Including that refractor at the beginning! You would think he'd be a little easier on the prize! I love it though.

I hope this leads into some kind of explanation as to why Kattelox seems to hate Diggers so much. I'm guessing based on earlier events in the chapter, Kattelox has had bad experiences with Diggers showing up and depleting their resources somehow?

I assumed that the Junkman thought he was a pirate actually. I don't see why they'd hate diggers if they rely on them for energy.

Remember what happened when the Flutter crash landed? The police accused them of being either diggers or pirates, and then when Rock said they were diggers, they were still just as ready to drag them to the station as they would've been had they been pirates. It was page 01-002.

Typical scratching-your-nose scene... I always knew Rock would be like that.
As for the reason they hate diggers... uh.. maybe some greedy diggers have visited Kattelox for the "treasure" in the main gate? And by greedy I mean VERY greedy

Great point Dashe! I actually once thought of a fan fic where a terrible group of strip-diggers invaded an island. They were led by a brutal captain and they would completely strip down an islands ruin system., even popping the eyes out of the walls! The twist was that at the end of this short story it would be revealed that Bluecher had hired them and that that was how he made his money. Obviously this would expain the strain between Barrel and Bluecher a little better. It would be an interesting dynamic for the world to depend on the work of diggers yet the general populace hates them. Great page anyhow! Looking forward to the reveal of the spot car!

Loken: Now wouldn't that be quite a prequel... Incidently, a large majority of the characters voiced by his Japanese VA are all mafia big-shots.MegaTuga: Well he does something like that in the official art (unsure of its source, either for MML2 or a unique one for the Rockman Complete Works; color schemes don't match any of the published games so I'm thinking it's the latter). In addition to answering more questions specific to this adaptation, the next update will also address a certain big question raised from the start of the RMDL Project... any takers?

Well, Mr. Trebek, I'll go with, "What was that dark shadowy thing that snuck up on Rock while he was looting the body for parts in the intro ruin and then ran away?"

Nah, I think it's more like: "Who the heck is that nameless and generic digger in the intro, that seemed bland yet had some sort of eery feeling on him?" ... lolz

Interesting way to go about things there, HF. Planned it from the start, eh? I think it's clever. I may not comment as much as I used to, primarily 'cause there's usually not much I have to add, but I'm still watching. From the shadows. And stuff. Keep up the good work!

Wow HF, I really, really like this! Excellent addition to the Legends lore and a great way to clear up those terms! This is one of my most favorite pages so far.

Mikéy: Thanks! Always great to hear from you now and then! Can't make things too easy for our blue boy, can we? Loken: Glad to know! Though cross-referencing with the JP and EN terms may wind up confusing to some (in hindsight), I would prefer to make all these changes meaningful and with reason; not just using the Japanese terms "because it's the source content" or alternatively using English terms for linguistic convenience. That reminds me, I really should update the glossary to give these terms more deserving descriptions... Edit: Just dropping to update the Glossary with the two termsPlease tell me if they makes enough sense!

They makes plenty of sense! I appreciate the extra backstory. This new dimension to the story you've added is brilliant and I look forward to more! I actually really look forward to when they get back to the junk woman and when Rock meets the Mayor so I can see how they think about digouters. Of course I also look forward to the impending Tron sighting!
