He actually is a robot in the Classic MegaMan series, which is the thing that confused fans the most about him. How does a robot boy from 20XX make the transition to a human/carbon a few thousand years later? It's only more reason to believe that Trigger is in fact a carbon, as although carbons are the humans exact copies, I'm sure that they are different in ways unexplained.
I actually just think that Rock's information was passed on from Classic to X, then X to Zero (thus, the creation of the Copy X's from X's "DNA/Information") from X in Zero to the Master System, then from the Master System to Trigger. But eh, that's an entirely different topic of discussion so, yeahp. We really need to make a theory thread... Hmm...

If Trigger is a carbon copy of X, then he would basically have been a reproduction of a robot--only in the Master's age, instead of just building a robot, he created a carbon to look like X. I don't think Trigger was ever really a robot--just a copy of one.

but the Master (from what I can remember) that is X's exact DNA not just a copy but that would Trigger is X.

everybody likes to assume he is but than the have some people think he's a robot and really that wouldn't make sense considing both Roll and Tron (allgedy) are in love with him.

While Tron and Roll could be in love with him and not KNOW he was a robot, I really thing he is either a carbon or some other kind of organic life form. I mean, we see that he can dress in to other clothes. Also, it seems like with all the battle damage he must've recieved, eventually Roll would point out, "Megaman, you have wires coming out of your arm." Unless, of course, Trigger had some kind of artificial organic system that looks like a real system, but then it seems like that wouldn't put him too far away from a compatibility with carbons anyhow.

that would explain alot but don't you think Roll would figured it out by now come on. Don't you think they have a least hugged but that would be mess up to see wires hanging out of him.Plus they have knew each basicly of there life in Roll's case not so much Mega man.

Well like I've already said and like TIESEL and IS clarified, everything's been explained rather vaguely to this point. What we do know, is that the carbons are the human's "exact" copy, and even with that we can't be entirely sure that there aren't at least a few minor differences between the two. Trigger's race has NEVER been discussed, so anything said about it is inconclusive. All we can really do is contemplate, and- Oh hey! Contemplate? Conjecture? mmls.proboards7.com/index.cgi?board=talkmmlgeneral&action=display&n=1&thread=1004Wow! Who would have guessed, there's a thread made specifically for that subject =D Hardly anyone has been posting there, d*mnit, and I wanna' see some responses building up!! So hop to it!! IS: But we also aren't sure that carbons themselves aren't considered robots, to members of the system, or the remaining humans who's data is stored in Eden. Although they may be the "perfect clone", they might still be thought of as robots, or androids or summat. This is what I meant by his race, his actual race, and not his componants n' such. Example, the platypus is considered a mammal, though it lays eggs. Why is it thought of as such? Because it's warm-blooded. Most members of the bird race, too, are warm-blooded. Why aren't they considered mammals? Is it because they don't show as many mammal features as the platypus? Who knows. This may apply for Trigger, and the other members of the Master System.

yes mighty Shift I'll post even more on that but It's kind of hard to do that with just you, me and few other people all posting there only. Maybe carbons are robots but they don't even know it.

If they were robots, surely the people running the Kattelox hospital would have noticed.
*During a major operation* Doctor: Okay, first we have to make an incision right...HOLY #$%@, THIS GUY'S GOT WIRES AND COMPUTER CHIPS INSIDE HIM!!! ACK!!!

I agree with Dashe, Carbons can not possibly be robots.
For example, in MML, the Junk Shop lady is pregnant. Robots are machinery, they can't reproduce unless they build another one of themselves.
As for Trigger being Carbon, that's also true. If you remember the report in Barrell's room in MML2, Barrell found him when he was a baby. If Trigger was a machine of some sort, he would not grow into what he is now. And...well, in the movie before you play the game, he's not wearing his armor. You can clearly see that he has "skin" and both of his arms and hands.
As for this stuff about his armor and detachable weapons and them being too long or too short...eh, just blame it on bad graphics. ^^;

Ok just get this out the way the vegtable or fruit guy wife was pregeant, the junk shop lady already had her kid it was behind the desk.
yes just bad graphics I guess If mml3 comes out hopefully they fix that. Make more realistic in the way Capcom was doing with MML2.

You're right rage...it wasn't her that was pregnant, it was another chick that looks like her in the AppleMarket...she's just wearing different clothes.

Jeez, can you guys read?.. _ _'' Different TERM applied towards a different MEANING. I do not mean robot in a stereotypical sense, no. I mean that since Trigger is meant to be a perfect "clone" of X, he might therefore be CONSIDERED a robot, to members of the system, the Master (prior to death), or summat. Please, I understand that my posts are boring, but not so much that you shouldn't even read them
