okay this was weird, but it's how i found this place
i was googling for images of Trigger and Roll, but i found a picture of the legends layout, but it was on a nintendo DS box cover
---i know that coulda been a good edit, but, is it real?
if it is, then i'm gonna find it and buy it, and if/when they make the second one on DS(provided first is real) then i'll get that one as well
personally, i think it'd be cool for them to re-make it for the N-DS

lol, I fell for it too XD. It was an april fool's joke that was on several Megaman sites, including this one. There's a thread about this not too far from here, which also said that Rockman: Perfect Memories had staged a very elaborate joke, and they even ent as far as to make fake screenshots.
I would have gotten it too if were real though, sigh, but a man can dream can't he? I certainly do hope they release it on the DS, but that's probably not going to happen.

Well...as i said in my introduction topic, i'm more nintendo than anything,
So yeah it'd be nice to see MML on the DS...heck they may actually be planning it under our noses...but a good idea would be to go to one of the nintendo supervisors at a convention and tell them we want MML on DS

Well...as i said in my introduction topic, i'm more nintendo than anything, Ha! Me too, I'm appreciative of Nintendo more than any other video game company really. Which is why my profound hatred for microsoft was partially due to the fact that they took Rare away from them!! Ahem, back on topic, telling a supervisor at a Nintendo convention might not be a bad idea, but I'm not sure they'll really keep it in mind, though. I'm sure they have hundreds of people telling them different marketing ideas. Personally, I don't eally see any difference between that, and writing them an e-mail, or something.

write them an email, tell them in person...whatever it takes
i'd love to play MML1 all over again (except marlwolf >_<) but on the DS this tme, then hopefully play MML2 on DS if they do that
they revived Mario for GBA sp, so why not Mega for DS?

About Nintendo...well, I used to be a Nintendo fan, but eventually I just kinda started liking all of the game companies (or at least all the good ones).
Wha? Mario's always been around. He's never needed to be revived. I mean, he's Nintendo's mascot!

what i mean is: Mario's older 2-d version, i played three different games on GBA that were semi-3d, Mega man BN 5 Team Proto was the main one i played like this
but my intentions were to say:
the brought back and older Mario from a 2d-basis on the GBA sp, so i fell the classic-to-be MML should be reproduced into a newer generation of Systems, so that we could continually play it

Rockman DASH was re-released in Japan already for the PSP. It's not coming to America though. I don't think Capcom's going to re-release it for DS, either. I personally don't see what would be so great about it myself. Because Nintendo(“they”) doesn't, nor will they hopefully ever, own MegaMan Legends. Why should something Nintendo did have any effect on what Capcom does?

It's practically one of the most well-known origins of gaming. Megaman Legends, although great, is hardly considered a classic among the gaming community. I don't think Capcom would want to remake a game that nobody's ever heard of and that nobody will probably buy. It would be nice, though...

I'd imagine the difficulty comes in dodging those annoying energy balls and waiting for the hatch to open. But I digress...I can't say I fell for the DS prank, but I wouldn't mind if it happened. Heck, I'd have bought an N-Gage if they'd released Legends exclusively on it, because I would do anything to get my hands on new Legends material. I'd kind of have to if I wanted to keep my reputation on this board at all.

bad about Marl' ?
just as Dashe said in her post - the energy balls, break your armor's power shield, making you burn a shield repair, and then the hatch take FOREVER to open and only stays open for like two seconds before an enemy comes out and draws your fire, my best luck, was as follows
powered buster the tread into nothing, wasting all most shots, then get up on a ledge and strafe until close enough to hit with buster gun until victory
---sure - i'm a know you guys have probably heard of or tried this: it's easier to get on the back of marlwolf's body near the hatch, but i noticed - that's not as easy as it sounds
but though Capcom owns the Megaman Enterprise, i'd much prefer they revive legends - though it's not considered "classic material" - we could all agree it's one of the best games of it's time

Don't even shoot the treads. Get back far enough on the high ledge and the big green shots can't hit you(they'll hit the ground and stop). From back there you can snipe at the hatch with the Powered Buster.
I don't even take out the treads, I just get up jump on his back and take him down with the Machine Buster(or Powered Buster, either one really..). But since you have difficulty doing that, my long range strategy up there should do the trick.

i've tried that one two - it moves to fast unless i blast the treads
but back on subject - PSP in Japan has it Eh?
well though at this moment they are NOT planning and American PSP release - they will do it one day, they just wanna see the sales in japan first
i know a bit about reproduced marketing,
Super Sentai is Japan's Power Rangers, they have great ratings over there too, and then once done for their saga, they bring it over to America for the show Power Rangers - but about 50% of what PR earns form toys and so on goes to Sentai for providing the suits and miscellaneous items, however, the Red Ranger Battlizer is all-american
it's the same with reproducing a game such as legends - it may not be "well-known" for it's time, but since they re-released it in Japan, they'll watch the sales, if the sales are a fair value, they'll then begin conversion into american versions and start selling it in America
and i cnat wait - i personally think they should do one for DS though, primarily because though legends wasnt considered "Megaman's greatest", it is still pretty good for it's time, not only graphically, but storywise as well

Upgrade mines to the top (which isn't much), Take out the tank on the legde ez, hope on his back and when the hatch opens toss those mines in there two times faster than you could throw a frizbi then BAM! Even before he could slam his hands against his sides hes gone. When hes making his little defeat speech jup back up on the cliffs and kill a tank and grab some extra zenny. And oh yeah those green balls are nothing if you listen to what green said.
