This is heresy I'm hearing, all of it. You'll all like the games you buy and play them, or I'll throw you to the Warp so fast your eyeballs will spin out of your heads! Ah, but just kidding~ I know that feel, I really do. Out of all the games I own for my 3DS, I've not finished any of them. Minecraft's mainly the reason why, but another factor would be lack of certain devices dedicated to improving gameplay at the cost of respect among your peers, i.e., a goddamned Action Replay 3DS for 3DS games. (I mean COME ON, DATEL, there is no excuse for this! You guys are experts at making ARs work, you're telling me Nintendo's all of a sudden one-up'd you in your home field?)

Most of my game collection is off in storage, across the country somewhere. But I think it's about 200-300 games, aside from PC titles. Can't quite remember. It would be a lot more if I'd kept up the pace of buying them wthin recent years, but money's been a douchebag as of late and I can't hook up any other system than my 360 at the moment. I miss my PS2...I'm filled to the brim with free, or flexible time--such is the life of a freelancer--so it's not like I don't have time to play anything.
When it comes to unplayed titles, most of those are on my 360. I bought too many games at once some time ago and haven't finished a single one those yet because I got distracted from the one I'm playing through (think it was Eternal Sonata) by the various PC indies I play. Fission mailed. Hopefully I'll be back to my old game obsessive ways shortly, when I have more space and moneys. Those were the days when my creative inspiration was skyrocketing...

I may literally have over a 2000 games in my library (I stopped counting at some point. And yes, I have a problem.) with 35% of them being unplayed (Plus around 25% played but unfinished), but at least I don't open my games until I decide to play them. Woah, woah, woah! I'm sorry, but I gotta' call BS here. A collection of 2000+ vidya?! Pics or it doesn't exist.

So, uh, wanna trade? I'd use that money and buy myself a nice suit and a haircut. You can trade gifts, but you can't trade experiences. Funny. I actually bought Minecraft, played it for 5 minutes and then left it alone forever. Also, you just lost the respect of one of your peers with that sentence. I have too much university work to do right now as to go to my storage room and start taking pictures of every cabinet full of games. I might do it next week if I remember or if someone remembers me to do so. (As long as it doesn't count as disrupting the forums. I can't afford getting into more trouble at this point.) P.S. I'll admit that around 200 of those games are digital. (Rough estimate based on memory. I never bothered to count those.) I guess I could take pictures of my download list, but I'm not sure how I'll make everything fit.

That's "SketchMan3". Capital S, capital M and the number 3. It's official (nicknames are ok, though)

I don't have these problems with console games, but I do have the problem with freeware downloadable games. I have a bunch of unfinished and unplayed freeware games in my downloads folder.

I used to play lots of video games when I was younger. I have, at the moment, about 250 video games (including ones for the PC). Unfortunately, my teaching career does take up quite a bit of time. I'm only buying games from the series I really like and won't try and venture into new territory.
Speaking of video games, is anyone else having trouble with Stream? Ever since I tried to reinstall Sonic Generations after I got a new drive, it kept failing when it wanted to update :/

Oh, you mean Steam, Steffie? Nope. There doesn't seem to be any issues on my side. Maybe this will help. If not, let us (well, me) know.

Okay, Fatman. It's time to take a break from /v/. The last thing MMLS needs at this stage are green-text implications or stories.

Actually, I'm from /m/, and occasionally /co/, /tg/, or /toy/, but I always wanted to use the >implying meme and saw a perfect chance to right there.
In all seriousness, it shouldn't matter how I choose to play my games to some people. I don't care about your opinion of me nor your respect, Adrian, and in all fairness your condemnation of my cheaty ways in the realm of vidya is about as inappropriate as my greentext was. I choose to cheat in games according to whatever extenuating circumstances may crop up in my playthroughs that may make playing the game unfun, and occasionally to see stuff that may be 'dummied out' or hidden in ways I could not access in normal playability. If you've got a problem with that, well, I can't help you there.
And as for Minecraft, well, I can't really be mad for your not liking it. To each their own.

To be perfectly fair, and I am loath to stick up for Adrian in any shape or form, but you did state: ...but another factor would be lack of certain devices dedicated to improving gameplay at the cost of respect among your peers, i.e., a goddamned Action Replay 3DS for 3DS games. C'mon now, Fatman. If you pointed out that it can cost you respect from your peers, and somebody states that they have lost some respect for you, then it's hardly sporting to get all worked up about it.

Ah. Point taken, seeing as how I did state that. Sorry about the fuss.

Damn, I can barely even read that green text. I must be getting old.

In any case, to each their own burrito. If someone wants to play a game with their butt, they have the right to do it. If it doesn't affect anyone and they get fulfillment out of it, then no one has the right to judge them on their actions. Fun is fun is fun.
Think this all went a bit out of hand, though. Adrian might have been joking...

Adrian might have been joking... Well, I'm only trying to point out that neither side is right nor wrong. Think about it this way. Imagine if I told you that I was getting a haircut, but I also mentioned that it would probably make me look stupid. Then, after I got it cut, let's say... Dashe came along and told me that it did indeed look stupid. What would you think if I started getting upset at Dashe, despite knowing full well what consequences may come out of getting the haircut beforehand? That's the best way I can put it. I just don't want this turning into needless bickering, y'know?
