Clearly, there was a lesson learned, Raven. Don't clip your toenails standing up.

Prep for the 2011 Grillathon starts tomorrow. Four racks of ribs, two cookouts, no stupid kids to watch, all of the annoying relatives I have know better than to bother the cook, and all of the awesome ones should be free to hang out. This weekend is going to be great! ;D

Clearly, there was a lesson learned, Raven. Don't clip your toenails standing up. Wasn't standing up, but yeah- pain=:11: !! Outside camping tomorrow, not much going on.

Tehe...
I am offically going to a concert in September called 'Carnival of Madness' in Poplar Bluff MO. My favorite new band is going to play there, Black Stone Cherry, and they are primerally my reason for going although the other four bands are pretty cool.
Me, my friend Kale and his brother Kyle are going and we got middle-arena seats for $30 dollars each! I'm pretty excited, even though it's 3 months away. Trying to get my girlfriend to go but she more into the poppy stuff and musicals.
Speaking of musicals, my girlfriend(her name is Miranda) made me watch Chicago today. Worst.Movie.Evar! I hate the main character so much!
P.S. the other bands there are Theory of a Dead Man, Adelitas Way, Alter Bridge(Which is the band Creed minus the vocalist), and Emphatic, a band I never heard of with a Emo looking singer.

Rob Smith was a photographer in the press conference number in the Chicago movie. I like Richard Gere's "Razzle Dazzle" and Queen Latifah's "When You're Good to Mama," but otherwise the movie transition wasn't that great, and the Amos I saw on stage was much better.
If you want a really good musical movie, check out The Producers instead, the newer one with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick. I think you'd like that one better.

At the moment, I am writing, watching a movie, doodling and sipping whiskey. The stuff is similar to vodka in that it burns you, so sipping is advised if any of you plan to drink this type of liquor...
This might be among my last messages for a while- tomorrow, when my sister and brother-in-law get off work, we go camping for the weekend. Assuming I don't get in a few posts tomorrow, the odds are that I'll post again when I'm on my way back home..

@ Dashe, Oh yeah! I read that on a site when the very old news of Rob being arrested broke. I looked that scene up on Youtube and watched it but I forgot about it today. As for me watching 'The Producers', I think I'll pass, I'm all musicaled out. Last week she had me watch 'Burlesque' ( )and the week before that 'Phantom of The Opera' (Which is fine). She is also going to force me to watch 'Gnomeo and Juliet' which I don't think is a musical but will probably grind on my nerves(as the title already does).

She has absolutely terrible taste. :01: I bet she likes RENT, too. Watch out, that'll be next.
Have fun, Raven!

I think she has said something about RENT, she's talked about REPO, Hairspray, and Tangled.

Dashe: As I know, we're slated to go @ 4:30 pm, so I might poke around a bit. Odds are, I'll spend a bit of the trip doodling ( I did get a few things done), I do have movies on the side if anyone wants to watch them while we're over at the lake. Oddly enough, I did say before I went that I wanted to go see the great mountains, hear the pine trees and the rivers... looks like I get to do that. ;D Nature is a good way to get the creative juices flowing, especially around the campfire. Loken: The last musical I've seen was The Scarlet Pimpernel, back in high school. I do have The Producers, but never got to watching it.

Anything by Mel Brooks is awesome.
Raven, have you got the 2005 Producers or the 1968 Producers?

Bought 2005, but I did see the 1968 version, years back. History of the World: Part 1 is still funny after all these years...
I got my things ready for camping and the way back- We got two generators for the weekend, but odds are, I'll limit my power usage to the phone and my kindle (but it last a long time without charging). Odds are good I won't be joining the iscribble sessions for this week.

I won't be joining them either. In fact, I'd be surprised if fAB gets enough entries to the Minicomic contest this week.

Melbrooks is fantastic, my favorite is Blazing Saddles. My girlfriend's grandma has every Mel Brooks movie and we watch them when we go over there.
