I also have small experience in map making, but I've only made maps in doom games, considering this is a different engine your using it would probably be harder I assume, but I wouldn't mind casting for random citizens and I could try Juno. I'm bad at monotone voice acting though. edit : Heres my attempt at Juno. www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=9af07191318acf3b5a3d773badf21430e04e75f6e8ebb871I need to adjust my tone more I think.

I have a little experience with both, and I can honestly say Source mapping is just as easy as Doom mapping. Maybe even easier. No, seriously. As for the voice acting, if you tried to act a little more feminine and just talk like a human, I think it would be great. You might want to consider getting a better microphone if you can, though. Edit: You know what? This is a difficult decision, but I might have to change my mind. I need quality, so I might have to save the part of Juno for someone with fancy equipment. Sorry. You have the right voice, though! Edit 2: That might go for Legendary Emerald, too. Sorry. I just need this to sound good.

Well I switched to my better microphone and adjusted it's range and such awhile ago if you want to see the difference click the same link and listen to here we go.wav I was just messing around with that one to try out the new settings.
If you still don't like it that's ok, I still have a lot to learn about voice acting anyways. Also if you ever need a backup mapper just ask.

Cleveland, I have a friend who recently found out how to rip 3d models+textures straight from a final fantasy game so that he could apply bone-systems to them and animate them. If Megaman Legends for PC uses DirectX then he's all set to do the same (as far as I know). He's working on a MMORPG right now (coding the engine) but I think that's not been doing so well so I'll send him over to you, see if he wants to help. EDIT: BTW if I ever succeed in my quest to meet Rob Smith, I'll see if he wants to help you out.

Important update for those who don't have Half-Life 2 but want to play this mod! Steam is currently selling Half-Life 2: Episode Two (the version we're modding) for $5.09 USD (66% off). While we're hoping the mod will eventually work with Episode One (currently $3.39 USD), we can't promise that it will. The deal is only good for this weekend, so I thought I'd give you a quick warning to save you some money! Oh, and I suppose I should point out that it's probably not a good idea to get Half-Life 2 if you're under 15 or so. It has gross dead things in it. Cleveland, I have a friend who recently found out how to rip 3d models+textures straight from a final fantasy game so that he could apply bone-systems to them and animate them. If Megaman Legends for PC uses DirectX then he's all set to do the same (as far as I know). Thanks, but no thanks. We're doing our own models, and, so far, they're looking pretty good! Right now, we only have one modeller, but that will change as soon as we have flashy, pretty screenshots to show people. EDIT: BTW if I ever succeed in my quest to meet Rob Smith, I'll see if he wants to help you out. They all seem to be up there in Ontario somewhere. I'm sure the only way I'd be able to convince any of them is if I paid them a lot of money or if it was just one line or something. I might be able to sneak in a really quick Tracy Ryan cameo if I'm extremely lucky! However, I'd be really happy just getting this guy to help out. Anyone know who he is? Anyone at all? It's gotta be someone in this list, and JMC47 forgets who did it. Edit: Perhaps we can eliminate some people. It can't be BlueRobotGirl or Dashe, since, well, it's obvious to me that a man did that voice.

Wow, that's one frakking good Tiesel voice. I don't think it's Fab's voice either!

Sorry to burst into the thread like this... but I'm about 80% sure that aarond did the Tiesel Voice, just based on looking at the list. He also the Barrel voice, and I think they're alike enough that it could be him. Sorry to him if I'm wrong, but, I'm pretty sure I'm right, or I wouldn't be posting this.
Good Luck

Just a quick note for you guys who are wondering where I am: I'm currently in the process of switching to Ubuntu (because I'm a nerd), so I might be a little while before I get back to work. I think Roll might be a Linux nerd. It would certainly explain her red hat and love of penguins.
