So I found out today that I have low blood sugar. How do I know this? I almost fainted this morning, but luckily I caught myself in time to fall on my side.
Does anyone here know what's safe to eat in this situation? I can't just eat sugary crap, I need some somewhat healthy stuff.
Help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Fruit has plenty of natural sugar to keep your levels high.

I 2nd Busters advice. Any natural sources of sugar is the best way to go around it. Here's a good source that gives some good details on what to eat.
Ironically, I had recently found out that I had high cholesterol...or near high at least. But it was close enough to have my doctor give me the red flag. I had to help enforce the head of the household into allowing us to get more fresh fruits and veggies via a local farmers market so that we could cook more fresh foods rather than rely on pre-made junk when none was left. Because of it, I think im doing better now...but won't know until I take another blood test. Hopefully you have good results too over time with your low blood sugar...Fainting isn't fun and I know it- went to an ER once from it. So it's best avoided.

Thanks, and likewise with you CyborgWizard . I just did some heavy spring cleaning to get rid of junk that didn't even belong in my room in the first place...Feels great now to have some more of my own personal space. Anyone else done some spring cleaning?

Personally, I prefer to clean my room on a weekly basis, so there's never really a moment when spring cleaning is necessary. Really, the worse case scenario is that I put off changing my bedsheets for two hours because it's extremely awkward on a loft bunk.

My room is like a clown car and will never be clean unless someone sets it on fire. I can throw stuff away as much as I'd like, but the stuff I already have just expands and fills up the space the tossed stuff took up before.

I don't know why it took me this long to realize but last year, I donated blood (I felt faint afterwards but it was cool anyway) because I am a good person. Then, I received an SMS telling me about my blood type which I never knew. It said that my blood type was O- . My only reaction was: "Okay, cool."
Now last week I am watching the news and they are talking about donations, then they moved on into a chart which explained all the different blood types. And to my surprise O- is a rare blood type that is compatible with everyone. I don't know why but I felt like 22% more special when I realized that.
... Of course that if I would ever need a transfusion I can only receive from the same type. Oh well.

Oh wow. Then I hope you don't mind whenever I need some blood after a vampire rave or something. I will be sure to do the same for you.

I'm already in some bizarro kidney transplant pact, Tuga. You'll forgive me if I'd like to keep my blood for the time being.

So apparently there's some kind of outside protest going on at my job, and we're under emergency guidelines ('shelter in place'). They're on multiple floors, outside of the building, and now I have to find a way to get out of my building without running into The Mob. Funny thing is, our organization doesn't have anything to so with what they're protesting about.

Weather needs to make up its mind. Nearly 90 on Mother's Day, barely 50 mid-week, and now it's warming up again.

It's that time of the year when the harvest is fresh! Time to get some great produce! Peaches! Nectarines! Watermelons! I'm gonna go to my local Farmer's Market in the next couple of weeks. (Maybe some of us will be up for a slice of apricot pie when we get back.)
