I had a feeling I'd make someone's day by using my old Specter sprites, and I was not mistaken. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who played Ape Escape; it's one of the under-appreciated gems of the Playstation family because of its unique control scheme, I'd say. It surprised me when Spike was added to the roster of Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, and in his Million Monkeys outfit, no less; Million Monkeys is one of the only Ape Escape games NOT to come to US shores. A shame, too, because Specter was playable in it.
In the topic of ASBR, I was also surprised that Sony remembered enough to include Sir Daniel Fortesque from MediEvil, another little-known gem on the Playstation that I played and fell in love with. I still remember how satisfying it was back in the first MediEvil game, fighting monsters as a skeleton trying to prove his honor and valor; My favorite stage was Scarecrow Fields, if not for the part where you finally get the harvester running and carve a huge swath of open expanse in those imps' playground, then for the first time I found the good Serpent God and let him loose on the monsters.

Mannnnn I remember MediEvil. Haha, that was like one of the big highly advertised titles. Man... I never really got into it since I'm not into all that skeletons and vampires and stuff stuff, but still... I totally remember that game.

I was not surprised at Sir Daniel Fortesque's appearance in PSASBR. In fact, I would have been surprised if he didn't make the cut. After all, Sony needed as many characters as possible for their fighting game. Also, the franchise is more popular than you think it is. After all, the first game did get a full remake for the PSP. (MediEvil: Resurrection)

I loved me some MedEvil. I never played a lot of it, though, despite my love for the horror genre. Around that time I was only able to rent it a few times, and I never got around to actually buying it later. I used to draw Daniel all the time, though.

They finally forced that silly YouTube One style on channels now. It is such a downgrade from the last couple of interfaces.

Played a bit of Ape Escape last night. It doesn't feel quite as "amazing!" as it did back in the day, but it's still really fun, and the graphics have aged surprisingly well, in my opinion. I wonder if I could pick up AE2 and 3 somewheres.

They finally forced that silly YouTube One style on channels now. It is such a downgrade from the last couple of interfaces. Uuughh, I hate this layout so much. It makes every channel look like a lifeless copy with no emotion. I liked the previous setup because it allowed for some sort of visual diversity with backgrounds. Youtube changes every month or so, I hope something new comes along so everyone can ditch youtube and let them die like myspace did I love YouTube, and love it as a medium for artists, but their constant changing is aggravating. It's silly and unprofessional. It's always "Look how new and improved we are! This is the greatest change ever, even though we'll be changing and saying the same thing in two months!" They might have ADHD regarding that, but they need to understand that their partners/viewers don't. I rarely hear "I love this new design", which just goes to show how much they listen to their users. Played a bit of Ape Escape last night. It doesn't feel quite as "amazing!" as it did back in the day, but it's still really fun, and the graphics have aged surprisingly well, in my opinion. I wonder if I could pick up AE2 and 3 somewheres. TO AMAZON!

I don't think I've ever seen Youtube make a single change that I've liked ever since I got my account in the first place. Worst off has got to be their nagging at everyone to use the name they've got linked to their google account instead of their username. It makes me so glad I actually made up a last name that remotely resembles something like a last name even though a bunch of people thought it was a dumb idea at first.

Yeah. I really do miss the channels from around 2008-2010 or so the most, but the last one was definitely a huge step up from this current One. It's kind of odd how they say they want you to go to specific channels then make the search engine a mess, the channels generic, and the inability to play videos on channels like you used to back in the day.
I really do hope they don't force us to use names or I'll have to figure out an alias to use. I am not comfortable with giving my name out, even my first, to many people.

Maybe if enough people petition 'em to switch back they'll...eh, who am I kidding? This is Youtube.

Lol, youtube only cares about getting money and spamming ads on us in any way possible. I like how it's popular, but they don't pay attention to the users at all. Ad blocker + ddos on youtube
EDIT:
The HowToBasic guy could help you if you liked the old design

I don't think I've ever seen Youtube make a single change that I've liked Nah. The current playlist system is !)))))))... I mean 1000000000000 times better than that ugly bar on the bottom of the screen that they had before. I just wish they hadn't gotten rid of the Queue and the "Add to playlist" button. Edit: And, yeah. Youtube really does desperately need to find a way to turn a profit or else we won't have a youtube for very long.

Edit: And, yeah. Youtube really does desperately need to find a way to turn a profit or else we won't have a youtube for very long. Not exactly. Google is still updating and taking care of Youtube in order to solidify its brand image. It's just a huge Pro-Google marketing scheme. A really positive type of marketing scheme indeed!
