I read everything. It's just hard for me to say much about games and characters that I'm not familiar with.
Which is odd, because if everyone here is following that logic, then a hefty chunk of MMLS must just not eat or dream. But yeah, I can relate to that picking up other people's slack against your will stuff. They'd better be paying you overtime for that one.

Good luck, and have fun...you do mean your sister's boyfriend, not your crush's boyfriend, right? Haha yeah, definitely my sister's boyfriend. It would be a little awkward if my crush's nonexistent boyfriend were coming along

So...is anyone in the USA prepping up for 4th of july yet? Got a cookout tomorrow and I've got to make 2 batches of spinach dip before then. Planning to see some fireworks after then too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm gonna probably go to my grandma's tomorrow and spend the day with her. We won't shoot any fireworks in the evening or anything; it's been too hot recently to want to do anything outside, even late at night.

The AC's broken right now. I keep feeling like I'm going to pass out every time I try to do things that don't involve walking around holding a bunch of ice packs.

I may have gone overboard with the Steam summer sale. Before I had plenty of games to occupy me. Now I have reached the point of having difficulty choosing which game to play.

I got dragged to the beach on Monday and took my Game Boy Advance, since I don't enjoy the ocean and those LCD screens work a lot better in direct sunlight. It was really windy and by the time my friends got back from the water, there was so much sand that you couldn't see anybody's towel anymore. That sand also scuffed up the GBA and the numbers on my Stupidphone. Good thing I can count, because you can't read 7, 8, or 9 anymore.

Invest in a Advanced SP. It's got the back-lit screen and unlike a DS you can still play the old GB games! Why don't you like the beach? Is it the saltwater?
I've got a massive assignment due in two hours. I've basically done nothing else all day. I've just got a 5 paragraph essay left and I'm sure I can get it done. It's my last class for a semester then I transfer. I just got my Associates.

I have an SP. I just like the advance better because the grip is more comfortable and the lithium ion battery on my SP is wearing out. With the advance I've been getting longer battery life. The scuff isn't gamebreaking, it's just aesthetically displeasing.
My problem with the beach is the sand. It gets everywhere. I was only there for an hour on Monday, and two days later I'm still picking it out from between my toes, among other places. You just can't avoid it. It only gets worse if you spend the day actually in the water.
Congrats on the degree, and best of luck with the sprint to the finish!

Just finished the assignment and I think I'll do well. I'll share one of the essay questions I had with you guys and see what you think. It was about if our National Parks were sold to companies. Specifically it ask what I thought it would be like if the Disney Corporation owned them. I didn't write anything fantastical about it but I thought I'd share it with you because of how bizarre that would be.

I'd reckon Disney would go for the thematic approach. Suddenly Death Valley becomes Agrabah! (I swear! If my next post has to quote Loken again...)

You've gotta remember that these days, conversation on MMLS is like being a 3-way game of catch. If you're not in the art section you're probably going to be responding to Loken or me. I mean, really, anyone else is more than welcome to join in.

Speaking of the Game Boy Advance, I love the fact that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are basically using it as the design basis for Gen VI's Hoenn Pokedex device. I find that amusing.
I finally cleaned up about seven years' worth of dust, garbage and old broken computer from my office so we could do something about the daybed in there. I am glad I'm more diligent in cleaning these days; then again I HAVE HAD ABSOLUTELY BUGGER-ALL TO DO AROUND HERE, I'M GOING STIR CRAZY.
The release of Smash 3DS and ORAS cannot come sooner, I swear to God...
On an unrelated note, Dashe, of all the Playstation games that aren't Megaman Legends or Legends 2 or MoTB, are there any you suggest I get for my PSP?

I don't know what PSP has to offer in terms of PS1 classics, but the Playstation games that I liked alright that weren't Legends-related were Threads of Fate, Silhouette Mirage, Final Fantasy 9, and Ape Escape. I've heard good things about Tail Concerto and Brave Fencer Musashi, to the point where I'm sure I'd have liked them if I'd checked it out, but as of now I've never played them.
