I'm so fucking happy for Jessie, James and Meowth The unfortunate part being that of course they had to immediately make them get carried off by a Bewear. "We tried our best, but sometimes, your best isn't good enough."

Been doing a daily push-up challenge thing for the last few weeks. It's basically supposed to get your arms in better shape. It's supposed to start at 10 and eventually by the last two days hit 100 and then as many as you can do without stopping. Today's my 25th day where I'm supposed to do 80 of the suckers, and it's been tough the past few, but it feels nice to do more working out than just the exercise bike or weights/weight machine every day.
Working out is a good stress reliever is what I'm trying to say, but doing personal challenges along with it makes it even better.

I, uh, got a new job recently. After months of job hunting and pounding the pavement, I finally landed--with the ever-present help of my mental health care provider's supportive employment service--a janitorial job at a denim manufacturing mill down in Trion, a forty-five minute or so drive from my house in LaFayette. I work Mondays through Thursdays, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and my hourly rate is about $7.45, which I'm honestly not going to complain about because, fucking HELL, man, I've been out of work too long, I need this opportunity like a Cosplay Pikachu needs a Light Ball. Speaking of Pokemon, you'll never guess what company managed to snap up the license of Pokemon for their building block construction toy sets. ...No, it's not LEGO. It's Mega Bloks.Yeah, the ever-present pretender to the throne. The Mimikyu to LEGO's Pikachu. The Silvally to their Arceus.

Congrats on landing a job! Hopefully Pokemon Mega Bloks don't usurp the need for utilities and rent. I'm not even sure I'd want those if I were a millionaire.

Thinkin' I'll make myself comfy here too - hey y'all, hope you'll have me!
Of Team Rocket finally beating Ash fair and square, I seriously need to watch that. That's basically human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria level. I wonder what the writers were thinking when they did this...
Writer: What if... what if we just let Team Rocket beat Ash? Writer 2: W-what did you say? *thousand yard stare* Writer: Yeah man, what if... that actually happened? Did we ever even consider that? Writer 2: Oh my god.
Hahah, and Mega Bloks isn't too bad! I see it being sold just about everywhere here - Gundam, a couple of video-games like Halo and CoD, just a hotpot of stuff! Of course the quality isn't quite up to par, but the price is certainly better haha. But I totally see a little kid feeling betrayed for receiving Mega Bloks instead of Lego for their birthday...
And I'm really happy you got yourself that job - you're going to do awesomely! Oh Bean, I've been doing a similar routine ever since I've had to switch areas for work and was unable to renew mah gym membership (just too inconvenient now), except it's with sit-ups. Hilariously enough though, this only happened because a buddy had downloaded a random Dating Sim into my phone for fun and I kid you not, you need to exercise to accomplish anything. It's called 'Burn Your Fat with Me!'...

We have all the exercise equipment we need here for my tastes. I always do sit-ups every day, too. 160 or so, although 80 of them are more or less halfhearted crunches so I shouldn't really count those. It's a good thing to stay in shape no matter how you go about it. Congrats!

Nothing truly brightens up a return to this place like several bot threads, eh?

Bot threads? No, that's me sockpuppeting. We're giving the old station a nice overhaul along with a new focus to bring in hip multicultural athletes. Nike and Adidas are both giving us some serious bank for this, too. And by "us," I mean "me." Don't tell fAB.

I love pineapple. It's the only fruit that actively tries to eat me while I eat it. Thank you, enzymes. You make a worthy and delicious foe of pineapple.

Pineapple's great. I own two pairs of socks with pineapples on them. If it isn't my favorite fruit outright, it's definitely in the top three.

Bananas, grapes, and apples in that order for me. I just don't like the ones with the super juicy kickback.

I'm into any kind of apples except red delicious. Too starchy, those.

Huh, I actually don't like Red Delicious apples. Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, and Honeycrisp are my favorites.

I still can't really tell the difference between Gala and Fiji. Honeycrisp's good. I like the idea of Granny Smith in theory, but in practice it's too much fruit and too much flavor. What Granny Smith apples are great for, though, is when your mouth gets really spitty during a recording session to cut back on weird smacking sounds. No idea what's going on there, but Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal swear on it in their book.

That would probably help me during commentary then. I always have that issue with any soft "s" or "c" sounds when I'm talking.
