It may be a bit long, but you covered all the points I think any DASH fan would want to make, wonderfully! I believe it should be kept as is. Also, you probably should like write it by hand like everybody's been saying. It's good!
((...now I have to whip up some means of advertising to get others to write as well...))

I checked the word moreso in Word and it doesn't have the word , it says its not spelled correctly, it put as more so. Please tell me if I'm wrong, but otherwise the letter is very good

It has everything you need to prove a point to capcom(at least if they don't autoreply the e-mail!), and it looks great.

Great job fab. For someone like you that is one darn fine letter. It makes your case, it says what you want to say, and it pretty much shows you mean business. However I have only two reservations. The first being that while the afore mentioned is good for you, being the captain of this movement and all, I am not quite sure everybody can write an epistle of such quality. That is to say, when you build a church you lay the foundation, you throw up the chapel, then you add on a spire or two. You're letter would be a spire, mine and everybody else who is actively contributing to this thread would be a part of the chapel and everybody else who agrees to write a letter would be our foundation. Is there a way we could make an online petition of people who would sign in without having to stuff fab's e-mail box so full it explodes? Think about it, it would be an easy way to keep track of how large the movement is getting, and it would provide some sort of minimal risk commitment from everybody who doesn't want to put in actual work on the effort (an interesting position to want to be in, but right now we need those short, 'I like MML' letters as much as fab's epistle because it just plain doesn't look like we have enough right now. As per my second problem, while the writing was overall good, it is an example, and he hasn't mailed it yet so don't get to caught up in any typo's (they happen ). I wonder whether that letter would look better as an e-mail, or printed out. (If you want to hand write something like that I would be very cautious simply because that's a really big job and if somebody has problems reading it then uh-oh). What I would like to see is either bullets, or spaces between all of the points you make, because I kept getting lost after I read one, considered it, then tried to pick up where I was. Otherwise your three points are vital and I might suggest we start it out with Dear Capcom, or something like that, because we're not serving them with a legal document. Bravo, that must have been killer writing, and it's a good reference to finally learn where that Keiji rumor came from.

I got a reply by a Capcom guy... Guess what... the typical reply:
"Hello,
Thank you for contacting Capcom. We always welcome comments and questions from avid fans such as yourself, and appreciate the time you took to share them with us.
Unfortunately, I do not have any additional information to offer you at this time. Please check out our website periodically for possible news and info which will answer your questions.
Best wishes, Jeff Leung Capcom Customer Service 408-774-0400"
I bet if more of us e-mail, they might actually reply.

People from capcom probably ignored it just by looking at the subject... e-mail could work if enough people did it but if we also used other stuff(like mail) maybe it get them listen. then again, they could continue to be jerks and send a generic reply

*cough* Auto-Reply *cough*
Yeah, they can do that. Just setup a program to provide a wonderful generic response. I'm sure they read some of the e-mails but seriously, they must get zillions. Which is why I figured we should all have something in common with our letters or emails. Just like fab said, we could put "MegaMan Legends Alliance" on it. It's that simple, really. but we don't wanna screw that up, cuz like fab also said(I think that was fab) it could ruin us as well... Hmm... Well I just figured I'd get in my 2 cents.

Lol... Auto-Reply.
Hmmm... I think we should actually think about the plan before actually executing it.

That fact of the matter it there have been letter organizations before us and MML oriented or not there will be more after us, however the thing that must set us apart is our goals. We can't just send five dozens letters that say we want what we want, we can't even send five thousand letters that say that, simply because its been done. A Capcom ran website aimed directly on the status of MML should be one of our goals, and likewise getting fab noticed because he's our leader (I might have some outlandish suggestions, but the buck ends there). ZFGoku what did you ask them specifically? I mean if you're talking to some... , corporate grunt then what is he going to know about MML in the first place? Since G4 apparently isn't as MML keen as we would like then might I suggest we don't try to make apple liquor out of peaches (if you know what I mean). Try advertising at MM sites first, but, as mentioned, we do need to refuel the think tank first.

I didn't really say much:
" My name is Keenan Weaver, I'm 15 years old, and I LOVE Mega Man! I believe the most underrated version of MegaMan is the Legends series, which only had two games. (three if you count Misadventures of Tron Bonne) Legends is easily the best version of MegaMan, it's so much fun, definately one of the greatest video games of all time.
Enough of my ranting, now to the questions:
Were there any plans for a Legends 3?
Is Capcom willing to make a Legends 3?
It seems all my favorite video game series are dying on me! (Wing Commander, Crusader, Heavy Gear)
From the mouths of ALOT of MegaMan fans.... Please make a MegaMan Legends 3!
Thank you so much!
-Keenan"

A very decent letter, and while the reply definitely could have been better, what are you gonna do? Our day will come, but we have to decide on what action comes first, advertising, getting more practice letters for preparation, or electrifying our MML base? That is up to our leader.

This is why we have to stand out. YEARS ago(2), I wrote a letter that basically said the same thing, the differences being it was worded differently and I got no reply whatsoever.
We have to get our point through, is all I'm saying. And fab's letter is an excellent way of doing so, but we need to make sure that they read it. They can do that Auto Reply thing I was talking about. Another reason I think that regular means of Mail would suit our cause better. It doesn't cost much to mail, really just the cost of stamps, right? So it shouldn't be too hard to do by that means, right?

I have an idea, I'll use my other e-mail address (dbfan12@yahoo.com) and re-write a message, and I'll see if it's the same reply!

If they actually do have an auto reply then I'll make a hat out of fruit roll up's and eat it. But maybe they do. And if they do then a letter like fab's would either make it explode or demand human inspection.
When what comes to what, I do believe that we should try for both, e-mail, and direct mail, although in what way is yet to be decided. Its a challenge restraining yourself from ranting when you have such a good thing to write about. All the same, go a head and try, I'm very interested to see if they have the same things to see if you sign that letter with a different name.

Auto Reply is simple enough.... really.
Look at it. Just look at that reply there. C'mon, what does that have to do with anything ZFGoku said? "Thank you for your comments, unfortunately I(a supposed Capcom employee, mind you) have no information about that topic. Please check our website for details."
C'mon. That's a generic, standard reply e-mail, followed up by a cheap advertisement for their website. The Auto Reply exists. Heck, I've seen people do it before. Like they'll set up a vacation reply thing for when their gone. Yeah, like that, but 24/7.
Honestly people, do you know how many obsessed fans, or otherwise just fans would take advantage of E-mailing Capcom for no reason? They must get tons of email, probably on a daily basis. And a lot of the people talk li3k t|-|1$, or something like it. I seriously doubt anybody there would take the time to send an honest reply to every n00by, or non-n00by person who emails them.
Which is why we have to stand out. Ya know?
