I just happened to be talking to my friend on the phone, and we got into the subject of the new Castlevania game being released when suddenly-- "So, yeah, Legends 3 is going to be released on the 3DS, so you might wanna get that."
"Huh?"
"Megaman Legends 3." He chuckles, knowing full well that I'm a rabid legends fan. "They announced it."
"No they didn't."
"Yes, they did."
"No, they didn't!"
"Yes, they did."
"Stephen...I will frickin murder you if you're lying!"

I didn't cry, but I'm insanely giddy none the less.
I came home from school and looked at protodude's rockman corner. I saw the big 3 and my heart skipped a beat. Then I told everyone near by XD CANT WAIT!!

No crying from me here, but I nearly shat myself and probably had a minor spit-take when I saw the news on Kotaku. I was never as devoted to the series as you guys are, but announcements like these are unexpected--not surprising however, as Nintendo has been making the same for the last half-year.
This calls for Mega Man Legends 2 Abridged to start soon!

My Reaction:  But when i realized it would be on the 3Ds...  I was really looking forward to playing L3 on a big screen. But hey, who cares, it's FUCKING LEGENDS 3 :U |

I have always hated the statement "His/her eyes widened" when written in a book.
I was lurking around Exploding Rabbit forums (a video game forum like this) when I saw the thread title 'Mega Man Legends 3" in the Handhelds section. I went to the topic out of curiosity, since I don't see many people talk about MML3 outside of here nowadays.
Once inside the topic, I saw the first sentence in the post.
"It's about time."
My eyes widened.

When seeing it first, my first thought was "OH. MY. GOSH.". Then I suspected it may have been fake, that someone mistranslated Inafune's speech on purpose as a cruel, cruel joke. When watching the video, hearing and reading his words that were obviously spoken from the heart, I squeed uncontrollably, with my hands permanently caught in an "I'm taking her home with me!" position. Then I told my whole family. Afterwards, I read Dashe's speech, and thought about how closely I could relate to it, even though I'm a comparatively new Legends fan. It was a magical day for me. ;D

I feel like this is going to lead to an influx of reaction videos all over youtube. Its been done before, and honestly I wouldn't blame the people that do it. News like this naturally generates quite a response from fans that have waited this long.
...or not.

I'm guessing it's a recreation. |

I read the news, and was just quiet
Pretty much my reaction right there. It was very early in the morning, so I don't think I had the energy to react. XD Once I was actually 'awake' I still had trouble believing it, but it certainly brightened up my day! |
