UPDATE: Got something a little longer for you lovely viewers out there. Hope you speak Japanese!
You may remember backing this about a year and a half ago under the title "Red Ash: Magicicada." They've got twelve seconds of teaser in this video, which is frankly twelve seconds more than I've been expecting, so you can bet I screencapped it for avatar fodder. Protodude doesn't even know anything about the game, which is as MIA as ever. In the meantime, if you're so inclined, have fun with these. It should be nice to have...something. I mean, I wish there were a little more, considering we haven't had much to work with in the past eighteen months, but we're going to get through a show a lot faster than we'll get through a game. Plus if we backtrack and watch it again, we probably won't find too many secrets. Well, at least not the kind of secrets you can work with in a game. Having an Easter Egg in there or two wouldn't surprise me at all.

Hahah, I can't help but be excited despite all that's happened. Lovin' the art style as always! I miiight design the Spelunker characters a bit closer to this, but it's close enough that it could work either way.
And yeah... it is quite nice to have anything at this point. I really appreciate the screenies too haha. Thanks again!

After giving it about a day to think on it, I'm guessing the reason they decided to go with obvious CG might've been to make it look like it could have been a game. These screenshots definitely look like game screenshots.

It looks great, it reminds me of the art style of Ajin, a great Anime that I watch on Netflix.
That Not-Roll looks so cute! She doesn't seem to be anything like her video game Call counterpart, being greedy and all, but it's comprehensive considering they had to make their own version since they had nothing more than a few sketches to work on.
Let's hope they make a great job with this, it's looking kinda promising to me.

Those are some pretty great screenshots if I do say so myself. The twelve seconds seem promising; good to see that it's still in production and appears to have promise. After how much of a flop the kickstarters appeared to be, it's a big relief.

From the sound of it they're trying to make this actually differentiate itself from MML, which is good considering the path You-Know-What took. I admit I'm not super into it but I'm at least warming up to it.

So I guess My silly petition insulting Capcom isn't needed anymore XD www.change.org/p/http-www-capcom-co-jp-please-capcom-make-a-megaman-legends-collection-1-2-and-motb-for-3ds Ok, Jokes aside I'm glad this is still a thing even If it doesn't end up well. This can serve as a pressure to Capcom and who knows they can even do the same thing they did when MN9 was in the works (AKA six games one Mega deal stuff) and release a full price PSX Rom with MML 1/2 and MoTB and call it Megaman Legends/Rockman Dash collection and I'll buy it, say anything you want about Inafune but the guy sure knows how to annoy Capcom, sometimes people working on the game industry needs to be agressive to get what they want even if it doesn't sell well, I call it passion...or obsession XD Call looks very cute BTW.

It definitely looks all right for what little was shown. I will be surprised if this sees the light of day to be honest after all the recent cancellations that these collaborations have had over the years. You'd think it was a Capcom production still. Hi-yo!

Wow, something that actually looks promising out of Red Ash. This may actually get my hope up... if we actually see more in the future.

We should be good; the anime's actually following through with email updates, too. I mean, there's not really too much worth reporting on that front other than "We're working on it," but there's also no indication the project's been abandoned. The game's what worries me. I'll probably get run over by a truck the day before news surfaces on that one.

I don't care if the game is trash as long as they finish it, All I want is Capcom to release a Megaman Legends collection to make a quick buck Just like they did with Megaman Legacy collection after MN9 was announced.

That's actually a good point. Still, Capcom has re-released the Mega Man Legends games digitally in North America. You can pick up both of those and Misadventures on PSN. I think it's just on the PS3 at the moment, but I'll be honest, I don't keep up with Sony as much. I just know that's what we own them on!

Yeah, I don't know when it was that I hit that point. Probably something like 2009. Deep down a lot of us have a threshold of "At this point, I'd rather have closure than a good game if it came down to a choice between the two." It's sad that it seems like a binary choice now that it's been so long and the industry's become such a mess, Capcom included.

If it requires a decent amount of hard work and it's Mega Man Legends related...It's not profitable for the DLC company, Unless it is to make fun of the series like that Rocket joke in Project X zone. Today most of the "great" ""GAME"" developers Only think about Toys, Phone apps, gimmicks, TV shows and movies, But they never try to make an good game...and that's what made them succeful on the first place, I get that they want money... But they also have to respect the people who buy their stuff.

Yeah, and that is where Inafune's series projects are currently one for three on. It worked for Battle Network over fifteen years ago, but we all know how Mighty No. 9 turned out, and I don't know how many of you are familiar with Kaio: King of Pirates, but that was a whopping disaster that cost almost as much money as what MN9 managed to raise. Only difference there was that everything on that one was canned, even the game.
But if anything actually does release for Red Ash here, I'd be stunned. It felt like the entire project was dead in the water from the word go, so color me surprised.
