapter of the year. This should be fun.

In general I have a bedtime of around 11-ish, waking up at 7:30-8 on a typical morning. I will say this though, as a college student (with roommate), going to bed at a decent hour can be a much bigger hassle than it needs to be. Trying to sleep with various noises/distractions at all hours of the night is hardly an easy task.

I'm currently NEETing it up (in a loose sense), so I go to bed anywhere between 2am to 5am, depending on what I'm doing. I'm a nocturnal person who prefers peace and quiet without people doing people things, so night is the best time for that. I like mornings and that "The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup" feeling, but you can't beat night. Night is just awesome all around. And the moon is pretty. Most of my creative projects get started or finished at night, since it's easier for me to think. I tend to get around 5-7 hours of sleep--meaning I can wake up at noon if my night/sleep went long. XD I'm a pretty light sleeper, but nothing is loud enough to wake me up. Though, if I do get woken up, and if I stay up, I'm usually grumpy for the rest of the day. I have destroyed many towns as a result of loud trucks passing the house.
So yeah. Just your friendly neighbourhood deadbeat. Nothing to see here.

Finally getting some more video game content up on my channel after a couple of months off. Mega Man 1 & 2, recorded live at the time, which makes for some interesting moments. I love playing games in different ways on that. Also, the comments on the first of those are either very hilarious or scary depending on your view. I take it as the former.

School was cancelled all today because of ice and Dashe's avatar reminds me that I watched like 10 episodes of 30 rock today. I can almost never catch that show when it's on. I guess they play it from like 10-3! My favorite of the ones I watched today was where Jack gets his mentor's Peacock. Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey are really great together. I'll be out again tomorrow so that's probably how I'll spend the morning. (besides also working on a few event entries)

I added a music player to my Tumblr page. Nothing too fancy or obnoxious: Top-mounted affair, black with deep purple icons and stuff, except for the streaming bar (which for some consarned reason was neon green when buffered, but I fixed that). Disabled autoplay on it, and set the volume at 25% so it wouldn't be obnoxious to my visitors. It's got some pretty nice songs on it. My Tumblr page is generally of a dark purple affair, simple and visually pleasing. I'd link, but that'd be solicitin awww here it is, tell me what you guys think.

And not in that dating sort of way, either. I'm actually glad someone else here watches that show. I've been watching the whole thing now that it's over and I can watch all of the episodes on my time without having to wait. My favorite episodes so far are a toss-up between the live show where Tracy keeps trying to screw it up on purpose and Jack winds up huffing the wine on Jenna's breath and that scene where Lemon's hunched over the toilet in Kenneth's hometown with indigestion and Jack tries to give her a back massage with a broom. I am currently about halfway through Season 5. I have no idea when it actually comes on, though. Like I said, I make 30 Rock happen when I want it to happen. You have no idea how much time I spent going through old posts from my hyperactive, pre-administrative teen phase and mentally re-reading them in Alec Baldwin's voice. It makes me want to change my avatar to Morgan Freeman just to see what happens. Then EVERYBODY would be forced to read everything I post in Morgan Freeman's voice, since Morgan Freeman tends to have that effect on people.

Damn it Dashe, I read that in Alec Baldwin voice! You've done a horrible thing! Are you watching it on Netflix? I haven't noticed it on there before.

If you want a real laugh, go back to any post made before 2006 and read THAT in his voice. At one point I made a thread about a particularly good hair day I had. That one ought to be magnificent. And no, I'm not watching it on Netflix. If I told you how I was watching it, I'd have to write myself up. I do plan on getting the DVDs fairly soon, though. Incidentally, Jack Donaghy would probably have a similar philosophy for TV shows, only he'd ignore a show, dismissing it publicly as stupid until the finale was taped. Then he'd pay to get advance copies of full TV shows, probably all on one disc, and watch it all whenever he wants because he thinks he's above waiting a week between episodes.

Just reading the name 30 Rock instantly reminds me of this particular scene. The look on McBrayer's face is just priceless.

McBrayer's face in general is pretty priceless. If anybody were to make a 30 Rock action-adventure game I'd want Kenneth to be the protagonist. Oh the errands you'd run! Oh the crap that you'd see! It'd be a smash!

I have just created my first perpetual energy generator in Minecraft with the Feed The Beast Modpack. Using parts from the IndustrialCraft² mod and Eloraam's RedPower 2 mod, I've made a machine that continuously pumps water into buckets that fill Water Mills, then go back to fill the buckets to fill the Mills infinitely. It depends mainly on Minecraftian water physics, namely how water has the propensity to refill a flowing space of itself to source-block status if two other source blocks are in the spots to provide counterpart water flows to it; in other words, an infinite water spring. Here's how I did it, via the instructions provided here. If anyone needs me, I'll be solving world hunger!
