Hi there, Jitterbug ! Good to have you on board. It's good to see that fAB's been doing a great job with his designs to attract fellow Legends fans! There's a couple things I'd like for you to know about: 1) I moved your MML-intro recreation thread out of forum games into Original Games & Game Design, since undoubtedly that's a better home for it! 2) If you wish to get even more involved with our community, you can choose to come join us on Discord! It's a browser-friendly text-chat (and voice-chat) app that allows for various organized discussions to happen all at once, and we feel it's a great asset to our forum community. We just ask that you ensure that you continue to post important / intricate content here in the forums so that they remain a strong means of sharing content and discussion. I watched the video you did of the run-through of the ruins; it looks like a solid copy of the entire tower! It'll be good to see you finish it, and I'm sure you have our full moral support in finishing.

Yes, we're just more active in our Discord than we are in iScribble. If we do end up scheduling one, it's announced primarily through there. You can find a quick link to the thread through the news bar.

Trainer school was introduced in gen II but was never obligatory until I think like gen V...
Wallowing in the mud in gen I trying to figure stuff out was the best.

Wait. Legends Station has a Discord? Yep, there's a thread for that. Seems my experiments with the news banner have proven that it's too small to make an impact anymore. I'm just really sick of the way games are released half-baked and then months later the developer starts adding patches to make the game actually worth playing. Maybe it's my fault for buying games when they launch, but it's a practice that's gotten way out of control. Agreed. Back in the early days of consoles, what you bought is what you got. Now there's so much room for laziness on completion of a game that it's kinda sad. It's around this point where PC gaming really starts to shine as a result, although lazy development happened to be invented by the PC. So perhaps there's not much to be said on that subject of comparison.

I know right? And out of everyone here, I'm the one who takes the least liking to Pokémon. regardless I'm closely following this because I am curious at how this new generation game holds up. Also Z-moves. I heard about those, but apparently thy function the same as Mega Evolutions then? Oh yeah I've been meaning to ask but I've been forgetting to this whole time. What are you using to capture screenshots? He explains the hardware he uses to take the screenshots in his second post in the thread. I've been watching the thread too, but as Dashe said... I don't feel like there's much for me to say. I still never bought Sun or Moon, so this is my first look at what kind of a story they tell. I can't necessarily say I'm impressed by the story it tells, but I find your commentary to be entertaining and spot-on.

There should be more to come, since that a movie should usually span over an hour. It's the same length as any typical anime series, so it just needs more episodes to follow up with. It'll definitely get subbed eventually; if not officially then by fans somewhere down the road. It's probably subbed already and we just don't know where to look.
As far as where they're going with this... I'm at a bit of a loss. It must be one brutally racial world for Beck to want to become a normal human and not keep his powers. And it's still not clear what Call did to piss off the evil syndicate. I guess we'll [eventually?] find out.

The whole Finkel idea was a bit of a drag in the game itself as well, I might as well add. Although it made for some unique gameplay, Tron just as easily could have gone in there herself with a Beacon-Bomb pistol and done the same segment with the kick she used to save Megaman from the trap as the second addition to her moveset.
I rate the whole experience a 4/10, not just the boss.

Where's the Fidget Spinner meme? I recall this boss. I believe the fight was more lengthy than it was entertaining, and being limited to only 2 attacks is probably what made it a drag to me. I certainly wouldn't be as generous with its score; I'd give it a 4/10 or so.

It's the most commonly picked font for memes and meme generators, as you may have noticed. Consequently, it's relatively easy to separate a meme from a serious caption on an image just based on font, or font color for that matter.

For video parodies rendered by you, that would fall under Miscellaneous Artwork here in the Art Forum. Fan-fiction is defined in the boards under Creative Writing, which means stories written that are predominately text-form with visual elements complimenting a story if you so desire, but not spotlighting it. You can use Dashe's Press Start To Continue as a reference of this. If a video's uploaded by you, then it's essentially defined as yours regardless of the content inside of it [since the hosting service's ToS covers that for us], and is qualified for Miscellaneous Artwork. Be mindful of NSFW warnings as necessary regarding crude adult humor comedy.

Based on the outlines given, memes naturally go to Mumbo Jumbo [under General Discussion], especially if they use the impact font. Even if they were Legends related, it would still likely be the place for them but moreso if you mixed in the other series of games as well.
There are other unwritten "if I was somebody else looking at this, what would I think?" guidelines. You may notice the party pooper thread in Mumbo Jumbo, and that outlines the kind of things we would like to avoid.
Basic gist:
-Post your memes sparingly
-Append/edit your posts accordingly if you wish to add more; use the 15 most recent posts as a guideline on when to append and when to edit. If you're 10th or higher, you edit rather than append.
-Keep in mind quality of postage so as to not appear as SPAM. Details on each image (such as origin of said image) help in achieving this.
All of the above is assuming you're just posting images that aren't your original work that have been labled for entertainment or otherwise shared. Fan Art's more directed to artists that wish to show creations that they themselves put time and effort into creating.

Yeah, deleting the first post doesn't remove a post count. It's usually the case with most free-hosting forums. Game-company forums tend to count and keep track of each post individually, but Proboards is one of the providers that doesn't.

Sounds like Data exists to avoid sequence breaking. Makes you wonder how sequence handling is done in similar games such as the various Tomb Raiders, where saving is possible anywhere.

I'm sure Handlebar-Orion X. will appreciate that. I noticed the two of you talking on vgresource because he shared the thread link in a Discord server that I lurk in. It's a shame he's not more active on MMLS because he's probably one of those people I was talking about that would've contributed moreso to your thread closer to when it was initially created.
