I wait to do my gift shopping after Thanksgiving a week after the actual holiday. Not only does that give leeway to anyone buying things right away, it also gives leeway to the store being able to restock its supplies with the December shipment of their sale products. This is only if I absolutely have to have the item or items I want right away; I can usually wait even longer, like at Christmas, to get my shopping done.

Yeah, I've been having issues with finding a job, too, and it's very frustrating. Thanksgiving was good, though. I'm glad my family and I get along. That positive influence keeps me going even when I feel like throwing in the towel some days.

I spend hours writing, post it on 3 forums and no one pays any attention... Par for the course.

Comic Con Portugal starts next Friday, and I'm somewhat pumped up for it. I say somewhat because I am going alone, and while I am used to going to these events by myself, it gets kinda scary because the event space is amazingly huge and even so it has barely any space for all the people who participate. ... And being alone heightens your "forever alone" feels when you notice all the groups around you...

With the recent news I learned about a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game being developed by Platinum Games (see my post in the Video Games Announcement Thread for more info), I'm wondering: Should I go ahead and binge every episode of the 2003 TMNT cartoon? I have the entire seven-season run on my external drive, EDEN. And I DO love the 'Turtles...

As long as you skip the Fast Forward stuff. That arc was really bad.

December's come so fast, it's almost crazy...
I'm guessing the Secret Santa event will creep a bit later, then? Speaking of which, my family's doing the gifts that way, this year, and I've already gotten a present for my stepbrother-in-law.

Yeahp, Secret Santa's gonna creep up a little bit later on. I'm probably not going to be the one hosting this time. If I am, it'll be news to me.
Let's all be surprised!

I'm swamped up with tests until Saturday night, which sucks because it gives me exactly zero time to write up the write-up, and I'd rather not write in the write-up. I'll certainly make it worth your while somehow or another.
The last time I said something like that we ended up with forum awards, so take that as you will. Though it's probably more along the lines of "Have a picture of a cookie."

Dang. Talk about everybody being busy right at the start of December. I start work tomorrow and have to go to bed super early tonight cuz I'll have junk to do before that. Friday's gonna be a mess too and I won't get free time until Friday evening.
We'll hafta see what happens. In the meantime, everybody can limber up for it. I wish I wasn't as busy this year as compared to last year, but in the grand scheme of things, it's better for me this way irl.

studies have shown that excessive stretching before a workout actually increases chance of injury, and that stretching should be practiced as a cooldown exercise or as its own separate activity not linked to other forms.

You assume our comments were related. You cannot discount the possibility that I was simply sharing a random article I read.
I admit though, I did recall it upon reading the word limber, though that wasn't really the why.

It did feel a bit inconsistent, but I couldn't really dismiss the possibility. My bad.
That's an article I should forward to my high school's band program.
E: Used the wrong word for band program. Although, practice during the summer is what they called "band camp" which is what I had there originally. That year really turned me off from ever wanting to play a trumpet again.
