Just looking at the picture:Do you think it is a prototype Nino island? The restaurant sign seems familiar. Also I think that shop by the blue haired person is a gift shop.
After watching video: Definatly Nino island,and that is the restaurant. It looks much more interesting that way, it has alot more character than the Nino we are used to. Also those spiky haired girls are weird lol. Oh and the Kattelox bell and sheild make an appearence too!
Which ruin do you think that is a beta of? I can't really tell, probably a completely scraped ruin.
Great work Trege, I can't wait to see episode 2!

That blue-haired girl. Is it me or is this the place where they got the screenshot at the back of the cd? It would be fascinating if it is.
Also in the first video, what is that music/s you used?

Oh my GOD it's SUPER ZAKOBON! I also really loved the rainbow. I don't remember seeing it. I was wondering why the heck the Kattelox Police Car was there, and why it looked so "well done". My guess is that Super Zakobon was snacking on it. Anyway, I'm starting to really love this beta stuff!  |

It is pretty amazing what one can find in hidden in the programming though. Discovering them is almost an art in-itself.

Wow Trege, you dig this stuff up like nobody's business! >: D A regular beta content-findin' machine for sure. And hey...that is the city from the back of the MML2 game case! Always awesome. : ) Re: Video 1- Hm, it's a city of Dommies!  : P Also interesting is the recolored Shu wandering around the city. The 2D sign being blown around by wind is an interesting effect, as is the 'return of Rover' there. : P Re: Video 2- The Kattelox police car? With a rainbow nearby? Surely that car must be made of 'black gold'. : P Giant Horokkos...glitchy, eh. Would have been much easier to handle than giant Janfodens I'm sure. :17: Very good, Trege. Wow, you are the master at digging this stuff up. That beta room in video 2 looks like alot of fun, and is it just me or are the jakkos bigger too? I thought it was cool that the Horokko smoked as you shot it. Oh and don't think I didn't realize you were playing Shadow of The Colossus music while killing it >  . |

Yeah I was playing that music due to me being a SOTC fan and because I thought other SOTC fans may like it if there are any on this board. Dommy town... And some beta Shus. :18: You are a god. That decorative airship flying around the cieling in "Restaurant" says "Kyain". Wonder what that's aboot.
Anyway, that whole area is quaint. Quainter than any place in the finished game, in my opinion. Shame it never made it.

So the god dang beta town that was featured at the back of the Legends 2 CD case and on that V-Jump '99 video, was inside Episode 1 all this time.
Now that is unexpected.
I really hope we see game-shark codes for these soon. =)
