Wouldn't it be nice if the site had a little Christmas cheer? Two years back I changed the home page image to a 3D servbot with a Santa hat, tried to get something done for last year but it didn't work out. This year, I'd like to give anyone and everyone a chance to come up with some sort of fan image to celebrate the holiday.
Specifications:
1. Make the image 600x400.
2. Make sure it's Christmas themed, and Legends of course.
3. Include the site's name and your own on it.
Easy enough? There's only a week till Christmas Eve, so I'm not looking for a masterpiece, just something quick and fun that looks nice. Hopefully at least one of the talented people around here will take up the challenge. If by chance more than one person comes up with something good, I'll alternate them.

That's a fun idea Fab, I'll have to jump own it!  Besides, I can always use another excuse to draw Legends characters over and over and over again. And with funny expressions, which you can bet you'll have your due share of when I'm done... Agh! I've got too many projects now! I have to make a new devART ID, a "Thanks for 1000 page views" picture, a club ID for the megaman-legends-club, and a 600x400 picture!  |

I was thinking more along the lines of fan art, but you can't beat that for instant results! Thanks Chiz!

I’m thinking something with the Master. Who to represent Legends better? Him and a few other system members. Yes, that would be nice. Now I just need to figure out what they’ll be doing.
And yes, I look forward to seeing yours too, AimMan.
And just out of curiosity... will we need to put that “Looking for Legends” bit on the image, like Chiz did, or is only the site name necessary? o.o

Yet another thing I'd need artistic talent for... curses! This sounds like phun though, so I'll keep my eyes on it. Dunno if I can make any contribution, unless modified sprites would count; I might do those..  dig the picture, Chiz.  |

Oooh, six away from the big day and the competition is getting fierce! Well, sort of... there's still only one picture to speak of. My first post said nothing about the slogan, so no it's not necessary. Chiz is just trying to earn Brownie points. XP Pitch, if you can manage to decently fill up a 600x400 space with modified sprites, that would surely be something to see... Unless you were using big sprites like NxC or MoTB ones, they might make it a bit easier. |

What I have time to do, probably couldn't fill 600x400. I think I might did mod one of my own, and I been toying with the idea of making maybe three others - though I doubt I even have time for that. Nevermind, then.

ooooh, this sounds like the perfect time to ask bonnelord (my dad, if you didnt know) to do some artwork.
ill get him to work on it as soon as he has some spare time
my dad did the european motb box art, so he should have a lot of tron stuff on his computer, he might be able to do something with it

Teisel, I’ve heard you mention a couple of times that your father drew the cover art on one of the cases. I don’t suppose you could be persuaded to share some of your father’s art with us? Maybe some stuff that wasn’t released to the public, or that isn’t on the site? I’m sure a lot of people would love to see some new official/concept art around here. o.o
Anyway, if you could get your father to draw us something, that would be great. I’d think the Capcom artists would be able to draw the characters better then us, and an original piece for the site would be something to show off.

Not bad. I commend you on drawing the Gustaf. I would have never attempted one of those machines... too many lines. I also love the way you draw Trigger’s hand. You have a way with armor.
And it’s nice to finally be able to gauge the competition. Hopefully, more will start going up soon...

That certainly is quite an awesome drawing.  looks like something Capcom would do themselves... awesomely CG'ed too. The hats are a nice touch. ;D |

It's actually more ambitious than anything I thought anyone might take the time to come up with. 6 characters plus 2 different servbots AND the Gustaff. I thank you! Still a few days left, don't think I wouldn't mind seeing more! |
