i've tried that one two - it moves to fast unless i blast the treads Yeah I understand how it would be too fast for us. Course thats what we get when we people like green who are a practically reaverbots playing the game.

Yeah i'm a guy who takes in everything on the boss battle scenes, just to see if there's any easier way
--no idea how many times i've tried jumping on Marlwolf's back, but honestly, my strategy took five hours because i used all my cash to up grade the P-buster and only had range and energy increasing Buster Parts,
sure it took a while, and i figured out the green ball trick myself by battling him the first time ever,
but as for the Frog boss - you'd expect it to actually be hard but the boat you ride on has quite some defense, even though the frog keeps attacking it more than Trigger, finally i found it's final weakpoint thnx to Roll and beat it hands down one try
and they say in the strategy guide i read in the store that Bruno was the toughest, but i just slid to the left, and moved the control stick to right to make a circle-style path and shot my Buster gun which had max range/energy/rapid and 50%max attk - beat him no dmg to me
but Marl was always the guy i dreaded, until i met the flying one after opening Main Gate's door, and those are actually the two bosses that are the hardest ones to beat
but still, a new platform version of MML would be awesome

I still can't beat fokker on hard using no special weapons. Or No Energy cantine.

mybusterbroke: I never thought about using the Splash Mine, but that sounds like an excellent idea. Good thinking. i've tried that one two - it moves to fast unless i blast the treads Heh.. well, yeah. When I took him down for the first time, I had a lot of trouble blasting the treads. I was really bad; he kept hitting me down on the ground. So I learned to time the hop onto his back when he's moving quickly very early on, and I've been able to do it ever since. I can easily see how that would be a problem for you, though. But when the hatch is open, you have a pretty good time window to blast at it. Your understanding of those things is good, but such is not the case here. Capcom of America will either re-release MegaMan Legends 1 and 2 for the PSP's Playstation emulator, or not at all. Sony Computer Entertainment of America made some bogus rule about not Directly porting games, a few short months before or after the release of Rockman DASH for PSP in Japan. Whether or not Capcom of America would've wanted to re-release the games anyway probably would've depended on the sales in Japan though, you're right about that. (Although, sales in America weren't as good as they were in Japan the first time, from what I understand) But given the current situation, I somehow doubt it will happen. If you have a PSP, I would like to point out that PSP games are Non-Region Protected, meaning you can import the PSP version of Rockman DASH and play it on yours.. but as someone who probably hasn't played the games as thoroughly as I have, you would have a bit of difficulty understanding the games in Japanese. I think the game works a lot better on the PSP than it would on DS. I'm not really sure why; that is, I'm pretty sure the Nintendo DS is capable enough to run the game.. but I doubt it. The games look very sharp and run very smooth on the PSP(it's actually better than on the Playstation); it's really a great port. The only real thing about a DS port that might be advantageous is the fact that Nintendo would probably allow a US port, so people here would be able to enjoy the games, too.

What? I thought that was obvious. I used to do that all the time, before I decided it was better to just skip it and jump when he came close enough.

Splash Mines on the Treads = Obvious. Splash Mines on the hatch = Not so much?

Yeah. It's actually a pretty good idea. I never thought about it, but at point blank range, that's got some pretty good Rapid. With the small time window that the hatch is open, I'd venture you can do quite a bit of damage(plus it's really cheap to upgrade).
