It's been 2 years since MMLEx was started. The project has been through a lot in it's lifetime, from the horrid A6 engine to a custom C++ engine (a much needed improvement). However, the game has been on the edge of extinction many times, but none so close as now.
Right now, we are seriously lacking in staff. It has come down to the point where we cannot continue without new talent in almost all fields.
With that said, we're releasing our latest version, a completely unadulterated beta, without polish, sanding, or finish of any kind.
This is what MMLEx is now. Hopefully you'll enjoy it.

Hello, its JMC47, the co-founder of MMLEx, to explain this demo
First off I want to note that this is not complete. The models are not complete, the main mode is not complete, nothing is complete.
When you enter the menu, its self explanatory, and you shouldn't have a problem navigating it.
OPTIONS MENU
You can choose a few tweaks here and there, but the main thing is the firing mode. It is probably a good idea you check the options menu before playing the game.
When you are in game, here are the default controls
W - Walk Forward
A - Walk Left
S - Walk Backwards
D - Walk Right
Space Bar - Jump
Left Mouse Button - Shoot
Mouse Scroller - Switch Targetting Modes
Pause - P
ON CERTAIN CONTROL MODES
Hold Mouse Button Left - Charge
Release Mouse Button Left - Fire Charge Shot
Mode Descriptions
Main Ruins - This is where the story mode was supposed to begin. But, as it is, its the only non-random ruins. If you go into it, it is heavily bugged, with missing textures and walls. Game is not completed in any way in this mode. It is only included because it was in the actual test game we played
Random Ruins - The meat of the game. You go in a randomly generated ruins, and face off with 15 Zakobon. This mode has very few bugs and is nearly completed. You will notice that the Zakobon models are NOT complete do to the modelors missing shortly before this demo was released.
KNOWN ISSUES
Sound Blaster Sound Cards DO NOT play sounds correctly. Music will stutter on said sound cards and all sounds may stop playing.
KNOWN BUGS
Besides animation glitches, the game should not have any problems with crashing like the A6 counter part released a year ago.
Sometimes, only 13 Zakobons spawn instead of 15. No solution at this time.
CREDITS
All of the people here have my greatest appreciation for there help in the project.
JMC47 - Not much in this demo, but I started the project, so I deserve some credit. I did the animations on MegaMan and the Zakobon, though... I shouldn't be proud of it.
NMN - He essentially started the project, but left the project before this version and none of his work carried over from V4. Without him, MMLEx would have never made it out of the gates.
Eric Chiz - Essentially took over the project while I was floundering with what to do and saved it from oblivion more than once. He did level textures and levels, plus a lot of other various things for MMLEx. He did bug test a lot of the older versions of MMLEx as one of the main beta testers.
Fenix - An awesome coder who wrote all of the code that MMLEx runs on, from AI, movement, everything.
Mandinga - Mandinga disappeared recently, but his MegaMan model is the model used in MMLEx. He was with the project from almost the beginning.
Dash Myoku - Though none of his music for MMLEx appears in this version, Dash has made some awesome music for MMLEx. I hope that it sometime will be able to be used.
ShellDragon - At one point she was a concept artist for MMLEx. Though none of her work carried over to this version, it is very appreciated she took the time to help the project.
Feldinaut - She beta tested many bug filled versions of the A6 game.
Pharoah Man - He beta tested many bug filled versions of the A6 game.
Fire Griffin - She beta tested at least one bug filled version of the A6 game
DeathtoJohnny - Tested code for the C++ version of MMLEx
Strider of SMMD - Tested many later A6 and C++ versions of MMLEx
-Other people and things who have greatly affected MMLEx
fab of MMLS - Without fab's MMLS, NMN and I would have never have started the project.
SuperDanny of MLU - His enthusiasm for MMLEx was one of the things that kept me going whilst most people ignored it.
Strider of SMMD - He would have hosted the HUGE V4 version for me, and it was nice to know that MMLEx would have a reliable host when it was completed.
Everyone at MMLS, MLU, and SMMD who commented or game encouragements for MMLEx, negative or positive, its all appreciated.
Anyone who I stupidly forgot because its been a long time
A certain video game - Without that game, I would have never have remembered MML in the first place, and thus the project would have never commenced.
