Ha, it's been far too long since Legends Station had an official poll! fab's gonna kill me for this...but we all know that we'll probably remember where we were on this day when we found out about Legends 3 for the rest of our fandom. How did you react?

For anyone who's wondering, I specifically requested the “I didn't cry, but Dashe's speech made me cry” option. I don't think it really hit me ’til I started reading that. ='D Prior to that I was in the “I didn't cry but I was extremely giddy” category, though. ;D And for a long while I was completely speechless.

I literally froze as I read it on another board, and instantly jumped on over to here and froze again, then proceeded to tell everyone I knew that knew about it. It was a crazy moment.

I read about it in the MvC3 boards in Gamefaqs a little while after waking up, I didn't have much of a reaction besides "cool"... I still don't have much of a reaction besides a certain degree of happiness so I just chose "I didn't cry, but am insanely giddy nonethess" because that's as close as possible.

I dare someone to choose "I don't care about Legends 3 at all."!

The dare has been completed. I don't care about Legends 3 since I haven't even heard of Legends 1 or Legends 2. Is that even a video game? That would be next goal in life to create something that is called Legends then hopefully get it up to the number three.
I'm happy about Mega man Legends 3. My heart dropped to the floor when I read it. It's not connected to anything in my body so it does it all the time. I should probably get that checked out.

Ack! So far I'm the only person who actually cried. Even though it was just a little bit. ∗ is embarrassed ∗ Miss Dashe still wins for puking though. I don't think anyone's gonna top that. o__o xD (Sorry, Miss Dashe. )

... I just meant I thought it was awesome you had such an extreme reaction. o.o I mean, I love Legends and I'm thrilled about the sequel, but the announcement didn't make me so excited I actually spewed. That's so over-the-top, I almost wonder if it really happened.

When you're in charge of the largest message board on the Internet pertaining to a video game series that's been in a coma for ten years, and all of a sudden that series you're running the biggest online community for is back in the spotlight, and on top of that, its creator makes a video promise to deliver a game worth the wait that will please those people who waited all that time and bring in new fans to help it grow and evolve, you tend to have extreme reactions.
It's kind of like working hard as a model and not really getting anywhere, and then in a matter of seconds winding up with your own image on every box of Life Cereal that hits the shelves.

^This, if I remember right. Seems more like something that's being done out of self interest than simply pleasing a crowd, so I'm hopeful. Not faithful, hopeful. If I'm bitter it's because of the herd mentality.
I wanna be pleasantly surprised, and I'm hard to please. I've had my poor heart broken by some series revivals over the past couple years, usually games that were groundbreaking in their time that should never have had their corpses dug up.
This poll could use more options, I think.

@miss Dashe I'm not saying you didn't have a reason to react so strongly, I just wish I'd felt that excited about Legends 3. in·clover Just don't get caught up in the herd and follow the info yourself I say. That's how I'ma do it. It's occurred to me that Capcom could ruin the series with this revival too, but even if they do, at least it means I won't be willing to wait another half of my life for the next game. >.<

Eh, even if it bombs I'm happy. At least it happened. If it controls anything like the originals even if it sucks I'm sure I'll have fun with it.

I've voted for "I didn't cry, but am insanely giddy nonethess" I must admit my real reaction was, "...Really?" since I read about the Legends sequel speculation the day before. But, I became quite giddy afterwards

My immediate reaction was not what I thought it would be. I was just silent. It might have been because I locked my bedroom door the night before, jokingly thinking to myself that I felt like someone would try to come into it early in the monring. Then at around 6am-ish, someone creepily started to knock on my door and turn the handle. And not just once, but every few seconds, which totally creeped me out. :06: It was my brother telling me to come down to the computer, so when I went down to the basement, I read the news, and was just quiet.
Then after a little while, I started squeeing. It wasn't until later on during the day that I realized how BIG this news was (and how long we had all waited, plus how Legends has influenced me in life, so it means a lot to me), and I couldn't stop crying.
All of my favourite things in the world can make me cry like a baby!
