That last panel is the Protip for most bosses in the game.
I hope he doesn't destory anything too fast though. The story has barely started.
Excellent work so far though. I haven't said it yet because I tend to hold back when everyone else is already saying the same thing, but it's true. Keep it up, this is just what we need these days.

It always sucks when you're blown right into a wall and leave a crater. Looks like Rock gets to run around in circles and shoot repeatedly! As usual, keep it up, HF!

Technically that last sentence should've said " I've just got to keep hitting it until it stops moving!!!" and the center panel on the far left side has "destroy" misspelled. There have been three major Legends comics on this site--one by KaitouAilren that wound up getting a reboot that didn't last too long, this, and Alternate Trigger. I really hope you can (at least) get him out of the ruin before work starts consuming your life and finish the tutorial arc, if anything. Cliffhanger endings really suck, as we all know by now.

Are the buster's lights health indicators? I've never seen them like that, I imagined those were slots to put the buster parts (some kind of chips) PS: Try to not getting so stressed by the work.

Whoa, that Hanmuru Doll really is a tough ol' bugger. Just like how it was in the game. If it weren't for his armour, MegaMan would really have been in worse condition.
I also like the idea of the health bar being located on MegaMan's buster.

Thanks for the feedback and support again, everyone! @ Raijin: If so, then I am glad to have drafted this one battle to be more exaggerated than the straightforward in-game equivalent. @ Mikey: Oh if only it was that simple...? @ Dashe: The text mistakes are all fixed now. Thank you again. You're right. It would be a shame to end it so suddenly, and at least finishing this small arc would act as a breather in between so I can work on more immediate matters. I don't want to lose out on the opportunities ahead of me, nor do I want to waste the draft script of how this 'small-scale' tutorial concludes. @ Rockman Striker: Indeed. Those are life indicators like in the classic series. And by coincidence (with Ariga.H's Remix series), the life indicators diminish outwards from the user. I actually had an image a little eariler which shows how I interpreted the Buster in more detail, along with Weapon Slots and mechanics. @ Steffie: At this point, I think Rock would have been outright killed from a direct hit, even. Except he has a suit meant for a main character hero. It's made of plot armor. Update: Not yet, it's not over yet for me and the comic. And so the battle continues, the absence of dialogue and reduced sound effects are intended to portray a longer sense of time in the events going on of this battle. Also, if I manage this, next week would be a special treat of sorts. Let's see if I'm up for this.

You can do it! We believe in you!
A break between arcs would be good for you, for sure. Catch up on that real life stuff. Especially if you finish up the tutorial just as Rock's escaping to the horizon on the Flutter, before Rock and Roll even start talking and before the engine trouble sets in. That would actually be the least-cliffhangery thing you can do for the entire story, because once you crash-land on Kattelox you'll have that overreaching arc of getting off the island, or at least fixing the Flutter, nagging at the readers until then. The Legends 1 tutorial is actually really nice and self-contained, and you've done enough different with it so that it becomes more than just the same old introduction to a world covered by endless water than we've heard again and again and again.

Awesome. Love how action-packed that page was; especially how MegaMan fired a few shots and then dodged the Hanmuru Doll's attack; then used his lock-on.

Update: This is the first double-page update, and a coincidence to make up for the lost week. Despite appearing lengthy at first, I personally enjoyed drawing this one scene. ( Full Image) As far as updates go, next week is not very hopeful but not impossible either (moving everything out of my Osaka quarters and got only 3 days to do it). Despite these changes in my private schedule, finishing this one arc is the bare minimum; how I manage the rest is still over my head at the moment, but I would get a clear idea of it in due time.

Best of luck with your move, HF! That's always hard work. Love the full-page spread...and don't worry, you'll figure something out!
I read through the whole thing again, and it looks like in your latest revision for the second page, you've misspelled the word "Traveling." I think that's the only spelling mistake you've got in the whole thing, unless, on that first page where the Hanmuru Doll appears, you meant to write "Shoot, I guess I have to do it alone" or "Shoot, I guess I have to go alone" instead of "Shoot, I guess I have to go it alone." I'm not quite sure if that was intentional or not. Part of me thinks it could pass for a blue-collar colloquialism as-is.

Really love the use of the splash page. It also showed how huge the Hanmuru Doll is compared to MegaMan.

Great double feature HF! Good luck with moving and such, can't wait to see the next page. Dashe "Go it alone" is something I hear and say all the time, and I think it sounds more lively than the other two there.

Yeah, it did sound like a colloquial or regional phrase. Obviously not from a region I'm familiar with. Now I bet Chiz thinks I'm Canadian even more.

I knew I was starting to read your mind HF! I found pretty hilarious to have a health indicator in your arm when you actually feel the pain: "I feel like I'm dying, but my indicator says I have 5 life units, I hope it's not malfunctioning again!" Anyway, it's a clever way to let us know when Megaman is dying for real.
That double page screams to me: WALLPAPER!!!
