- Edit - It has been a while, Legends Station. But as we all say: Legends never dies. That's why in 2013 also, I work on Remixes. Proudly presenting 44 Seconds of highly polished two year work Rockman Dash 2 - Elysium Defense Zone 2013 EditI'm so pumped for all the Fanmade games. Thank you so much for keeping this franchise alive in spite of Capcom. It's hard not to hate on them, since they represent the creative equivalent of a bad parent to me. Did I just seriously call everyone here "Game-Youth-Services"?!Mother Zone Older Defense Zone Older Nino Ruins Older Side Ruins Older New Defense Zone Older Calinca Ruins Older Manda ruins Older Next in line: You decide. Please have a listen and give me your oppinon, it's greatly appreciated. Also, you can always suggest what song i should do next :3

I like each of these, and think they could benefit from being expanded upon a bit. I also look forward to future installments of this variety. My favorites are the more intense ones, Defense Zone and "Side Ruins" (Prototype Anthro Unit's Residential Area).

(Prototype Anthro Unit's Residential Area). That's where it played in MML1 as far as i know. In MML2, it was one of the side ruins.

Really, they are pretty amazing and looking at the comments most of the people also liked...

Good stuff! If you're taking any requests, my favorite legends song was the Manda Ruins.

Nice. I didn't really recognize the Mother Zone remix, but then again I barely remember the original tune itself. Nino's my personal favorite of these, obviously because it's more convincing to do an ambient track digitally than some things that originally had orchestral elements to them. Trying to emulate traditional instruments digitally always makes a piece seem very synthetic to me. I'd approach it a little differently myself ( Even the original midi seemed that way to me, so even if you were sampling from it my opinion wouldn't be any different). That aside, these are fantastic. Looking forward to more.

Good stuff! If you're taking any requests, my favorite legends song was the Manda Ruins. Ohhhh yes. I wanna do that now xDDDD ANYTHING is better than getting my head around Calinca. Nice. Thank you :3! I didn't really recognize the Mother Zone remix, but then again I barely remember the original tune itself. They’re all on Youtube, that’s where I get my references from. Maybe have a listen to freshen up the memory. I'd approach it a little differently myself ( Even the original midi seemed that way to me, so even if you were sampling from it my opinion wouldn't be any different). I agree completely. But you see, till we can really put the sampling rate to >5Billion Hz we’ll just have to put up with real orchestras or noticeably sampled content :c There’s nothing I can do about this really. That aside, these are fantastic. Looking forward to more. Thank you again. There will certainly be more!

I just had an idea that might be cool if you're up to it (could even be a collaborative project): Get some theme from MML and remix it into different genres. A dubstep version, a techno version, a hardcore version, a minimalism version etc. Maybe even as far as jazz! I dunno, what do you think?

I'm sure you could find some creative workaround, right? I've heard some bands sample a handful of different notes from actual instruments off of stock music and use pitch correction to make entirely new songs. Of course, you'd need the music to sample from and software capable of doing that. It's totally possible, but that's assuming you have the resources or even enough time on your hands for that kind of thing. Just an idea. EDIT- That's also assuming you can isolate the sound somehow. There are solos out there that you can find under public domain, though. I'll see if I can find some links ( no guarantees, it's been years).

I sort of like the synthesized sound. Then again I'm a big LSDJ and Minimalism fan and not very many people really even recognize those genres.

As a Matter of fact I am using one of the highest quality sample libraries out there, it's called KONTAKT. You'll hardly going to find a better Virtualized Orchestra ;D.

All of those were really solid...cept for the Defense Zone. That snaaaaare... xD Glad to see some one else making quality remixes for MML. I kinda fell out of making them, but who knows...maybe you've just inspired me to jump back on the saddle. Oh...Mother Zone was my favorite. :3

Hey, just saying: I'm not dead. I'm still working on those remixes, though i have to admit Calinca and Manda ruins are REALLY hard to make agreeable music of. Meanwhile, I took on some more evil orchestra, if you're interested ;D www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8Fk2JwOYc4

Mm... Sonic music. I'm loving this tune, although I can't say I recognize it from anything. It's been too long since I've gotten my Sonic on. Good luck with those other remixes. EDIT: Just finished listening. It got even better toward the end. Awesome awesome. Ye-EDIT-EDIT: Now I'm listening to some of your other stuff and it's also very cool. I'm loving Nino Island. I forgot how awesome that theme is.

Thank you very much!
Now i got a question for all of you readers:
Was the Calinca Ruins theme annoying you, too? The ding ding ding dong-ding-dong tune in there drove me near-crazy when i got stuck down there XD
