Raven, look at me. Do I look like I visit GameFAQs for the quality conversations? No. If I made offense with my remark, I apologize for it.

That's why I'm picky about which communities I join. While it's still on my mind, don't forget to add my friend code! I posted in the 3DS thread, but just for the sake and novelty of getting this thread closer to 100 pages and watching Dashe manage and unite a couple through holy matrimony, my code is 0001-3406-4968

It'd have to be a gay couple, unless we get some more girls signing up for this board. I'm not holding my breath.

At the 1000 page mark we should tally up the two most frequent posters in this thread and have them married.

GameFAQs is a den of trolls, scum, and villainy.:15: Unless you go for the FAQs, there is little to no good there... It all depends on where you go. Believe it or not, I've nabbed some handy stuff from the boards on multiple occasions. Sure, there's always the usual share or trolling and immaturity, but there's some pretty wise and mature people over there as well. Though I guess that can be said for an community, really. (Though I've never set foot anywhere near 4chan)

Believe it or not, I've nabbed some handy stuff from the boards on multiple occasions. Etc. . . . I was pretty regular on the Pokémon boards for a long time. I didn't have a single bad experience there. People complain about smogon a lot, and that kind of annoys me. But trolling/flaming/etc.? Barely any of that. I've had about the same experience on just about any other board I've frequented there. I've posted questions and gotten good answers; I've provided answers for people looking for help. It's pretty nice, really. The only place I really don't like hanging out is the Sonic boards; that's just nuts. But that kind of stupidity and endless bitching is something that plagues the Sonic fandom as a whole. I wouldn't put the blame on GameFAQs for that one. I don't know why people bash GameFAQs so much, to be honest.

I have seen a few things from the GameFAQs threads, and did not like what I see.. The only time I go there is when I have business that requires looking into their archives.
Changing the subject, my niece's party is well underway, food and drink flowed like water. The cake and pinata are already dispensed and things are slowing down a little. I feel a little sluggish, but that's fine- I haven't felt this good in a long time.

People complain about smogon a lot, and that kind of annoys me. Speaking of Smogon, I bumped into an interesting article comparing the different evil organizations in prior Pokemon games. Ghetsis really is a complete monster, isn't he?
I find that lots of non-Smogonites complain about Smogon a lot because they think that they're trying to suck the fun out of the game. It's like comparing casual Smash Bros. fans to tourney players, although that argument's almost justified due to them changing the way the game is played completely. (But that's another argument for another time).

'Kay, OOT, then grilling. Working on Goron Mountain at the moment. Play has slowed to a crawl with my girlfriend spending the weekend with me. And now, grilling. Grilled pineapple marinated in teriyaki is orgasmic. I've become the grilling apprentice in past years, my father can grill most anything and I'm quickly picking up the trade. Though, I -have- become the seasoning/flavor masterof the house. Nobody else can quite mix and match flavors like I can.

Lets see...might be a leak in the well piping somewhere and the fridge stopped working and I just had this odd urge to play fallout 3. Found my discs and started the game up only to find all my saves were gone. So I decided to name my character 'Trigger' instead of my usual name. I like killing radroaches with a baseball bat, only one swing and pow their dead! I was curious about the Dunwich Building and went there, sadly it was a big disappointment. Oh no...a ghoul ridden building...at least the loot was good. Ah well onto raven rock and the rest of the wastes.

The party's well over, but that didn't stop us from making what's left of the cotton candy. My brother and dad are on their way back home.. it's never easy to say goodbye.. But, the road goes ever on.. Most of the guests have left, I've been doodling one or two things, but nothing significant.. Looks to be a quiet afternoon, so I might start up the master quest, or start up Nostalgia. But, I should check my flight plans for next week- you never know when something's gone awry... *update* everything's on schedule. So far, so good.

It's a blustery morning in the valley. We made plans to go camping on the weekend. I just hope where we're going is close to Reno- I have to fly before sunrise on Monday..
Not much planned right now, except for movies, doodling, reading, and spending time with the nieces and dog.
I bought my niece a dvd- You're a good man, Charlie Brown. I've forgotten how much I liked the peanuts.. I might have to look for the collections when I return home.

So I'm a coin collector and a fellow stopped by my dads shop while I was working selling Morgan Silver dollars for $17 a pop. That's not too abnormal, but they were in near mint condition! Well I bought one and so did my uncle and I looked up their worth and the one I bought is worth over $130 dollars while my uncle was worth $34. The fellow said he'd be back today but he hasn't showed up and my uncle found out that he is a friend of Dr. Rockwell, one of three dentists in the city of Corning and also he's a drug dealer . We suspect we bought stolen coins. So, yeah. The bright side is is that they are 100% authentic.

Loken: I suppose this is a case where something good comes from something bad...:17: The day started off on a bad note- while clipping my toe nails, I slipped and ended up cutting into my toe- it hurt badly for a bit:11: Despite that, the day turned out well. We went out for lunch (nothing beats In-n-Out for hamburgers), I snagged a good haul at Borders, and then finished up with light shopping. My toe's calmed down and all is well at the moment..
