I'll give it a shot as well. I've been wanting to try my artwork. It's not the best but it'll give me some more practice. My request: I'd like to see Dragge versus Nemesis. Since I don't recognize those as MML characters, in case one of us were to end up receiving this assignment, it might be a good idea to give a description as to what they look like or some idea of where they've been written about. A link would be good.

OMG, are you people serious?! You are collectively pulling my leg. Jerking my chain. You’re all preparing to jump up and yell April Fools, aren’t you? Seriously, this has already ballooned ridiculously beyond my expectations. I was hoping for maybe a handful of people if we were lucky, but no. We’ve got, like... at least 2.5 handfuls at this point. We probably even have enough to justify that spot I reserved in the second post for a list of participants. Thank you all. This could be more interesting than I imagined it’d be. Indeed, things have gone well. Thank you, Fab. Let’s hope the follow-through also goes smoothly. (I swear, I’m going to capitalize your name forever. o.o) And... I’m not really versed in the etiquette of running forum events, but I guess I’ll take this opportunity to thank everyone else again for the interest. It’s also nice to see some familiar faces coming out of the woodwork. And I said it over there already, but thanks for the advert on DA, Inclover. It really wasn’t necessary, but ‘twas appreciated. AIM, I WOULD HAVE TOTALLY RIGGED YOU WITH THAT AIRSHIP REQUEST IF INCLOVER DIDN’T CHANGE IT. I might participate, but I’d like to see through a couple of other obligations that might carry over into next week first. Also, I can’t think of any ideas for requests. Maybe I’ll just give whoever gets my name carte blanche to do what they want. ------ Anyway, slight edit: I’m adding that bit about using a new technique/style/medium/et cetera to the rules list, as I just realized I forgot it. Also adding a bit about providing reference images/descriptions for fan characters and outside characters as needed. Probably won’t be necessary for Ness, though I’m going with Aim on the Dragge/Nemesis picture. Alas, I’m not familiar with them either. A reference would be helpful. In addition, Dashe pointed out that individual people might not want the gift they are being given to have any mature content in it. So, also added to the rules: If you don’t care for that sort of thing and you don’t want the image being done for you to have any mature content, feel free to specify so within the sign-up period, and we’ll ask that the person drawing for you respect that.

Can I sign up to? I want to get back into drawing, and it'd be good kick-start. :3 Plus I owe tons of people art.
My request: Maria's daughter (y'know, the one in the pink coat from Yosyonke) with the fox (y'know, also found in Yosyonke).

Here are their descriptions.
Dragge: Looks like an older version of Trigger with same type of facial features except his hair is longer in the front. His armor is the same as Trigger's with black as the primary color and dark grey as a secondary. On the top center of his torso armor bears his classic "D" symbol. His buster looks the same as Trigger's. His secondary weapon is an upgraded version of the Machine Buster from the first game.
Nemesis: A rough face with five-o-clock shadow with military style hair and he has a muscular build. His armor is similar in style to Bola's armor with primarily medium grey as the color and black streaks forming a "V" shape on his torso. His only weapon is an energized scythe (think Sigma's scythe from X4).
I hope that helps anyone out there.
Edit:
Dragge: Navy blue almost black eyes and dark brown hair. The legs and lower arms of Dragge's armor looks like X's armor from The first seven X games.
Nemesis: Green eyes and dirty blonde hair.

*stumbles in clutching handfuls of paperwork* All right, sorry for the delay. For lack of any better ways to go about with it, I’ve written everyone’s names on slips of paper and pulled them out of one of my numerous glasses cases. Everyone’s match-ups should now be waiting neatly in their in-box. If anyone suspects there's an error, please say so. I'm hoping I've got everything sorted out correctly, though. And a thank-you to Dashe, who went ahead and listed all the participants and requests in the second post. Saved me a lot of trouble. o.o I’ve also added my own request to the list: “Point-blank”. Meant to post it up on Friday, but as per usual, deadlines hate me. Now then, I suppose we can officially begin the fun part. Begin work at your leisure, but remember, you’ve only got about a week. That, and you’re experimenting; can’t bail yourself out with old techniques on this one. ... Well, I mean... You could. Not like we’d know. We don’t monitor all of your lives as far as you’re concerned. But if you don’t try something new, you’re kind of missing out. o.o The starting pistol has fired. GET TO IT.

I totally got the one I was hoping for I really can't wait to see what people come up with. Thinking outside the box is rarely something people like to stress in art events like these.

I've got the sketch done, just need to ink and color it.
Did I mention I suck at both of those? D:

Same here. I've got mine totally completed today (finished the colorings to it). I should be able to get it to Emeltee tomorrow.

Mhm, I've just finished practices sketches and planning things. It'll probably be finished in time for the deadline, though.

Mine is... taking longer than I thought it would. This event has reminded me how much I suck as doing dynamic perspective in a timely manner. I’m liking it so far, though I may have to just rush the rest to make the deadline. DX
Curse my procrastination. I should have started earlier this week.
Anyway, glad to see people are making progress. We’ve got a couple of finished entries already, and all is looking well.
And to Zetta: Yeah, I thought there might have been at least one or two writers that would want in on this. Alas, accommodations were never made. Maybe someone could do something some time next year.

Argh, company came over and what not, progress is slow and so was my decision on how to vary the medium or style, since I unfortunately left my tablet at my college dorm.
I hope I'll have something in some time tomorrow... I'll have to get some big progress today to make that happen, though.

So when we're finished, what do we do with them? Post them here, or PM the person? and mine might be a little bit late. I've been really busy lately but I should be able to finish it by tomorrow...
