Ooh, you're right.
That would be pretty freaking scary.

I can't wait to work on the SDK again.
In fact, I can't wait to have another Source SDK programmer at my side to help me!

So will the dungeons be the same? It seems like a remake would be better with re-mapped dungeons because they were sort of... straightforward and niche-ey (made up word), not as adventurous as they could have been (MML2's are definitely better). They'll be the same levels, but, of course, custom levels can always be made! Also, there will be some extra levels, too; mostly for multiplayer and such. I can't wait to work on the SDK again. I can't wait to have some Reaverbots to put in the levels! In fact, I can't wait to have another Source SDK programmer at my side to help me! Hang in there...

It's been almost a week since my last post, so I'm stopping by for a quick update.
First of all, just as Voulnet suggested I do, I've managed to find a Source programmer who, luckily, happens to have played and enjoyed the Legends series.
Second of all, DrScience123 seems to be overworked and I might have to do some mapping myself. Of course, it won't be as good, but the last thing I need is him quitting. Don't quit, man!

That's great to hear! Please introduce me to him so we can have technical discussion of all sorts.
I'm sorry I have been AWOL the past few days, something came up regarding continuing my graduation project, so you'll have to excuse me. I have resumed reading Valve's tutorials today.
Again, why don't you introduce the Source programmer to this thread?
Also, hang in there, DrScience, you're doing a great job, no need to overwork yourself!

I'm in standby! ;D I cannot help much with anything else that's not music, but maybe i can make some posters "sprays" for you to paste in the city.

Again, why don't you introduce the Source programmer to this thread? I think I did. Either way, he knows about the IRC channel. We should meet there sometime. Also, hang in there, DrScience, you're doing a great job, no need to overwork yourself! I think I know enough now to make a pretty decent basic map, but, unfortunately, this mod needs better-than-basic maps! Maybe I can make a map and he can make it better. It definitely beats forcing him to do everything himself. I cannot help much with anything else that's not music, but maybe i can make some posters "sprays" for you to paste in the city. I don't think that would work, but what do I know? I'm a lousy mapper. Good things come to those who wait.

The halflife engine supports the ability to put a "spray" on any surface in game. Like in counterstrike you can spray markers on walls. This would be great for the underground, you could put markings so you know where you've already been,

I'd prefer it to be easy to get lost in the ruins, actually! But we can use the sprays so that Trigger writes "The apricot pie is a lie!" on Lake Jynn ruins.

Nono, "spraying" is boring in a 1 player game because noooooone else will ever see them unless you add multiplayer support (which i encourage the developers not to do until the 1 player game is finished unless they want to have headaches and ragequits right now), i was referring to posters already placed in kattelox, like the "don't kick us!" posters you find on the walls in the city.

Just a quick update to show you it's not dead. First of all, happy birthday to our excellent mapper, DrScience123! Next, I'd like to link everyone to our page on Mod DB, which is apparently already being watched by six people! The page has some newer screenshots, so check it out. And, finally, on a sad note, our team is kinda stuck and I can't find any new recruits to help us. I'll keep trying.

Good to see comments on the Mod DB page. I have three simultaneous projects of mixed priorities so give me more time to arrange my stuff. Two of those projects are designed for disabled people so I have to give them a good amount of my development time. Oh, and happy birthday, DrScience!

I must say, those are some very nice looking ruin screenshots. Excellent job remaking the textures. =)
