The Squares' group and Parallelograms' group was hatin' on them, so they were banished to the Polygons' group. (Think of them as a lovechild between a square Romeo and a parallelogram Juliet. I have never known the trials and tribulations of wearing braces and I probably never will. I've fooled many a dentist over the years, too. Having a great smile without even trying rocks.
As far as candy goes, I really prefer chocolate. I like those Milky Way bars they've got now where they took away the nougat and just left you with a ton of caramel encased in chocolate. They should've done that sooner.

Oh boy do I remember having braces and HATING sticky candy like Starbursts or Taffy. Didn't stop me from eating them(Looove Starbursts, I do. ), but then again, I've had way too many cavities. ... and no since I got my braces off, I haven't worn my retainer for years and my teeth are pretty crooked again. I am fail.

The only problem I had with my teeth was they were crooked.
Had the braces, they were painful, PLUS the monthly check up to have the bands replaced!
I hated it, and still do too!

@ Dashe: I've never had braces, but it seems to me that nearly EVERYONE I know is getting them because they need them. And they LOVE to get the parts that stick on the teeth (whatever the hell they're called) in different colors. And sadly, if I could smile without feeling like I'm gonna crack, I probably would've won a beauty pageant years ago. @ Pitch: I don't think I've had cavities. Either that, or we haven't gotten around to finding one yet. I'm not exactly the type of person who's an extreme hardcore dental-hygiene freak, though, so I probably have one that's gone for a while without being noticed. (And yes, Starbursts are awesome. I loved the Baja California ones before the company discontinued them.  ) EDIT: Ninja'd by- Pre-EDIT: Never mind. DX But I love my corn, even if I have to floss after the cob-eating. |

I never really liked corn too much because I'd have to floss after eating it off the cob. I get stuff stuck between my teeth that I have to deliberately floss out much too often. I think it's payback for never having to wear braces. |

Yeah, having braces was painful. And my orthodontist apparently didn't like me much. He always seemed nice to me (random fact: we have the same birthday), but apparently he'd trash me to my sister or my cousin when they went in. I got my braces wrecked a lot, thanks to being in martial arts at the time. (Getting socked in the face while wearing braces is exactly as awful as it sounds) I was so happy when I got them off. But it was basically a total waste now. D'oh.
