You should also make a side page for all the submissions to be properly listed, because as much as i love the random thumbnail selection, it's hard to see a specific submission when you have a 1/11 chance of getting it right, although i think you'll do it even without me asking for that.
Also, i saw most of the thumbs, and i must confess that i felt warm and fuzzy inside, watching projects come to fruition, even if you're not skilled at it, is always fun. And i saw that i wasn't the only one who made a flash movie, now i feel bad because i didn't really give it my all (didn't have the time).
Oh well, i hope the one whom i made it from is happy with it.

Sorry qwert, I'm just following along with Eggnog's timeline.
And yeah, that's definitely the plan Mir@k. I've already got a little "coming soon" message at the bottom of the site's fan art page.
I need to get last year's Secret Santa gallery together as well. I know I was meaning to do it but I have a vague recollection of deciding to wait until all entries came in--which they never did, which I guess is why I never did. o.o
Anyway, forgot to mention in my last post, major thanks to our local Melty, Eggnog-flavored, Malt of a Milkshake for coming through for us all with the whole organization of this event!

AAAAAAAAAAND WE’RE DONE. That’s a wrap, people. Gifts have been linked to in the second post, so enjoy. Mediums are listed as well, if they were given. If any more pieces come in, they’ll be added to the list as they’re received. See any errors? Tell us quick. Thanks muchly. Though gratitude should really be extended to everyone else here as well. To everyone who chose to participate, even those who couldn’t finish or felt that they could have done better, props. Trust me on this, someone out there is happier for it. And if you learned anything in the process, so much the better. We had a few stumbles (apologies to anyone I hassled over the whole crop thing), but all went well in the end. If we try this event again, we now know that much more about how not to do it, so hopefully it’ll all be more streamlined. In any case, the official part of the event is now over, so feel free to discuss whatever comes to mind now. Do say a few words about your piece for everyone else, if you like. And if anyone is interested in getting a more serious critique, feel free to say so; anyone interested in giving them is encouraged to do so. But keep it civil, of course. Anyway, it’s nearly 4 in the morning now, and I should have been asleep yesterday. So, I bid you all goodnight. And, to those who celebrate it, Merry Christmas.

Good night, Eggshake Milknog, and good work. Jeebus fab, that's unbelievable. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the other Flash, because the link won't work for me. :/

Likewise, here's its home on Legends Station: Secret Santa Art Event 2009 GalleryIt's definitely a smooth vid, nice job Mir@k. It's undoubtedly the most polished of the submissions. Dashe, you're truly twisted. XD Thanks for the gift! Glad you liked mine, Razor. It's not at all what I was envisioning at first, style wise. I wanted to experiment with an "animated color" idea I had, but then the story kind of came together in my head and I realized how short 24 hours can be. I hardly had time to do the rough sketchy version, but that turned out to be even better in a way, because my challenge became "Rough Sketch Animated Storyboard" instead, which is something I've really never done either and it was a good experience. By the way Mlt, I need some verification on Ninja's picture. I put it on the site as being "Smile for the Camera" but your post lists it as "Miserable Pets, AKA. Servbots". I see how it could be either, but I still think it looks more like the former than the latter, so please let me know if I'm indeed wrong and it needs changing. Thanks for the clarification on that, Dashe!

Let me just say that Qwerman's artwork is so much more than what I was expecting that I was at a loss for words when I saw the thumbnail yesterday. It is indistinguishable from official art, right down to the style of the coloring. Even the background has great attention to detail, and the smoking font and paint-splatter heart were very nice touches. I couldn't have asked for anything more; I've even made it my desktop's background.
Now let me apologize for my own entry, which I had to do in about three hours, due to the fact that there is only one internet connection in my house (as opposed to my trusty dorm room) and I could not be on it after a certain time. Still, despite how rushed it was, I think I got the intended humor across pretty well (and I am quite partial to the expression on Trigger's face). Really wish I had remembered to sign and title it, though.

Blyka, if you're reading this, YOU ROCK. Your artwork has inspired a cracked-out backstory that will have the entire forum convinced I need to lay off the caffeine. Let's just say Teisel refused to settle for a temporary tattoo when he cashed his tickets in...

Glad you like it Captain! ;D I sort of meant it as a desktop background (notice the abundant space on the right for icons?) I admit I did trace the official art as a basis for roll and the armor but honestly I cant draw worth shatcakes unless I'm tracing and I wanted to get to the fun part- the background. I must say it was a great learning experience and I may just do some more. And Mir@k, HOLY CRAP! Your animation had me ROFL all over the place. Shut up about not having enough time because that's got to be one of the best christmas surprises I've ever had. Well, merry Christmas all. I've enjoyed looking through everyone's creations. They've all got their own charm to them, and I look forward to any latecomers!

Alright i got a little time before my bus takes me away to the motherland so i'll try to express what i feel about all the submissions.
I was very impressed with the pixelly art made by snowman, not only because it shows the effort, but because he chose a rather unusual tool: MARIO PAINT. That's original content right there. And i can recognize all characters with ease!
I thank LE a lot for the pic because it is exactly what i wanted, you can even feel the akward ambience of the store going silent and staring as he grabs a box of Mega Panty (does it say that?), i do think that the pic could have been better with some known NPC's instead of normal people, but art wise the expressions do their job smoothly and it is a very cool piece. Thanks again!
I don't care if qwertman's artwork was traced, seeing a different cap color on Roll that still manages to suit her is awesome enough to make up for that, if i didn't have a wallpaper that i am happy with, i'd instantly wear it. Ah, thanks qwertman for liking the flash, although i'm a bit ashamed of the points i mentioned, plus, the only medium i explored this time was voice acting since i've never really done it before. Sorry for the suck. xD
About Razor's, i had to think hard about the pizza made by tron, i didn't remember any part of any of the three games where Tron made or ate pizza, when it came to me (the cutscene before the fight against Bruno). It really is a tough choice, sweet or salty?
Fab's one made me feel shame on my flash movie because his script is infinitely better than mine and he can draw full bodied people with ease (the hands, THE HANDS, they are GREAT), it would have been cool if it could have buttons for navigation between frames instead of the timed transitions, but that's justa minority, it was a very enjoyable flash quickie.
Tauvertex, i lol'd. That's about it, i lol'd a lot. How much fabric did the bonnes have to use to cover the whole thing? xD
Mr Ninja's submission made me lol a bit too, Tron's just waiting to snap a picture, but if they're crying, they won't give santa tiesel a good impression with the other kids, no?
The amount of resources mixed to form Dashe's picture was what impressed me the most, even though the mediums used could screw up an image when not used together correctly, Dashe managed to pull up a LEEROY JENKINS and succeeded flawleslly. The theme was extremely funny and now i understand what good things can come by free interpretation of a few words.
Mlt's backgrounds always leave me in awe, the detail on the scenery takes my mind away from the theme of the picture, but even so, i can't help but feel sorry towards megaman, he's about to get owned pretty hard by a rain of snowballs. Not to mention Bon's giant one.
Finally, i don't think that Blyka was "the suck" as he thought he would be, i've never been to a chuck-e-cheese because there are none in mexicania, but if i use my imagination i can think that it is pizza hut or something and the picture still achieves it's purpose. Me like it.

Just noticed macrocosmic goodness in Mlt's work! (The cliff bon is standing on looks like the top of his head) Don't know if it was intentional or not, but thought it was cool.

Thanks. Admittedly, the background really was my primary focus with mine. I went through a few ideas for how to handle Snowman's suggestion (I first considered making an animated gif, but didn't have the software available. Then I thought I'd try some kind of mock war propaganda poster, but it felt just a little too within my comfort zone), but in the end I settled on trying some environmental drawing. Environments are something I've really been putting off on learning, so I figured this would be a good a time as any to try my hand at it. The background in there is probably the most extensive one I've ever painted, and I'm happy with what I learned. I do wish I could have found a way to work the theme into it more. I tried making it as though you were viewing a massive impending snowball war from above, but as you said, I think the impact was lost. The characters really ended up not having enough prominence. XD Actually, that was entirely unintentional. Those spikes are just those massive spires of ice you see in the official artwork of Forbidden Island. I thought that it would look nice to frame Bon with them. Interesting observation, though. I think I commented on a lot of the submissions over PM, but here's some extra thoughts: Quert, despite that image being a trace, there were enough alterations done that I actually thought you did it from scratch at first glance, so kudos for messing with my head. If the focus was really on the background, though, I like the piece that much more. And not just because I can relate. All the elements meld very well together. Snowman, after doing a little more looking into how Mario Paint works, I think I should probably give you more praise. I imagine working in such a limited program is no easy task. Mirak, I wasn't able to view yours when you first sent it because of some error or other, but awesome work. I couldn't understand some of the dialogue without the notes, but there's no way I would have been able to guess that all the voices were done by a single person. Each characters' voice was very distinct. In that sense, I think you really succeeded with the acting. The animation and music is what impressed me the most, though. Especially the music. The piano track set a nice mood. Also, I got a few extra giggles out of the proposed backstory to Blyka's picture.
