Over 10 missions? :13: I'm sooo excited! I really wish we knew when the e Shop was launching for sure, I want to ensure that I have the day off (if I have work, I want to book the day off...can't do that unless I know when it's coming out)!!
I'm not sure how I feel about the storyboards thing yet, but as long as it's not sloppy I think I'll be fine with it.

Ten or more missions? That's an amazing amount of content for around $2.00 or so. With that much value for your dollar, it's much harder to justify complaints about the demo's cost. Can't wait 'til the 3DS eShop opens! After all, it shouldn't be too much longer now that it's May, eh? Re: ' Animated cutscenes'- Hm, Genspecs, it's hard to tell but you may have it wrong about the cutscenes. Admittedly this wording is a little vague... ...As you've interpreted it to mean 'before gameplay begins', but 'priot to the polygonal action' could also possibly be taken to mean the action in the cutscenes, giving the impression of the game having a 'before/after' dev thing going on with its cutscenes. But hey, who knows for sure? : o Re: Barret bike/police mech: Seems Barrett actually fights a police mech in the demo...that's a very Misadventures of Tron Bonne touch there (anyone remember PROT2?)! ;D Also nice to see that the other 'not-as-prominet' Bright Bat' members will get some spotlight time as well. : )

That police mech kind of reminds me of a giant street sweeper.

I hope we don't get anime cutscenes in the final. It just wouldn't feel as seamless without the 3D models sticking with us the whole time. I agree. I was fine with anime cutscenes in the Classic and ZX series, but it would make Legends 3 way too different if we were to have anime cutscenes. But I wouldn't mind an anime OVA to promote the game But I doubt CAPCOM would make one. I really dig that police mech. Denise, is that you?

I'm going to love those artworks that are shown between missions.
I think maybe its time to see if my collection is missing anything. ;D

*Cue massive sigh of relief*
THANK. GOODNESS. There's one more Legends aspect preserved.

The quote also implies that these cutscenes could be fully-re-done in the future—I'm thinking they're going to a re-dux of the Prototype in a month, with newly-animated cutscenes. And if this would be the case, then it's possible they'll be updating the Prototype with new content as development goes along further. Possible DLC involving kicking Bon Bonne's steel head around?

An interesting thought GS, buy the prototype and get new content as time passes. Yeah I think that will keep us busy until the next devroom event. I'm liking that idea very much.....

So wait, Bon the Soccer Bot has been confirmed? I read the last Kinako report, and wondered if it was.

@doccer K: Honestly, it's hard to tell whether or not Kinako/Ozkai were still joking about that one. : o From what I can interpret, the devs said they might turn it into some sort of similar minigame, but again, hard to tell...like the " Rockman DASH 3 THE Prologue! Showing You the Game’s Underbelly Version" subtitle Kinako's saying the game has in Japan. @genspecs: Ah-ha! Seems the MMN article did indeed have vague wording. As for monthly DLC revamps of the Prototype Version...fun idea for sure, but based on the trouble Capcom Coorporate's given the MML3 Devs that might be a hard sell for Mr. Famous and co.

So wait, Bon the Soccer Bot has been confirmed? I read the last Kinako report, and wondered if it was. Doesn't sound like they've actually implemented it yet, but they seem set on the idea. We'll almost certainly get to kick around Bon's head one way or another.

That's good news, 2D cutscenes are fine, but not in Legends, I think that would ruin the feel of the game. 10 missions for two bucks(plus the debug room and tooling around in the city) is a great, great deal. That's twenty cents a mission. I would have paid $20 bucks for that demo.

Looks like we have a date for the e-Shop: June 7th. It's disappointing to have to wait a little bit longer, but I get it. I'd bet that they weren't giving us a straight answer about the launch date because they're still working on the e-Shop/etc. (In other words, they weren't telling us because they honestly didn't know.) Supposedly Nintendo really wants to work on this thing to make sure it's as good as they want it to be; as a developer, I've gotta respect them for that. So yeah. Mark your calendars. As Protodude mentions, it's possible this date is for Japan only and the NA/etc. e-Shops will open sooner, but that's mostly just speculation, based on the fact that the 3DS cash cards have been sighted at Best Buy already. (Oh. I guess this could've gone in the 3DS topic. It's about as relevant here, though. :22:)
