(I can't and don't believe that I haven't posted here)
What do you mean by not showing up? Like you can't find it? I'm pretty sure it's in the big room with all the annoying platforms, where you need the HydroJets, where you make that really cool Jetskate jump that flings you way across the room. I ♥ Nino ruins.
(The instruction manual calls them Neeno ruins. ;D)

In my opinion, I hate the Nino Ruins. My problems with the ruins is that with all the water that slows you down, you go through it very slowly. Also, if you can't move fast, your buster or special weapon doesn't have very good range, and the only thing blocking the door is a couple of Guru-guru reaverbots...it is pretty annoying. You know what the Guru-guru reaverbots are right? Those flat things that when you get close enough, they charge at you...they just creep me out.

Those're pretty easy too avoid. Just hold down the triangle button for the Lifter, then chuck one at the other. Doesn't typically kill both, but the second one's taken down easier after taht with just the buster.
You move quite a bit slow, but I think maybe the point of Nino Island ruins was to be challenging in that regard though, and I respect that.

I just jump over them, I wish that they weren't so creepy though. They always seemed to be in the creepiest dungeons, in my opinion. I wonder if they would appear in MML3.

Hmmm...I know they appeared in Lake Jyun, the Main Gate, and that huge ruin in MML, and in Nino, but where else...? I can't say I've ever thought they were creepy. Now the first time I beat an Arukoitan, and saw the Orudakoitan just sitting there, bleeping out that red light, THAT was creepy. I just stood there for like fifteen minutes waiting for it to do something. I was such an idiot!
If the water didn't make you go so darn slowly, maybe more people would like Nino.

I don't know why, whether it's the music or the enemies but whenever I go into a water-based ruin in a MML game...I just get really creeped out. I always wanted to get it over with as fast as possible. The music is probably the reason and if that is so, then maybe I should try it with the volume down. The music in the Calinca Ruins was also very creepy.

Good grief, you know what scared the mess out of me? Those fish reaverbots in that one stage in MML1. It was insane, those things sitting there in the water on the sides of the walls. And of course, my brother insists on a destroy everything/search everything policy for 100% game completion, so I shot them a couple of times with my buster. Bad idea there, my friends.
I certainly hate the Nino Ruins, but purely for the slowness which is incorporated therein. The enemies are placed nicely, and Klaymore's a fun boss. Not to mention that I just love Nino Island so much. It's just the awful slothy pace and that droning music. I mean, I generally like retoned versions of older music, but this stuck out as kind lacking. At least it fit the ruins, I suppose.

I agree with Dashe. I enjoy revisiting all of the other ruins besides Saul Kada's. The boss I enjoyed, mainly because it was a bit more interactive (For instance, the floor where it walks by, and if it spots you through the window thing, it will ram its head into you) But redoing that ruin is so bad... And they bombard you with 765,568,098,457,876 of those Shape-Shifting Reaverbots, exploding reaverbots, Gorubeshu reaverbots, and random wolves that jump at you. Not to mention missile-shooting chickens. It's one big headache.

I don't remember having any trouble with keys in Nino...the only keys that gave me trouble were the crazy key reaverbots in Calinca. I honestly can't remember the guardian boss of Nino, it was that long ago that I played through MML2. The sheer length of the level and the lack of save points really annoyed me. On Hard Mode I just barely got out alive.
