A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. However, the title of this mod seems to be scaring some people off, so I'm changing it. Meet "Rockman DASH: New Spirit of Steel".

Haha, good. The original was pretty ridiculous.

Haha, good. The original was pretty ridiculous. The mod itself was going to be pretty ridiculous, but it seems more people are interested in a straight remake, and I don't exactly blame them. Regardless, Capcom would probably like it better this way, and that's good if I hope to attract their attention.

Haha, good. The original was pretty ridiculous. It was supposed to be. I for one am not interested in a straight remake. I liked your " ridiculous" idea better, even if it scared people away.

Yeah i also felt a certain warmth each time i saw the title. The new title sounds a bit like those fangames that are never made.

I like the straight remake idea better; parody can be extremely hard to pull off, and now you won't have to worry about it. Also, you can now just use the actual sound clips from the game if you want to instead of getting voice actors.
Anyways, I still wish you had decided to make an original game, rather than a remake of any sort, but I'm glad to see that at least the project is still going.

I for one am not interested in a straight remake. I liked your " ridiculous" idea better, even if it scared people away. If it keeps you interested… Current feature ideas: - "The cake is a lie" hidden in a ruin.
- Mini-game: "Gesselschaft 3D".
- Kick Data.
- Kick Ira.
- Kick everyone else.
- Mir@k's underpants thing.
The new title sounds a bit like those fangames that are never made. If we don't get a 3D animator soon, that's what this might become. Ask around; see if anyone will help. Also, you can now just use the actual sound clips from the game if you want to instead of getting voice actors. No, I can't do that. Especially since the main character is going to be called "Rock". Anyways, I still wish you had decided to make an original game, rather than a remake of any sort, but I'm glad to see that at least the project is still going. I'd love to make an original, non-Legends game as a side project, but, again, without a 3D animator, that would be impossible. SERIOUSLY WE STILL NEED A 3D ANIMATOR

When you lack 3D help, learn 3D. Sometimes doing things yourself is the best way. =O Either that or hire one, that'll require money. Money you prob don't have sooo uh, you told me you tried everywhere and no one is interested. That's partially understandable, there aren't that many 3D animators that have allegiance with this series.

Blender's animation is easy enough to understand, and if you need help you can ask me! I taught myself, and although I'm not the best, I know how to rig, IK, and how to place multiple animations on an object. There are a bunch of tutorials online as well.

Because I'm too embarrassed to put it into my own words, the following response to Mir@k and duo will be made entirely of Wikipedia quotes. Ready? Go. Blender's animation is easy enough to understand, and if you need help you can ask me! I taught myself, and although I'm not the best, I know how to rig, IK, and how to place multiple animations on an object. There are a bunch of tutorials online as well. Learning disability (sometimes called a learning disorder or learning difficulty), is a disorder in which a person has a difficulty to learn effectively, caused by an unknown factor or factors. A segue is a smooth transition from one topic or section to the next. Either that or hire one, that'll require money. Money you prob don't have Supplemental Security Income (or SSI) is a monthly stipend provided to aged (legally deemed to be 65 or older), blind, or disabled persons based on need, paid by the United States Government.

I'm trying to be a better person on this forum by not being mean and refraining from making comments that might be hurtful, but this reply o' yours sounds like "omg i can't learn me nothing" without even trying, so yeah the little hope i had for this project is officially in the bin.
I'm sorry to hear that you have that disorder thing, btw. And that you are blind, or disabled, or 65+.
I wish you good luck on your affairs, i guess i'll go back to work on KP now.

"omg i can't learn me nothing" without even trying I have tried 3D modelling as well as programming. I don't mean to use my disability as an excuse; I'm merely saying, if I could learn it, I would. For now, and likely for the rest of my life, I'm stuck begging for help with whatever my brain rejects. Right now, that's 3D animation. Apology may refer to: An expression of regret

Hm, I don't buy it. Animation can be broken down into small enough chunks, which can be individually learned without too much effort. Modeling and programming can be difficult, but animation is a step by step linear process.
Anyway, judging by the type of forum you visit, you have plenty of years left before you can decide whether or not you can do something.
@mirak: It's fun when you're quarrelsome. Keep it up!

Oh. Well, I've never tried animation before, so I suppose I'll give a tutorial a shot. Edit: ARGH! duo, really, you seem determined to not help me no matter what, but I'll pay you to do this for me. This program is an absolute nightmare… Edit 2: Man, I feel so embarrassed and ashamed. What can I do to lighten the mood? How about a funny outtake?

Don't worry, I've tried Blender, and it is a nightmare. But then I'm also likely a lot younger than you guys, hence my inability to contribute anything (Middle School, to be exact). I've been trying on and off to learn A) HTML and B) Blender or any other 3d modeling device. EDIT: But I can do RPG Maker! *Is shot by the collective of the community*
