I just punched a muffin, and it was AMAZING.

I still don't do this randomness thing well. On the musical theater board I used to frequent more regularly, there was a thread that was originally intended to be for randomly talking about nothing, but the only thing any of us could ever get out of it was meaningful, coherent conversation and it was actually really nice. I guess gamers operate differently. It must be the anime influence.

I'll show you meaningful conversation!

Wait- it doesn't count posts in GD? Weird.
And Dashe, I wouldn't lump gamers and anime fans (I'm not gonna say the O word) together if I were you. That can lead to some pretty awful experiences.
OHAY, I just finally changed my password on here. It was something INCREDIBLY obvious, but now it isn't.

Yeah, posts in General Discussion don't count toward your post count. They haven't for ages; I've always wondered why... I don't really do random threads either. Just isn't my thing. ;

I'm not too particularly good at ranomocity (is that a word) either...

A handy dandy guide to distinguishing gamers from anime fans would be nice. I'm still convinced there's a ton of overlap, because I've yet to meet an anime fan who wasn't also a gamer. And when you're neither of the above, you're less tuned in to the visual and behavioral differences. :06:

XD But on random-ness: While some aren't exactly as random as others, it's not hard to be random. (I'm a key example of this IRL.) All you have to do is just say the first thing that pops out of your head from nowhere. (And now I want peach rings. <3)

Well Dashe, I play games constantly, and the only anime I have ever enjoyed were Big O, and Lupin III. Some cowboy Bebop too!

Hah, well, VC, now that you've said you want peach rings, the first thing that's popped to mind...is peach rings. Now I'm thinking about how peach rings are pretty good, but gummi bears are better, especially the pineapple kind. It's still related to a preconceived 'topic' of snack foods and could become adequate fodder for an intelligent, thought-out conversation about junk food. Loken--I think VC had the same thought as you did for a second, but I just said I'd never met an anime fan who didn't play games too, not the other way around. It's like photographers and paparazzi. Every paparazzi is a photographer, but not every photographer is a paparazzi. Make sense?

Loken, posts may not count here but the rules still do. Especially the double-posting and five-word minimum ones. Same goes to everyone past and present who's assumed otherwise behind my back.

Perfect sense. I would like to add that all starburst are flith :20: But...... But!! ..... But I love Starburst....... *sad corner* Dashe: That's why, in order to keep the randomness alive, you go from topic to topic, without stopping! And you have to stick to it, otherwise people get too lost in thought and get deep conversations started. It's like playing one of the games Mrs. Davis makes us play in Theater Arts: It kinda requires quick actions and going off instinct. In a way, kinda like improv.! (And yes, it makes sense. Like how all squares are parallelograms, but not all parallelograms are squares.)

My apologies Miss Dahe, I figured sense it's all random nothingness that it would not matter. VolnuttChan, The yellow isn't good, the pink isn't good, the orange most certainly is not good, what do you have left? Just the red, and it doesn't make up for the others.

VolnuttChan, The yellow isn't good, the pink isn't good, the orange most certainly is not good, what do you have left? Just the red, and it doesn't make up for the others. Simple: Everything else that's not in the Original package. (They don't just make only the Original strawberry, lemon, orange, and cherry Starburst, y'know.) Oh, and by the way: "the orange most certainly is not good". O-RLY? Do I see some hatin' on the orange Starburst? (Why so specific on not liking the orange SBs?)
