MegaTuga & Dashe: Thanks! Glad to know this "non-bat hair" Tron seems to be too 'big' of a change. (Then again, considering what I have done with Teisel and the Bonnes biggest rival...) Edit: Just a quick one before this evening's update; changed the background of the latest page to black because it seemed fitting.

Dang, I'm glad I printed out the white background version when I did, then. The black version looks a lot cooler but it'd have annihilated my printer's ink for sure!

Update: The Bonnes' introduction deserves one as promised, so this update's DOUBLE PAGE TIME!Also updated the About/FAQ section with a couple of annotations and added my take on putting in OCs in this story. Have a read if you're interested! Also, the next page's the last one of the chapter, and the end of the Bonnes' introduction sequence! Now to see how much far they'll get this time around...

*faster-than-speed-of-light-thanks-to-twitter* Oh hello Bon, whatcha doin'? Kinda expected some huge redesign on him though. (then again he only appears partially so my expectations may come to fruition) By the way, is the "Gesselschaft" front supposed to be open like that? Or it is just because the cannons were there and the "mouth" is closing? That doesn't look at all aerodynamic if it is always open like that...
Also a funny story. When I first played TMoTB, #33 was the one I picked as the favorite Servbot. I don't remember why.

When I first played TMoTB, #33 was the one I picked as the favorite Servbot. I don't remember why. Well we know that Bon's default body isn't his final form, so who knows? The Gesselschaft is what I would prefer to think of as "slow moving death", so aerodynamics isn't one of its key points. The stranger thought I have is how there could be more than 40 active Drache at the same time...

Oh cool, it's the intro scene with 500 grams of badass and a dash of drama. I'm gonna sit back and twiddle my thumbs for the next two weeks staring into your avatar like a boss.

Awesome!
...Now watch the update next week turn out to just be Teisel's eye, zoomed in. That'd be the second most epic troll this year.

If you were expecting Teisel to be awesome your wishes were heard by HF and multiplied by the infinity. Fancy cape? Check. Cool looking belt? Check.
A sabre! ... I'm dead now. Kudos HF.

Ah. You did actually show me Teisel. You probably want some kind of a reaction out of me, so as promised, here are some surprise exclusive pics of me waiting for it! I'm not sure if eleven-year-old me would have been likely to include your version of Teisel in any sort of elaborate fantasy involving barbecue potato chips, anime marathons, and kickass ghost powers, since I'm not sure how his personality's going to play out at this point, but I still stand by my statement of probably wanting to wear his outfit in a smaller size if I ever become any kind of warlord. I think I even HAVE a saber. (P.S. - Watch out for those nasty jet turbines, elevators, tornadoes, rockets, and Edna Mode, T-Bonne. )

Sorry for the late reply, everyone. It's been a hectic week with work and projects, and I didn't want to give a half-assed reply. But I haven't forgotten! MegaTuga: Thanks again for bumping the thread during the update! In that case, I'll try not to disappoint! Dashe: You being the big Teisel fan, of course I do! That's quite a 'thing' you prepared indeed, I'm honored. You wouldn't have a "utter rage" version of the last panel on the chance that I didn't show Teisel, do you? As you probably remember, Teisel's appearance here is a parody/homage/ripoff of Matsumoto Leiji's Captain Harlock (Teiselock, was it?). First I wanted to give him a tranquil no-nonsense personality like said space pirate, but reading those versions of the storyline lost too much of the original. As a compromise, I just let him retain his loud and prideful side but ramped up the competence and 'control' over a situation. Of course, the Servbots are an entirely different matter and I would prefer to keep the funny part of their character around. Edit: Also, Fujitsu is awesome (high price is damn worth it). I normally use a T901 now, but my T4220 for 7 years and it's still running strong. Now onto the more serious stuff: The second chapter is currently in progress, though as mentioned in the site's post I may need some off-time to get things flowing steadily. Even though my other projects may get demanding as the time goes, I still don't want to just 'halt' RMDL either. Worrying isn't it? Anyway, I'll be releasing more concept sketches sometime next week. So until then!

HF - I'm the Teisel fan now? Awesome. I must've scared away the competition...er...not that liking a video game character is a contest or anything. And sorry to disappoint, but I really just drew that on my shiny new T902 as I went along. It was all improv. Maybe if we run into each other on iScribble I'll whip something up. I'm still completely unfamiliar with Captain Harlock, but I do remember the last time you mentioned that quite well. As for time management, I'd say just do what you can when you can and, as I've been saying, build up a backup supply of finished pages before starting Chapter 2. Between chapters is a good point to shift your focus for a while anyway. The busier you think things are going to get in the imminent future, the more pages you're going to want to have ready before kicking off the new stuff. It's good you're doing concept sketches, too. It shows the audience that you haven't halted anything. Audiences have this tendency to give up on projects when they don't see the creator attending to them on a regular basis.

I'll remind you when I find time to go on again. You have a T902? Well consider me envious! I bought the T901 only months before the T902 came out, so I never had the chance to try it. In that case, I'll probably skip a week or so to gather my things up, but keep posting things here and there. You won't mind that, would you? Oh, good! Posted this one a bit earlier for starters:

Just posted on FB earlier, (partial) character height comparison! Tall Teisel is tall...

I hesitate to comment directly on these drawings with Captain Teisellock in them because I'm sure if I said what I really thought about 'em everyone would really start to question my authority. It'd also probably come out like a quote from Elmyra Duff regarding something fluffy and inhuman. T think I've just realized how long a time it's actually been since anyone other than me has drawn Teisel at all. Keep up the excellent work.
