Yeah, matthew, that's been covered already. Read Keiji Inafune's response on some interview site (the URL escapes me, currently) Anyway, it's very true, and he's busy with the ZX series, and he might possibly make more of the Powered-Up Series and Maverick Hunter. Then again, those are just remakes, and might be out of his power to alter, seeing as how he just writes the original scripts and stories, then by the time they get to the public, they're so altered it's almost as if it's a completely different game. But yeah, expect to see some form of preview, or maybe even demo of sorts by 2007, DASH's 10 year anniversary. And as far as the petition goes, no. Pointless, as Pitch said. It would prove useless. I'm not being pessimistic or negative, I'm thinking realistically. They don't care about a bunch of kids wants (and NEEDS . INAFUNE!!!!!!!!!!!) So let it go for now, let's all be thankful that he promised as much as he did.

As far as finding people to help with the petition, don't forget such sites as DeviantArt, plus I have a few forums I could post on myself that have huge amounts of members and many willing to contact Capcom over such a matter. You are quite mistaken. Although a petition wouldn't cause immediate results, if they can see that there is a big enough market for the game they will consider working on it sooner more and more. Also, Capcom is quite loyal to their fans. Heck, I got a personal response and plenty of help whenever I asked about some problems with my copy of Legends (and asked about the possibility of a MM1 or 2 port to the DS ^_^). Not only that (if feel like adding this in) but one guy in England was unhappy with a game or service of theirs (can't remember the specifics) and they sent him a new complete BBQ utensil set and a bunch of Capcom memrobilia (even though what he was complaining to them about wasn't something really major either) My point to this long rambling is that Capcom likes to please it customers and keep their fans happy. By having this petition, it may show how much we really love the D.A.S.H. series and it may urge them to really consider working on it sooner.

I signed the petition before I joined this forum. I think it's fairly ridiculous that Capcom would allow the creation of a Dino Crisis 3 before a creation of Mega Man Legends 3.

On the fact of 'E-mailing' CapCom, how do we get hold of a E-Mail adress?

It's in this topic somewhere, but in any case it's a waste of time e-mailing them.

Quite sad, but hey, there are alot of other games out there, gorgeous ones to boot. So we should look ahead & occasionally go back to when PS was big or even NES, but we shouldn't dwell. Plus, sad as it is, the Megaman Legends series was actually unwanted by most and old school Megaman fans. (As mentioned before.)
Everyone apparently loved that 2D gameplay (Which by the way is sweet), which also showed how close minded those gamers really were to the release of Megaman Legends.
I agree with Green & mmlegends2, they really never listen & gamers nowadays are too attached to series & routine plots, it tends to get quite irritable, but hell, we can't do anything about it.
